What up, what up, what up? It's your boy Young Dub, stepping with Onk Sports back. It's been a while. I know I keep procrastinating again. Supposed to do this joint, bro. A minute ago. I don't know what happened, man. I ain't really been tuned in like I should be, but we here, we here. What's up, Brody? What's up, Brody? You already know, man. It's my boy Feek. You know what I'm saying? Recurring, recurring, recurring guess, especially on the sports tip. Um, got in here tonight. We gonna tap it. We're gonna tap in, bust it up about some sports. Um, what you've been tuned into lately, bro. What you been what you've been checking out? Uh I don't really oh, you know what? I was watching the college games. I do be tapped into them. I don't really watch them, but I'll be watching it with my cousin. He'll be watching all them, John. I don't really watch college basketball like that. I'm not really I think it's because it's too slow for me. I think they just run too many plays and all that. But it's been cool. It's been cool lately, though. I've been uh same. Uh I've been trying to tune into them. Uh I actually went to the game a couple days ago on Sunday. On Sunday. Last minute, John. Um, yeah, we got there for the uh Tennessee versus Virginia game. We've seen like half of that. And then we went there for the next game. Um who was playing? I forgot UCLA and uh UConn that night, which was a good atmosphere. It was cool. I never I've been to a college game before, but I've never been to uh March Madness. March Madness. That was a great experience, yeah. Oh yeah. First time for everything. Um I ain't never been to one of them ones either, though. Yeah, yeah. I always go to the NBA once. I just never been to a uh what's saying college one. Yeah, anytime I went to a college drones project, I knew somebody, just some support type drone, but not because I was like, yo, I wanna go to the Penn State game or nothing like that. Nah, nah, yeah. I did like St. Joe's back in the day though, when they had Jameer, Mir Mirror, and uh Delante West. Oh, we was young though. Yeah, that's my first time tuning in. Yeah, we was young. I remember them. Yeah, we was young. Yeah. I don't think Suns though, which was Suns have been looking like, man. Uh man, we've been we were injured. Like we can't get out that seventh spot. We've been in the seventh spot the whole year, we just can't get out of it. Like every time we was doing good, we we was on a four-game win streak like uh two weeks ago. Then last week we was on his, we went zero and five. We just won the other night, though. But I was just like, every time we tried to get up to that notch where we can get to a six seed, but we really couldn't do it. But you know who you know who I want to play though? I want to play San Antonio though. If we stay in that seventh spot, I want to play them though. I feel like we can, I feel like we can be, I feel like we can beat. I mean, they they will be favored to win, they will win, but I feel like we can beat them because I feel like we be matching up. Like the last game, when we hit that last game winning shot, I was like, yeah, I ain't they don't really put no fear in me though. I don't fear San Antonio at all. I don't fear San Antonio, I don't fear, I don't fear the Lakers, I don't fear um, I don't fear Houston either. Uh to be to be honest, I really don't fear none of them teams for I feel like if you get in and you get hot, it's it's a wreck. So I don't really fear nobody for real. Nobody, except for the NBA and OKC. They the only team I might fear because the referees be cheating. Can't tell me, can't tell me nothing else, bro. Y'all been watching basketball all my life. You can't tell me Lou Dorton out there playing like Lou Keekly, and and you could you can you can hit they can hand check us and do all this, but we can't touch them. You can't tell me that's what I'm saying. Bro, they be like Lou Dorton play defense, he don't play no defense. That boy out there fighting people, punching people, and all that, slide with his shoulders and everything. I don't like watching them play all. I don't like watching them play all. I don't care what nobody said, call me a hater or some of these young some of these youngers don't even know. Like before OKC was hot, y'all just start getting on that bandwagon. But before OKC was hot, before anybody was OKC fan, I was an OKC fan. I know how it was from the, you know what I'm saying, from the ground up. Y'all just start getting there yeah before y'all start, when y'all start winning and all that. Like I was there when KD going to five straight, five going to five Western conference finals, put breaking his foot, Westbrook getting injured a year, the year after that. Like, I've been like these new fans, I don't pay no mind. Like y'all, yeah, I don't