Have you ever been so excited to enter the presence of the Lord that you pounded on the door of the church for them to open up? This week, Pastor Connor continues our Summer in the Psalms with a look at Psalm 24, where King David does exactly that. He’s eager to worship the Lord, who created the earth and all it contains. But there’s a problem: only people with clean hands and pure hearts are allowed into God’s presence. The only way sinful people can stand before a holy God is by receiving the perfect righteousness of Jesus. He allows us to come before the King of Glory, and our proper response is wholehearted worship.
This week, our hosts dive deeper into the Psalms, specifically Psalm 24, some of the talking points were, how much control is too much control, why people don't get excited for church, and what wholehearted worship looks like.
