Get honest about what drains you. Your time. Your money. Your emotional labor. Your peace. Clarity is power. You cannot fix everyone. You cannot rescue everyone. You cannot be the emotional first responder for adults who refuse to carry their own weight. Do not keep giving to people who keep taking. Choose reciprocity. Invest your best energy in people who pour back, listen well, and honor your space.
