Brothers With Opinions: Unfiltered Thoughts on Football, Freedom, and America's Future
Friday night lights have returned, and the Brothers With Opinions are here to break down all the local action! High school football in the Shenandoah Valley kicked off with some eye-opening results. James Wood's 44-3 demolition of Clarke County signals they might be this season's team to beat, while Handley silenced doubters with their impressive victory over Eastern View despite losing their star quarterback. We spotlight multi-sport athletes making immediate impacts, including basketball players who've brought their talents to the gridiron.
The conversation takes a serious turn as we examine the troubling pattern of ICE and military deployments in major American cities – specifically those led by Black mayors. We don't hold back in discussing how tariffs are impacting everyday Americans while straining international relationships. This raw, unfiltered discussion tackles hard questions about democracy, media control, and who's really calling the shots in Washington.
NFL fans will appreciate our breakdown of the blockbuster Micah Parsons trade, with Dallas sending their 26-year-old defensive superstar to Green Bay for Pro Bowl DT Kenny Clark and two first-round picks. Was this a brilliant strategic move or a massive blunder by Jerry Jones? We offer bold playoff predictions for both conferences, highlighting sleeper teams and potential Super Bowl matchups that might surprise you. I was ready, bro. It's a hindrance. Silence is cassette, so let your voices be heard, man, we brothers with opinions. Now we spreading the word. Bringing light to the dark Revolution is our art, man. A lot of people talk, but they ain't never walked apart.
Speaker 2:Gotta shine a light on poverty and fight against injustice, and always speak the truth. When the enemy's amongst us, brothers with opinions, he's a monster brothers with a pink dick voice. B-b-b-w-o, b-b-b-w-o. Hey, welcome to BWO. I'm here with Chris Tucker and I'm Tony Dinges. What's up, chris?
Speaker 3:What's going on everybody? How you doing tonight, tony.
Speaker 2:Whoa, hype, whoa. I got to turn my headphones down. What's up, jeez?
Speaker 3:I see 1v1 back there, kids running around.
Speaker 2:So everyone, carl Rush couldn't be on with us tonight. We've postponed that show because he has big announcements coming up soon. So we want to prepare for that and him be ready for that show. So me and Chris are going to go solo tonight and we got some topics to talk about. Chris, we got Trump, we want to jump into the Epstein list, tariffs, all that kind of stuff, and then we'll talk about the NFL what's going on in the NFL with the Micah trade.
Speaker 2:But first off we'll jump into, uh, football, local football in the area, because it's kicked off and there was, I don't know, would you say, some shocking wins. I would, I don't know. But let's just start it off. We got chris. You just have to be like, oh, that's shocking. So we'll start off. We got in our local area. This is all the Shenandoah Valley teams, everybody about. We try to hit all the local schools. It's a lot of schools, but we try to hit on all of them. So Warren County filled a rock ridge 23 to 22. James Wood destroyed Clark County 44 to 3. Hanley beat Eastern View 23-9. Strasburg over Skyline 41-20. And then Meridian won 55-0 over Justice. Falkir won 62-0 over Manassas Park. Kettle Run beat Liberty 35 to nothing. Sharando won 41 to nothing. That one against Amherst County, that's Sharando might have something this year, chris.
Speaker 3:Yeah, Amherst was always a beast school when I was living down in Lynchburg. Man, they were nice. Yeah, I'm not so sure now.
Speaker 2:But Loudon Valley beat Millbrook 21-7 under their new head coach. Millbrook's got a new head coach, so they lost their opener. So now that's area school. Oh hold on, I forgot Central. They beat Stewart's Draft as well. In their opener they won 28-12 over Stewart's Draft. And then let's not forget about our, like I said, the whole Valley Tri-State area. Let's not forget about our West Virginia neighbors. And Martinsburg fell to Camden out of New Jersey 28-0. Chris, you got something to say about that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, as much as it was a whooping in the scoreboard 28-0, and it was at Martinsburg. Camden came down to Martinsburg, west Virginia.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it drove yeah.
Speaker 3:That's a school that's from Jersey, which is closer to me, but that's southern New Jersey, and just for Martinsburg to play them and get them to come down there, that might be Martinsburg's only loss of the year. You know they don't play around with their schedule. They play a lot of tough schools. And that's a lot to get the school from New Jersey on their schedule and actually have them come to Martinsburg.
Speaker 2:Right right.
Speaker 3:You know, when you crush all the teams in your area like you got to kind of do stuff like that to figure out how to have some competition and get ready for the season, because their season is always in the playoffs.
Speaker 2:So we'll see what happens.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I totally agree you definitely got smashed on Friday last week. What's that? You definitely got smashed last Friday at home.
Speaker 2:Oh, you're right.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you know, that doesn't really happen to them.
Speaker 2:Right, right, yeah, in their own house, but moving on real quick, in other words, spring Mills he made noise last year won 14-0 over Jefferson. Hedgesville fell to Nitro Some of these high school names 52-14. Woodrow fell to Nitro Some of these high school names 52-14. Woodrow Wilson beat Washington 41-20. And Martinsburg fell to University 40-21.
Speaker 3:So that can't be right. Martinsburg played Camden.
Speaker 2:No, I said Musselman right. Did I say Martinsburg played Camden or? I mean? No, I say Musselman right. Did I say Martinsburg again? Yeah, oh, my fault, my fault. Yeah, University beat Musselman 40 to 21. So only team that won was Spring Mills in the Eastern Panhandle, it looks like, which is crazy. But we won't forget about my boys, East Hardy. We'll give them some love too. Chris, you said don't forget about East Hardy. Yeah, you know, they lost to Wahama. I get W-A-H-A-M-A somewhere in West. 79 to 40 was the score, Sheesh 79. Yeah, Well, that's just a lot of points period To me. There's no defense in that game on both sides of the ball, Unless that whatever put in their backups and then he's already started scoring. But yeah, that's all the area scores for us. So which one stands out to you? Because one that stands out to me is james wood demolishing clark county like that, because usually 44 to 3.
Speaker 3:They brought back a lot of people from last season and they I mean obviously there was a lot, a lot more students than james wood, than clark county, but yeah, they, they put it on them, man, and they might be the team to reckon with this season.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I feel James Wood was my sleeper coming in like that. I think they're going to make some noise. Like you said, they got a lot of returning players.
Speaker 3:I don't know the running back's name. I can't think of it right now, but I know he's shot really good, right, right, but we'll have to find out all their names.
Speaker 2:But, yeah, that one sticks out to me the most and of course to me the Hanley win was big because everybody figures, you know, we don't have Tristan Darling at quarterback and playing Eastern View, supposedly like really good, you know a really good school, yeah, they have a study of game.
Speaker 3:Last year and Hanley held them down.
Speaker 2:So I mean, I don't know if that says something coming, because a lot of people were talking oh, why they schedule Eastern View like that's a loss is what a lot of people were saying. I'm calling you all out. The whole community was thinking Hanley was going to lose that game and they ended up winning. So you know, good for them, boys. And to me, ultimately, that boils down to coaching as well. I mean, coaching has a lot to do with, you know, getting a team to play together. So that's a good start for Haley beating Eastern View as well.
Speaker 3:Yeah, haley has a good coach that quarterback that stepped up and started position in place of Tristan he had a pretty good first game and those basketball players that finally came out to play this year for a lot of their senior years they had a lot of impressive plays and helped their team win a lot. I mean, you know, on last Friday.
Speaker 2:Right, right, yeah, uh what you got to the ball too. You got amari brown now playing out there and already killed the russian touchdown. The first game. Yeah, uh, isaiah baxter, I already got an interception. He plays corner I think he caught a touchdown too maybe I I didn't check into check into it, but I do know those two that you know Isaiah got a pick and I know Amari definitely scored at least one touchdown. But I know they move from watching their scrimmage a couple weeks ago. They move Amari around a lot.
Speaker 3:He's fast, he's shifty 11 men on both sides of the ball, but they held him to nine points, and my predictions for players of the year in the area would be JoJo Johnson, on defense from Hanley.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's a no-brainer. And Danny.
Speaker 3:Burks from Skyline, even though they lost to Strasburg, and Strasburg has a lot of returning players from states last year, so they might have somebody that could end up being player of the year. But I'm high on Zayden, who had like 18 carries for 100 yards, but he also had a 94-yard touchdown or something called back on a penalty and like a 64, 65-yard punt return touchdown called back on a penalty. So unfortunately for him and for Skyline, andre's son, andre Jr, he had three reception touchdowns for Skyline though, so that was big for him well, that reminds me.
Speaker 2:I heard a few comments reading comments on social media that the problem with skyline it's going to be disciplined with the team that whole. Anybody reminds me of that comment somebody made?
Speaker 3:yeah that's rough because it was in skyline like strasburg went over there and beat them and they beat him by like 20. So yeah.
Speaker 2:So I, I don't know, I don't. We know a few of the kids like you mentioned andre ford and and zayden and stuff like. But yeah, somebody made the comment that discipline is going to be the coach's biggest problem. I guess with skyline, that that team, but they do have a talented team. But stralsburg, stralsburg's just on another level right now. To me they should win double-A. They should win, they're about yet this year.
Speaker 3:Double-A. And what's Hanley? 4a, 4a.
Speaker 2:Strasburg's only double-A, I believe.
Speaker 3:Remember, I've got to check because it confuses me sometimes. Right, I went there, we were AA, so you know what.
Speaker 1:I mean Right we had the episode on.
Speaker 3:Sunday with Trey Curz and Danny Westfall. They were AA state champs but there was only single double and triple A.
Speaker 2:But you got to be. That was like 40 years ago.
Speaker 3:So Strasburg is 2A.
Speaker 2:Hanley's 4A. I'm old enough to remember when Winchester was a town, Sherando's 4A or 5A? They were supposed to move up to 5, but they stayed 4A. Well, it protested, or whatever last year.