pay y'all no mind. Yeah, and everybody's everybody's a Shea fan, but come on, bro. Yeah, I wasn't no Shea fan when he was in Clippers with the with the Mohawk. Come on, bro. No, okay. I looked at the nigga like he was crazy. Same here. Yeah, you know, leak is steady, steady going and moving around. Um, okay. Still number one for now. Um, yeah, but they're not unbeatable. Uh, I seen like the Spurs match up with them very well. Yeah, you know why the Spurs. I seen that early on too. You know why the Spurs match up with them? Because as soon as you go past somebody with me right there, they they don't even got to switch nothing, they don't gotta do nothing. He already knows. If somebody gets beat, I'm going, I'm getting off my man and I'm stepping, I'm stepping up to the shooter. So they got that's a that's a good advantage for the Spurs. I do say that they do match up well with them, though. They definitely do. They definitely do. The Nuggets do too, but for some reason the Nuggets just every time it's the fourth quarter, I don't know what happened with them. They just get little little antsy. I don't know what they're doing. Yeah, because you know who beat the key? Aaron Gordon beat the key. They was the last game they played. Aaron Gordon had like 20 in the first quarter, and then they stopped going to him. I didn't understand that. Like they stopped going to him. He had 20 in the first quarter. Like, yeah, so he the he really the X Factor for if they if they play each other. He had 20 in the first quarter because they just kept feeding them down low. Like they kept getting the switch and Shay was on him. He down there dunking it, laying up. He gets Shay on him or one of them other little guards. Yeah. What Denver, like number four in the West? Denver number four, yep. Yeah, the Lakers is three right now. They're on the high streak. The Lakers is on the high streak. They just lost to the Pistons yesterday with Arcade. They lost. They lost, yeah. Yep, they lost. It was nine in a row, then they finally lost. Not in a row, yeah. But you know, the Pistons physical, though. It's uh it's only two teams that I watch. I watch Pistons and I watch Phoenix. So I but the Pistons, they physical. They play like the the old Pistons from back in the day. They play like that. It's just it's just in the city of Detroit to play like that or something. Yeah, they play like the bad, they play like the bad boys for for sure. They play like that. You know, be calling out their plays too. LeBron was calling out LeBron's calling, you know, LeBron's so LeBron's so I hate LeBron, but he's so fucking smart, yo. He was calling out all the plays. He know every play that because they they run it, all they still running the same shit from the 90s. It's just a cycle. Yeah, they just be running the same shit. Sometimes coaches, coach, yeah, coaches don't be like there, it'd be some new wrinkles and shit, but yeah, everybody's if you in your culture or whatever, like the the bet, the the Pistons club, they still all run the same sets and shit, though. I can believe that. Yeah, I can definitely believe that, bro. Um as far as the uh league though, like Houston, they ain't as high up as I would expect them to be. They still never got that point guard thingy. Did I tell you that? Yeah, that's because they they they missing they missing the point guard. And Fred, Fred was the whole key to everything, and it's just like they can't. I don't like, I don't understand. I don't like I don't like nobody on Houston. I don't like a man topson. I don't like Shango, I don't like none of them. I feel like KD playing with OKC back in 2010 and 11. But he just older now. Like you got, you know what I'm saying? Like Shango can get 20, but he his basketball IQ is low. I'm sorry to say that. I don't I don't want to call nobody, but he he he like it's like when he's on defense, he don't know what he's doing. And then on offense, you're trying to back somebody down from the three-point line sometimes or the or the mid range. I've seen that for all the talent he got, yeah. He do make some bone-headed decisions sometimes. He makes some bone-headed decisions, right? And then it's like KD getting double. Yo, I never understood how you 30, KD with 36, 37, and you still getting doubled. That's that'll tell you how great I how great you is. Might be 38 at this point. Yeah, I think he might be 30. I think he's 37, but he yo, and he gets double all the time. I'll be like, yo, that's crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. KD for president, man. Yeah, he knows he knows he just passed Mike. And stuff like that. Yeah, he's number five now. He's number five now, yeah. He just passed Mike, so I think realistically, he can maybe get to two. I say three. I ain't gonna say two. I say three.
unknownThree.
