Conversion. A conversion is necessary in the life of every human being. It helps us to realize how messy, difficult, confusing, life is, without having Jesus. Having Jesus is very centering. Very real, very mature, and gratifying! We learn the truth of our existence when we have a real relationship in Christ. Our desire to be Catholic, to be faithful, and to be living in a daily commitment with Christ at the helm of our life, is a life changer. We all need to experience a life changing event for a positive everlasting eternal outcome. To be Catholic. Is the first decision. To study the faith is where the nuts and bolts come in and our attention is caught and as they say when the student is ready the teacher will come and in this scanerio Jesus is the teacher. He can teach you if you desire it! Prayer. Silent prayer. Opens up the heart and mind in receiving Jesus. Enter a Catholic Church and you will be blown away by the history of the Catholic faith. The bible, the apostles, the saints, the martyrs, the angels, the love of Christ living inside of you has a great gift he wants for you to receive. They say that the Catholic faith has to be caught and not taught, I agree. I caught it in my great grandmother. I have spoken about her in my podcast. What made her stand out, the fact that when ever I saw her, she was in deep prayer. At home, at church, her devoutness to God was real. I was drawn to my great grandmothers love for God. That example was shown to me as a child. That example became the seed that took root in my being and my personality reflected it. I was serious about myself in being in Christ. And because of that I was not allowed to follow the path of others, oh no, I was drawn to cutting a path all of my own. And no matter what the outcome, I was trusting that in the end it would lead me to Jesus. And sure enough it did. There is a cost when we mis-use the gift of free will given to us. We can either live a true life in Christ Jesus, or we can live an artificial life in ourself and in others, and die an empty shallow lonely death. Or we can choose a life in Christ that is real, definitive, and completely entrenched in the gospel bringing life to others in truth and in love for Jesus. Obviously we have an important decision to make and if we take it to heart, we act upon it and not waste the grace God is wanting us to receive. There have been and always will be souls that have never looked at faith as a priority in their life, and being faithless, all the riches of heaven are lost because they chose to live outside of God's laws. But when we are living inside of his law, we learn to develop skills that over time become perfected through God. And we are able to see his fruitfulness in our very lives, each and every day through our engagement in prayerful dialogue, our heart, our mind, our soul, connects with Jesus and we are one in Him. Dynamic in Him. Rediscovering who we really are in His love for us. It's a beautiful intimate relationship feeding us the spiritual food that is necessary for us to live purposeful, joyful, lives in union with Him, in order to receive the grace of his company accompanying us through life on earth to life in eternity. Preparation is necessary. Our cooperation is necessary. We open up our hearts and the truest desire can flow and we can experience the truest life meant for every Catholic Christian. More energy is given to a faith filled devout Catholic who says yes to Jesus and Mary. With that energy is Joy, and joy can be felt and experienced every single day you choose to live a divine life in Jesus. More happiness comes natural to the converted believer who abandons the ways of the world, receives the power of Christ!