Speaker 3:Well, they're getting a new Frederick County school so they might end up dropping them and Wood to three.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that could shake everything up that building the new school. But, chris, we'll move on here. Let's get on to this. Tomorrow's games. Actually. So Friday you got Millbrook versus Heritage, kettle Run against Meridian that should be, we'll see how that one turns out and James Woods playing Dominion, and you got Brentsville we can't forget about them Plays Briar Woods and Hanley plays Liberty. So that's the upcoming area games. And then you got hold on. I forgot Central plays East Rock, strasburg's playing Broadway, clark County's playing Fort Defiance, and then moving on, did I mention Sharando or did I miss them? They play Loudoun County. Yeah, on Thursday night they played, miss them, they played Loudoun.
Speaker 3:County. Yeah, on Thursday night they played.
Speaker 2:They played Loudoun County, so that could tell us. Because what Millbrook just lost to Loudoun County, right.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they lost to Loudoun County. Sherando plays them tomorrow. Yeah, so that could give us Where's that game at.
Speaker 2:Shoot. I think it's in Loudoun County. Let me double check, though it is. It is yes, it's in loudon county. Yep, that's where it's at. So what do you say?
Speaker 3:Falkier, who put up 62 points. Yeah, I mentioned Falkier, I mentioned them. They have a bye week this week, right?
Speaker 2:Yeah, so teams that got bye weeks are Falkier, warren County and Skyline.
Speaker 3:It's so loud in week two.
Speaker 2:Already they got a bye. But then, moving on to West Virginia. Real quick the Eastern Panhandle, martinsburgs playing Huntington, jefferson plays Morgantown, musselman plays Loudon Valley, washington plays Hedgesville, spring Mills plays William Park and East Hardy plays Pendleton County. So that should wrap up your high school sports. Who's going to win states?
Speaker 3:I have no idea. It's too early. There's a lot of other schools out there that's not in our hometown area.
Speaker 2:Well, you asked for the rankings right in the state, so I got that for you. It's just a whole damn state, all right, I got that for you. It's just the whole damn state, All right. So Phoebus, who won it last year, is class, and Hanley is ranked second in the whole state. In the whole state. Yeah, Can you turn off your phone please? So what do you think?
Speaker 1:I mean, I don't know who all is out there, that's good this year, so you gotta learn.
Speaker 3:They had to learn chris. They played one game. Some teams haven't even played a game, so I don't know yet. It's not like the nfl where they have a bulk of their team, their players, coming back right yeah. So I'm not picking hanley to get there. That'd be dope if they do, but I'm not gonna pick them.
Speaker 2:Shirando, good and strawsburg could get there for their for double a when the area I'll just say that surprise team to already mention james wood, I feel is shirando is usually always competitive, like every year, they, they, just every year they're, you know, a team to reckon with. And then so James Woods will be my surprise. I think they're going to make some noise and shock some people this year. And then in West Virginia and Eastern Panhandle I think it's spring mills year I think they're going to go to states At least make it to states. I think Martinsburg they're going to knock them out. So that's my early season prediction for right now for high school. But moving on, we'll get into our main topics. Chris wanted to talk about Trump and his bullshit going on. There's tariffs and ICE and all that.
Speaker 3:So, chris, I'll let you kick it off with this well, the tariffs is just making everything more expensive by the day, which is ridiculous. What's happening? And a lot of countries aren't really fucking with the us right now, and that makes sense, because they're getting charged an arm and a leg to try to, you know, get things over to us and they're like well, we don't need that money.
Speaker 3:But the main thing that is bothering me is how he's showing the truth about how most of our politicians like 95 percent of them have been bought by AIPAC, which is Israel, and they've given them all that money and they have blackmail on so many of them that they're doing any and everything Israel, and basically Netanyahu, says to do. So. Now you can't boycott Israel, which is not even the US, it's a whole other country. You can't boycott them dumbasses for doing genocide and everything else, or you get arrested, you get locked up, you get slammed on the ground by the police and the military and they now have like florida and now has license plates with israel on it. That's a whole another country. You have the flag being hung up in schools in california, out there in hollywood or whatever, and now they're you know, they're making it all a part of the school system to get kids used to seeing that flag and shit everywhere, because they run our country and I guess it's been happening for a long time, which is why jfk was killed and stuff. We don't have to get into all of it, people can do their own research. But yeah, man, it's. It's just a sad, sad world that we live in and now the us is really everybody's finally being able to see, due to social media and shit, how real it is.
Speaker 3:9-11 happened because of all of it, and here we are today where if you call out genocide and killing innocent people, especially all those little kids, you, you get locked up or arrested, maced in the face and and slammed on the ground. It happens every single day, in every city in this country. It's happening in Germany and other countries too, where they're just like yo, you guys are either going to fuck with Israel or you're going to get fucked up. Right, it is. It's crazy. People used to be like, oh, it's conspiracy, it's a conspiracy because people don't want you to know the truth. It's the truth, it's the reality. How can you, how can you be like, oh, but you're, you're against israel? It's a call being for humanity, and nobody should be for kids and innocent people getting killed and bombed and everything else and having any justification for it.
Speaker 2:There is none no, not, I totally agree, not at all. So that leads me to Trump what he's talking about. If there's a war, there's no election right?
