Onward - Liftoff

What does it look like to move closer to God, one step at a time? Pastor Connor will explore that question in our new sermon series, “Onward.” This week’s message looks at the beginning of our journey, the launchpad we take off from. Like a 5,000-ton rocket under gravity’s pull, we are weighed down by the immense burden of our sin. We cannot overcome this weight on our own; we need the rocket booster of Christ’s power to overcome it for us. Pastor Connor talks about the gospel: how we need it ourselves and how we can share it with those around us, so they can also be free from sin’s burden.

This week, our hosts talk about our new sermon series Onward, they go over the weight that Christians have on their shoulders, the difficulties of captivating someone when sharing the Gospel, and at what point does one know enough to share the Gospel with others.
