This is your servers moment, every moment is a part of a survivor's journey and we hope this moment will be motivational for you, for your journey of serving your customers, your coworkers, or your family. Alright, so this morning we're going to talk a little bit about allowing employees to exhibit empowered behaviors. So here's the reality. When you honor them and you let them know that they are really empowered, you'll find that they begin to give more energy, more commitment, more creativity, and heck, they'll just have a lot more fun. The list of rewards is endless when you allow employees to be empowered. So let's talk about empowerment. What does that mean? Well, it's really a kind of a form of ownership and that's the highest praise that you can give a team member and it's really the team member you want because somebody who's empowered is actually putting in their own volunteer time to figure out solutions to problems. And in the end, the employer won't have to figure out those problems because most of these empowered team members will come with a problem and a solution. Remember, once a team members, basic needs are met, they move right, they shipped, and they begin to look for significance, and if they're allowed to be empowered, well then that's just the icing on the cake. And as servant leaders, it is our job to invest in the team and to create an environment where employees are allowed and feel empowered. So today, as you're working, as you're spending time with your team, I want you to find three to five ways to reinforce employee who are acting in power today. And that's it.