Speaker 3:Well, he wants there to be a war when the so-called elections happen. So there can't be elections. But that's all smoke and mirrors, man, because the presidents are handpicked. All of them besides JFK, and since JFK, have went to Israel and kissed that dumb ass wall. They have over there and done all these rituals and stuff, including Obama, who was also smoking mirrors to give us as a people oh, finally, not the old white man the country's used to. We got a brother would look at his name. Obama is Barack Obama and he's got care. He's charismatic and he's good looking, and this and that man. He's charismatic and he's good looking, and this and that man. He's the same way too. He's ran by Israel and he sleeps with little kids and he likes guys.
Speaker 3:It's all so weird what happens. And everybody's like, oh, he's the postal child. No, he didn't do a damn thing good for us either. And I'm tired of hearing people be like oh, republicans and Democrats, this, and that they're left and the right, wake up, they're all on the same side, they're all friends. They all go to lunch after they tell us all that bullshit and act like they're fighting for other things. They don't give two fucks about the American people. That's why I don't understand why they continue to do what they want. They divide us. They make us fight because all red blue Republican Democrat this and that no. Make us fight because all red blue republican democrat this and that no.
Speaker 2:we should all be on the same side of and fighting for what's right, because the people that's in office that run the show they don't give two fucks about us.
Speaker 3:I totally agree and my thing is they're not in local offices.
Speaker 2:I mean like the big you know what I mean in congress and everything else right, right, and I agree with you that, hey, they're, they're all buddies, all of this Republican Democrat, whatever party you're affiliated with, if any, it's there just to divide us as a country. You know it's like, oh, you're picking sides and this and that, but they're all corrupt. I'm with you. Let's get into Trump. Let's talk about ICE. I was just up in New York last week with you. The ICE and the military being deployed also to big cities. I know you mentioned earlier when we were talking that Trump's putting the you know, the national guard.
Speaker 3:he's in the national guard to where, uh, what all black mayors are cities, all the cities that they've been deployed at so far have black mayors washington dc, right here in new york, chicago and oakland. They, they all have black mayors and run those cities.
Speaker 2:Now, that's not a coincidence that that's happening right, right, oh it's, it's just crazy blue states and and cities right, yeah, right, but then she went about losing my train of thought here. Uh, also about the red states, the Republican states. He's not doing anything to those states. No, hell, no, none of them.
Speaker 3:He already has them on his side.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, More among the other states.
Speaker 3:It's more about getting rid of black and brown people, which is why ICE is going after all the Hispanics, but they don't go after foreign people that are fair skinned. You know what I mean? I wouldn't.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I want somebody to come up what German or Italian or who's been deported?
Speaker 3:They're not snatching them up. They're snatching Hispanic people left and right and ripping them away from their kids in front of them. I've seen them grab and yank up a little girl the other day, who was like four or five years old, while they took her dad from her. Wow, you did, yeah, and that's just ridiculous. Not in real life, because I would have probably gotten to a big fight or got arrested by them because I would have jumped in.
Speaker 2:Oh, you saw it on a video arrested by because I would have jumped in.
Speaker 3:You saw it on a video. It's ridiculous all this stuff happening. Then we can talk about the ICE. Like we're saying, they have open calls, basically for people to join ICE and they hire any and everybody. There's no training, they give them a mask and say cover up and just go snatch people up.
Speaker 2:That's the thing. It's like us as a people. What about staying up for everybody? You know, like people would just pull up the phone.
Speaker 3:People talk about this, I do this, I do that, tony, and then they won't. When it starts happening in front of people's eyes, it's going to be too late.
Speaker 2:Mm, hmm, oh, I'm with you and it's going to happen, Right? Well, it's already happening in your backyard there in New York. I live an hour from DC. They'll come right in here.
Speaker 3:They have the military deployed there too. The military took an oath to protect and support the people, but they're all breaking the Constitution.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was going to say we're going to get into that right.
Speaker 3:Yeah, there is no First Amendment, no more. There's no freedom of speech, there's no freedom of press. He's getting rid of all that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, well, he's got. I saw something on some guy. I can't remember the guy's name. I suppose they got a team to get. Basically, they're just trying. I said it, lamar his show. They're basically going to rewrite the Constitution.
Speaker 3:He's doing what he wants.
Speaker 2:And, sadly, what I don't get. To me it boils down to, also in DC, everybody in office, whatever the Congress and all of it. Why does nobody step up and it's like they're just letting him do it?
Speaker 3:I don't get it it's because they all, the people that are in positions of power are all bought off by israel and apex, so they all listen and do that and they have blackmail videos on all of them because they're all involved in the epstein files right, which is going on right now, where there's women that are victims of donald trump, epstein and tom hanks and all these other people, and they're starting to call them out and speak up.
Speaker 3:An attorney ran out of the courtroom yesterday when she was listening to live testimonies from some of these survivors and, end of the day, trump and them don't want release the epstein files, right and I see I see some comments, man, and mostly on facebook and instagram and stuff, but people that are maggot supporters or whatever, man, I don't care about all that shit.
Speaker 3:You're like oh, he's definitely not there, but bill clinton and them are. No, they all are like if you think trump isn't, you're fucking, you're delusional right, right, he's been love little kids and little girls.
