Bukar and Halimah lived with their children in Nguro Soye, a community in the Bama area of Borno, before the insurgency broke out in Northeast Nigeria. But when the terrorists arrived on the scene, they brought a lot of trouble with them, and the family decided to flee alongside other residents.
Not long after their displacement, Bukar went missing. Over seven years later, Halimah and their six children are still waiting. Still looking for answers.
