Opening up the bible, changed the very course of my life. The guidelines were all there, answers to every question imaginable, and yet, something some how, always abruptly stopped or interrupted the process of completely entering into the holy presence of God. It was God himself asking me to give him my heart and in turn I gave him ultimate control of my life. I surrendered upon the death bed of my paternal great grandmother. Kinks to work out, twists and turns on the journey, mistakes, mishaps, all leading me in the end back to God. He knew I was a tough one, but did he ever tenderizer my heart, so broken, so renewed. You see we all need to face our failures, our weaknesses, in order to be renewed again. Life throws some pretty hard punches and not all of them damages us but some really knock us off of our feet. I reference the bible again because I know in my heart, every single word in scripture is holy is true and worthy of comprehending. The bible frees us from making poor decisions in life, its all there, we just need to read and learn and live a Christ centered life in Jesus Christ. Yes, it is that simple. You may think you are above your creator, and I am here to tell you that you are not, you were made lesser than the great I AM. We are dust and from dust we shall return. Ours souls live forever, our bodies die, but we will never fully comprehend what Jesus has in store for us when He comes back for us. So for now, try to live in Christ's Mercy, Christ's Peace, and be prepared for the duration of your life yet to come. We have no control of the day when our bodies die, but today we can study Gods word, and sit in silence with Him and listen, and be still, and hear his voice. It may not come to you right away, it may show you how to trust, and let go and allow him to lead you better than you have ever led yourself. He wants to show you something new, and sometimes we have to step out of his way, how do we do that, we surrender ourselves to him. Then when we give him full control we can see him working through us, not the way we would choose, but with the understanding, he knows exactly what is best for every single person living right now. Be open, be silent, listen through the silence, it is there you will find him and experience his great love for you. We are in the second octave of Easter, ask him to give you the gift of his divine mercy. But ask as my pastor would say without an inkling of doubt. And wait patiently upon the Lord. He loves you, he wants what is best for you, allow him in to show you the way to live! Amen...