Speaker 3:He said he would screw his own daughter when his daughter was a baby and live tv. So what do you think? He's a weirdo and that's just the truth to it. All of those people are a lot of people we looked up to are involved too. I'll be honest about it. From jay-z to tom hanks. Those guys are involved and I want them to all get called out. It sucks. I love tom hanks movies. I love jay-z's music growing up. They're fucking weirdos. Then they need to get caught and called out too. Man, that guy's just the truth, but right, because they have so much money and power between all of them that it's hard for them to be called down because it's going to bring down kings, popes, all kind of royal families and everything.
Speaker 2:Well, what I'll say is you know, trump, we'll put this out to you. Why is your wife still in the country?
Speaker 3:Talking about ICE again, right, yeah, he and his family aren't really from here. And then her citizenship.
Speaker 2:She was born in Yugoslavia, okay.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I only heard of that because of an.
Speaker 3:NBA player back in the day, I think, for the Bulls.
Speaker 2:Turn it to Goats.
Speaker 3:I'm a people person. I love people. I don't care where people are from.
Speaker 2:I hate all that shit's happening, but you can't sit there and say get rid of all these people.
Speaker 3:But yet you don't get rid of your own wife. Well, they're not from here.
Speaker 2:Right. The thing is, none of us are. When you break it down, none of us, it's all stolen. It's all stolen land, the only ones originally from here. You could say it was the Indians and the Mexicans, and the Indians and stuff this is their land.
Speaker 3:This is not white people's land, dude. It was stolen. And now, because this whole country is created off genocide, I understand why so many of y'all support Trump and that bullshit is not real and all the bombing and killing over there Talking about, oh, hamas started it in October 7, 2023. No, they didn't. And there's a whole lot of stuff y'all need to get into and research. Man Netanyahu paid them off through a country called Qatar because they're the enemy, so he couldn't do it on his own and show people oh, I'm helping the enemy. They started all that. He told his people to fall back from the borders the day that all that stuff happened, on October 7th. Well, if you've been oppressed and kicked out of your land and bombed and killed, for what was it Since 1947 when they first started doing that, you don't think there's eventually going to be people that fight back? Right, and it's still happening, man.
Speaker 2:The thing is, is there's wars going on? It's been going on for hundreds of years like nonstop, like Desert Storm was the kickoff, like it's been going on all the time. We're always in a conflict, the US is always in a conflict, you, the us, is always in a conflict, but all those conflicts in the middle east are because of israel.
Speaker 3:They want it. Israel is basically just a military base for the usa in the middle east so that we can control that region and take all their land and resources. That's what they're doing and that's not. They're trying to do it. They're doing it but all of a sudden, in the last two years, it's really ramped up and it's happening on social media for all of us to witness and there's nothing people can do about it.
Speaker 3:Right now there's the biggest flotilla ever where, from barcelona, spain, on the 31st, on sunday, 50 ships from 44 countries left to go break the siege in gaza and try to help with humanitarian aid and everything else. In the past two months, or whatever, one ship went each month and they both got taken over by Israel. They jumped on the ships, they held them hostages, they beat some of them up, this and that. Well, now there's 50 ships from 44 countries and they're on their way over there. Israel knows they're watching them with drones and shit, but that's a lot more boats and people to deal with. Knows they're watching them with drones and shit, but that's a lot more boats and people to deal with and they're not going over there with weapons or anything, though they're going over there with like baby formula and flour and things to help correct, and that's that's breaking international law by israel doing that and stopping them from going over there, but they continue to do it.
Speaker 3:The reason nobody does anything is because israel and usa are one and USA has their back. The USA has over 200 military bases worldwide. Nobody else has more than like five or six. That's ridiculous. Right, exactly the USA is just a bunch of bullies, and I don't give a fuck. I know people in the military. I ain't got nothing wrong with y'all. But if you were part of that and you're down with it, and the fuck you too. That's real. You're going to go against your own people and you'll be brainwashed.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry. Well, I don't know if I'll go that far. We do need the military there to defend our country, but the thing is, it's just being.
Speaker 3:The only people that win in war are the big bankers.
Speaker 2:Well, the thing is because you still need a military to defend. What I'm getting at is we are using our country. Oh yeah, I totally agree.
Speaker 3:I agree. They're going to protect our country and protect it. When's the last time you saw somebody come over here and try to fuck with us? They don't, and don't say 9-11, because that was us. Oh yes, that's Israel and USA all in it together to make it look like they came out with the biggest surveillance ever. And things haven't been the same. With cameras everywhere, surveillance everywhere.
Speaker 2:Well, that changed the world. The 9-11, COVID we can get it all, changed everything. Yeah, so much stuff how we live, but it's all control. Yeah, so much stuff how we live, but it's all control. It's all to control us as a people. Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 3:But yeah, it controls on everything dude. They filter out videos. When I share videos on Instagram and stuff, they filter it out.
Speaker 2:Yeah, speak of that. You've been bad. You've been bad Now. How can you get bad Now? How?
Speaker 3:can you get banned? What did you get banned from? I got kicked off Instagram twice in the past year for sharing videos of guys being bombed and little kids being decapitated and everything else Right. But the thing is to me you're sharing it's because it's going against them and they control meta and everything else, so they control all that Right. It's bigger than you think, man, they really control everything.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, no doubt they try to make people think oh, russian challenge, Russian challenge, it ain't never been Russian challenge been fucking with us. Yes, they use them to throw off who it really is, which is Israel. Right, right, anything else you want to speak on about all that?
