Speaker 1:

This is the surgery, this is your servers moment. Every moment is a part of a survivor's journey and we hope this moment will be motivational for you for your journey of serving your customers, your coworkers, or your family. I'm jeff lengthen and here today's servers moment. Make no mistake about it. You are getting ready to go into battle,

Speaker 2:

so here's something you can do to be a better server today. The ability to read others does not come naturally to some people figuring out how to navigate an interaction with someone in order to quickly create a momentary rapport with them. Takes a keen eye and under 10 of year to do this. Listen for nonverbal cues. When speaking with someone. This can really help when trying to engage the appropriate time to make a joke or bring up a certain topic. In conversation. I found this really helpful. Been working with clients over the phone in the IT field. Listening to the tone in someone's voice can allow you to determine just how receptive they will be to your input and also whether a rapport of familiarity can be established for future conversations. For instance, sometimes they get to get out from behind a desk and go work in the field. When I enter a client's office, they immediately identify my voice and recognize me as, Hey, jeff, and then it allows me to have that in with them and to work with them on more of a personal level and they're more familiar with me than somebody they'd normally would not know. Creating conversations, even if for a moment, can establish positive report and longterm relationships.

Speaker 3:
