In the news this week we hear about IBC plans in light of new Covid restrictions and also report on many IBC related news announcements, first up is LiveU who will be in Amsterdam demonstrating its end-to-end contribution and distribution solutions, Argosy is introducing a new a range of connectors and tooling from Simply45 at IBC for CAT 6, CAT 6A and CAT 7 cabling installations and Mediaproxy will highlight recent upgrades to its industry leading LogServer logging, monitoring, and analysis system on stand 7.B44

PlayBox Neo has chosen IBC 2021 as the venue for the European debut of its latest-generation broadcast playout system, Magewell's stand at IBC will include the Magewell Cloud management software and Clear-Com will be returning to IBC this year and showing their latest product releases – Arcadia™ Central Station, FreeSpeak Edge® Base Station and Station-IC™ Virtual Desktop Client.

Intinor has joined The RIST Forum as an associate member, Hedge have released Postlab full support for Media Composer and ES Broadcast has been appointed as one of the first three new members of Grass Valley’s GV Media Universe - Advanced Channel Partner Programme.