Speaker 2:No, I mean the thing is I guess we got to move on. You know we've been talking about this for what? 15, almost 20 minutes. I mean the thing is like I'm with you. It's like people need to do research. You know, to me, people, just when elections come around, they vote just because their father or their mother was a Democrat or Republican. They just follow suit, not looking into anything, voting for the right person. People do your research, especially when it comes to voting because elections are coming up again. Do your research. I don't get it. I'll say it just like this. I don't get the fascination of Trump whatsoever. He's an evil man To me. You're a little bit evil inside. You support that man.
Speaker 3:He's good for the racist old white people that want to support America.
Speaker 2:He is exposed. We'll leave it at this. He is exposed. White America Put it that this he is exposed. White America put it that like it made it fine and made it OK for them to come out and say anything. I mean, the fucking dude's a felon. Our president is a felon.
Speaker 3:Multiple time felon.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and so you've done. Open the floodgates for everything. Don't check nobody's background anymore applying for a job nothing, Because if you've got the US president and he's in office at the highest position in this country, then don't go check somebody's background at McDonald's or something and not give them the freaking job.
Speaker 3:Yeah, they can't worry about people with one-time felons and this and that getting jobs, and they'll be like, nope, nope, because you're a felon, but yet they should change all that then, because you can be the president Right. So why can't you work at McDonald's?
Speaker 2:So, kid, there's your goal. I'm joking. So, Chris, all right, we'll leave this alone, We'll move on. Got to keep the show within an hour. Got my Cowboys coming on later. Get ready for that. So let's jump right into speaking of the Cowboys. Let's jump into this Micah Parsons trade and your thoughts on this, or do you want me to start?
Speaker 3:I'm just glad he's not in Dallas. I don't like Dallas and that's the only team in sports I don't like, so I'm cool that he's not there. I wish he would have came to us honestly, but obviously that would be stupid for Jerry to trade with one of the divisional teams.
Speaker 1:But he's still in the conference.
Speaker 3:He's over there with J-Lo and Green Bay so we'll see man. He went to college in Wisconsin so he might be up there and ready. And you said he might not play. He's definitely playing. I saw him on the TV show earlier today. He's playing. He's out there crushing it.
Speaker 2:You think he's going to play? Yeah, definitely Well we'll see.
Speaker 3:We will see. I know one thing he's not playing tonight and he's not playing in jail, I know.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was going to say, I was like I know one thing he's not playing for the Cowboys.
Speaker 3:But anyway I'll get my you guys kicked the season off tonight, so enjoy that. Saquon's going to run all over y'all, but still enjoy it.
Speaker 2:But I'll say this, I'll describe the trade because the Packers, the Cowboys, traded him for pro bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Dallas from Green Bay and two first round picks for Micah Parsons. So that's what Dallas got. So of course, me being a Dallas fan, like everybody, I wanted him to sign Micah. But now you sit back and think about it. Maybe we did come out ahead. I mean, we'll see. The only way we'll see you win this trade is if Parsons goes to Green Bay. They win the Super Bowl. Then everybody's going to be like, oh, the Packers won that trade. But the only way we're going to be able to tell is in the future whatallas does. But that's what all you know.
Speaker 3:Yeah, for you that don't know to me. He's 26 years young. He's a four-time all pro. In his first four years he's had over 10 sacks his first four seasons in the league. And the only other person to do that was reggie white, the all-time greatest lineman I. I think it's dumb. I'm glad they did it because, fuck Dallas, jerry Jones is a slave owner.
Speaker 2:My thing is I'm trying to be optimistic, I go back to it.
Speaker 2:As you're a Dallas fan, I get it I started thinking I'm like well shit, the last time we traded our best player, it worked out Herschel Walker. And a couple years later, look, we dominated the early 90s. We drafted Emmitt Smith, troy Aikman, michael Irvin and we ended up with a lot of drafts. So I don't know, we'll see, and I think ultimately, I think Jerry, whatever, micah it got personal. That's why he got rid of him. Micah's on the sideline eating nachos and sleeping during a freeze-up.
Speaker 3:It's not going to work because you're an owner.
Speaker 2:Hey, I'm on it, going too. I've said we're not going to win until we win, he's not going anywhere. I'm just trying to be optimistic, I think the thing is. I'm just saying, I think, what Jerry's plan is now, or whoever they want to get Arch Manning in the future, their future, their franchise quarterback.
Speaker 3:He didn't do too well on last Saturday. He didn't, but I think that First game but still he didn't look too good.
Speaker 2:I think that's what ultimately they want to try to get Arch Manning, you know, because Dak's what? 10th going to 11th year, whatever. So they're looking for the future. So I think that's where we're at with that trade To me. Yeah, was it dumb? Like you said, he's 26 years old. Yeah, that's crazy. The best passer in the league, if not the best. Yeah, well, like you said, he's 26 years old. Yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 3:The best passer in the league, if not the best you know, I put Miles Garrett up there too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'll take Garrett and TJ Watt before him, but that's it. Yeah, but if we wanted to win, our defense wouldn't even really that great. Anyway, we couldn't stop the run. I'll say Parsons wasn't great at the fucking run. We couldn't stop the run. I'll say Parsons wasn't great at the fucking run. He's a pass rusher. He wasn't the best, but we'll see. I don't know. We'll see how this all plays out. I don't know. Like I said, we got the Eagles tonight. We'll see how this plays out. And that's where I'm at with that.
Speaker 3:So I just got to go with the flow so before we jump off here, bro, let's do some playoff team predictions the 7 from the NFC and the 7 from the AFC yep, we'll do that.
Speaker 2:we'll jump into that. Do you want to go first or do you want me to go first? Yeah, you can kick it off. You want me to kick it off? Alright, so we'll talk NFL. We'll come back to this episode at the end of the season. We've got to remember. So we'll give our preseason predictions who we feel is going to make the playoffs. I'll start with the NFC. So I got Philly winning the division in the East. I got Green Bay winning the division Tampa again. You know, I was kind of leaning towards Atlanta. I think they might make some noise, but I went Tampa and then the Rams to win the West and my wildcard teams will be Washington, Detroit and the 49ers in the NFC Nice.
Speaker 1:NFC.
Speaker 2:So you go ahead. Who's yours?
Speaker 3:Four division winners. Four division winners definitely Washington, green, bay, tampa Bay and Arizona. And then the three wild card teams Philly, detroit and Atlanta.
Speaker 2:Okay, see, so you did put Atlanta in there.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I like Michael.
Speaker 2:Penix. I'm not mad at that. I feel Atlanta could make some noise this year.
Speaker 3:Kyle Pitts needs to step up to the guy. Everybody thought he was going to be coming out of Florida.
Speaker 2:He's a big monster. What season is he going into? I think this is his fifth, fifth, sixth season and he's got like six catches his whole career.
Speaker 3:He's definitely not what we all thought he would be. Look, we got some comments from they got. Bajon Robinson.
Speaker 2:Hold on, chris. We got comments from Stuntman Mikey. He's like commanders are going to the playoffs, yeah he knows what he's talking about. So Stuntman Mikey's on a post-rhetoric podcast. So yeah, let's get some comments in here, people, I can see your comments. So, chris, where you at you done left Lord, so I'm all by myself. So, people, I'll give you my AFC picks. All right, I got Buffalo, baltimore, texans and Chargers winning their respective divisions and wild card. I got Chiefs, steel, Steelers and Broncos, and Chris is back.
Speaker 3:What happened bro?
Speaker 2:I think it was too much Dallas talking and my shit went off.
Speaker 1:I had to keep it moving.
Speaker 2:I'll read them back to you. I gave my AFC picks so I got Buffalo winning the division again. Baltimore Texans Chargers which people are probably shocked. I think Harbaugh is going to do this with San Diego. And then my wild cards is Chiefs still make it, but as a wild card, steelers and Broncos.
Speaker 3:So we only have a few different teams, because I have buffalo, baltimore, houston, kansas city, all winning their divisions, and then cincinnati, pittsburgh and new england making the page. Uh, the playoffs as well new england.
Speaker 2:Really see, I can see cincinnati, but I just don't like cincinnati's defense. Still, I think that's going to hurt him again.
Speaker 3:Washington, we made sure we got McLaurin. Cincinnati made sure they kept their defensive horse in Henderson. We'll see those two teams look like they're going to be in the playoffs and I have both of them going to their championship games. Who's that? Cincinnati and Ravens in the AFC to the championship, with Baltimore winning that Lamar finally getting over the hump, and Washington and Green Bay in the NFC, ooh, ooh, I want it to be about. I'll be honest, I got to think about it.
Speaker 2:Lamar and Jaden, that's what you were saying. You just went that Beltway Super Bowl.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but they're both really good teams. The Ravens got to get over that hump. Like we're not expected, I got a lot of people that I've seen professional analysts, picking us to miss the playoffs and that's cool, that's pressure on us. But the Ravens, man, they got a squad. They got to get there, man.
Speaker 2:Well off the top Rip. I like the Rams coming down to the NFC.
Speaker 3:I didn't even pick them to make the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2:Look how close they were to beating Philadelphia last year. They were away from beating in Philly. They would have won that game. If it wasn't for the weather. They would have won that game as long as Stafford can stay healthy. They added Devontae Adams to the mix. They got Puka Nakua. That's a scary team. I got the Rams and then I got a feeling Buffalo's going to the Super Bowl. I got Rams and Bills.
Speaker 3:Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson MVPs and Lamar's multiple-time MVP winners, but they haven't made it, neither one of them to the Super Bowl. Cool, joe Burrow has once, and then it's been Mahomes Right. Mahomes has been to like six of the last seven Super Bowomes Right, yeah, mahomes has been to like six of the last seven Super Bowls. That's crazy.
Speaker 2:I think I feel the Chiefs are going to have. I mean, I'm not going to say they're still going to make the play, but I just don't think they're going to be the same. I don't think they make it back. I think they can knock out early in the playoff.
Speaker 3:What did they lose to make you feel like that? Because they have Mahomes, they have Kelsey, they have all those guys. It's just my gut feeling. They still got Chris.
Speaker 2:Jones on defense. Yeah, I mean they still got all the you know, even Pacheco's coming back healthy, yeah. But I just feel it's going to be where I think teams are catching up, like look, I mean the Chargers. You know they got hard turning that around. I mean the Raiders could be good, honestly, you know, with their there's a team that couldn't be good but the Chiefs.
Speaker 3:I mean that whole division.
Speaker 2:And then, who am I missing? I said Broncos, with, you know, coming up. So their division itself is going to be tough, tough. I don't think they've walked through their division like they have. Their division alone is probably, it could be argued as the toughest division in football right now. One of them I wouldn't say that, but I feel you, I mean we'll see. I mean I really like that division. I mean I really like that division. I mean you got all them coaches, the head coaches, turning them around, and then hell, of course, it's always Baltimore, pittsburgh, cincy and the Browns. We'll just leave it at that. I think Cleveland's just still Cleveland.
Speaker 3:That's what they get for moving there in the middle of the night.
Speaker 2:Right, well, that's true. Actually, that was the Colts.
Speaker 3:My bad, that was the Colts. They moved out of Baltimore in the middle of the night.
Speaker 2:Well, no, because it was at Art Modell. They moved the Browns to become the Ravens.
Speaker 3:In the middle of the night.
Speaker 2:And what was messed up is they erased it. They didn't want the history of the Ravens In the middle of the night. And what was messed up is they erased it. They didn't want the history of the Browns, nothing. They just wanted a clean slate.
Speaker 3:Which is wild, because they've won a lot. Back then with Jim Brown and everybody they was crushing, I think that's the first franchise ever to move.
Speaker 2:And then they're like just start all new history books, a whole new franchise. Because what the Titans still honor, their Houston Oilers records, yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but that's our preseason projections. You got MVP or defense player of the year projections.
Speaker 2:What's funny is I like Joe Burrow, but if he don't make the playoffs, they're not going to give him MVP, because he had an MVP caliber season last year and I think that's what hurt him is because they didn't make the playoffs. So by my predictions and who's making the playoffs I'd have to go. Maybe I'm thinking Lamar gets another one.
Speaker 3:Well, he's got three already.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think, or that would be my pick. I think it would be Lamar, because I got them in the playoffs and Josh Allen won last year right. Yeah.
Speaker 3:I believe so.
Speaker 2:Yep, yep. So I mean he very well could. But I think Lamar gets one Again. I think he has a killer year and we'll see. I don't know, you might be right, baltimore might make it. We'll see. Yeah, they got to get over that hump man Well we're going to jump off here everybody, but I got a few announcements. What is it? We got an event going on here in town. It's Andy Vipperman, right, yeah, tomorrow night. It's tomorrow night because let me find it real quick.
Speaker 3:You getting tired there? Yeah, always tired nowadays.
Speaker 2:Yes, so it's the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Use Coalition. So Andy Vimmerman will be a guest speaker at that, and you said that that's tomorrow.
Speaker 3:Yeah, talking about addiction. What's the time frame for?
Speaker 2:that it starts at the Valley Health Center, the Valley Health Cancer Center. I'm sorry that's at the Winchester Hospital. It starts at it's from 4 to 9. So it's called the Addicted to Hope Rally. We'll be going on.
Speaker 3:Y'all better get over there early before them. Friday night lights come on.
Speaker 2:Right man, what bad timing.
Speaker 3:Well, I get it.
Speaker 2:Some people don't think about it like that.
Speaker 3:But, yeah, that's a rough day to choose, right.
Speaker 2:But yeah, I wanted to give that out. You know, put that out there. Local things going on. And then, like I say, carl Rush will get on sometime. We'll definitely have him on in the upcoming weeks, but next Thursday we got Brian Pierce Gonzalez joining us. Bpg, that's it. We got BPG joining us. They said that should be pretty interesting. I know he'll probably get in the ice and all that. He'll talk everything, I'm sure. So, and then what's going on locally? So, hey, stuntman, mike appreciate it. And then, of course, mike, course Mike's like looking at the question, where's the rest of BW open? Well, let's just say it's just me and Chris.
Speaker 3:now, we're just leaving it there from Trump and Ice and wanting to build a real studio and stuff. It's kind of, you know, scared the other guys away. It is what it is, it's fine. Still got nothing but love for him and we're going to keep it moving, though.
Speaker 2:Yep, you're right, me and Chris, we're motivated, we're going to keep it moving and that's one thing we can announce. It's like, hey, we're looking for sponsorships. I'm trying to put together sponsorship packages for people to sponsor. So we appreciate all the support. Everybody subscribing. It's a lot of love out there for us. So, chris, we'll jump off here. You enjoy the football game tonight. The big Dallas win that's going to happen tonight. Make sure your fantasy lineups are set. Everyone and Chris, I'll holler at you Shit. Well, probably shortly after this. All right, man, we're safe.
Speaker 3:Have a blessed night. Let's go Washington.
Speaker 2:Yeah, whatever, we're ending on that note. All right, chris, I'll talk to you later, bro.
Speaker 1:All right, everybody, peace. Have a good weekend, we'll be right back. Outro Music.