SPEAKER_00All depends on how long you want to play though. All the probably yeah, that's all depends on. But if he gets to three, I mean, getting a five is that's an accomplishment anyway. You getting a five. And he probably would have been passed anyway if he didn't get injured. No, he had the one time he had the whole season out. Yeah, the yeah, he was out for like two years. He had the uh the um the Achilles, and then in OKC, he popped his he his foot, his foot was messed up. So he had to get the. The Achilles was in um in um Golden State, and then he went over to Brooklyn. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But yeah, but nobody don't know, people don't forget that he his foot was, yeah. No, KD playing with like a pin in his foot. And yeah, you know, I'm a real KD fan, so I KD played with a it's like a pin in his foot. He had messed his foot up uh, I think it was after his MVP year, he messed his foot up. Yeah, so yeah, so yeah. Size 25 with a pen in his foot. Yeah, he be cheapy cooking, yeah. It's like sometimes I don't know if it's a pen, it's like something they put in there where it's like he's cool, like he would he been like good ever since though. If I'm not mistaken, I might I could be wrong, but I I messed his foot up that way. Yeah, yeah. That's a walking 25. That's a walking 25 though. You can do that till you're 44 if you play the same way. He played the same way, yeah. But the game coming back to where it's supposed to be, it's coming back to the mid-range. It's trying. I do see that as trying. Yeah, these three three ball games, man. I can't take it, man. That's why I kind of fell off now, man. I was watching the game, bro, and it was just like, matter of fact, it might have been a Spurs or somebody, like they just kept pulling. Yeah, that's that's that's the I remember. This was earlier in the season. They just kept pulling, like the first five minutes, everybody's pulling. Like, yo, when does it that's all they do? They even gonna they're gonna spread you out, and then they're gonna shoot it as one of the three or at the top of the three, it don't matter. I like it like that though. I I mean I'm more I'm I'm advanced like that, so I like my I like it like that. That's just me. I like it like that. I'm still like, all right, so I'm just I don't know. My my like I always say, my favorite era is like the early 2000s with the Kobe's, T Max, AI's, Vince Carter, everybody had something different, I guess. Now it's like everybody is the same almost. You got maybe three or four players, but everybody was doing that. That's because everybody trained the same, though. Yeah, so everybody got like a everybody, me, I'm a trainer myself, but everybody has a uh trainer that you know takes from everybody. So everybody be that's why everybody looks the same. Like you see, everybody, everybody look the same, stuff like that. Everybody do the same workouts and all that. It's you know, that's why everybody plays the same. You see all the young games, they come down and put their ball, put they come down and do the new euro where they put the ball down and then people go foul, and it's it's a lot of new stuff. Yeah, yeah, it's a lot of new stuff. The door two stuff. It's it's a lot of stuff. I like it though. I mean, you know, but it don't bother me. Only thing that bothered me is when people got low basketball IQ, like you know, it's the fourth quarter, don't turn the ball up. Don't I mean you could turn the ball over because that's you know you human, but you know certain certain stuff you shouldn't do though. Yeah, like in the fourth quarter, you know not to do silly fouls and silly turnovers. That's gonna lose you games either way. Silly fouls and silly turnovers. That's gonna lose you the game, period. Oh what you for sure, period. Yeah. Um, well, based off what you've seen this year and the last few years, who you say is the face of the league right now? Still has it has anybody taken over yet? No, I don't think it's no, it's no face of the league. Nobody, nobody wanna take nobody wanna take on what LeBron took on. Nobody wanna be the face and come straight out of high school and to embrace being the face. Nobody wanna do that. You know, that's why Ant said, I don't want to be the face. And Shay, he can't be the face because he ain't got no personality. I mean, who else you gonna give it to? A lot of a lot of new players, new players is young and they laid back, they like real nonchalant, which is cool though, because that's that means you just a hooper. I don't want nobody that's all in the camera and all that. I mean, because that's just my personality, but like if you like all the laid back hoopers, I'm cool with them. And people don't and then and the older people don't like that, they don't want no laid back hooper. That's why, like Book, he don't get no recognition that he gets because he's laid back. Only reason why Shay get it because he won a championship, you know what I'm saying? You know, they'll never KD was never facing league why because he laid back. I don't know. I just want to hoop. I want to put my Nike tech on and I want to hoop. I ain't trying to do nothing else. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? And they don't want that, they want somebody that's more you know, outgoing. Like that's why they keep trying to say ant, but ant don't want that though. Too much to live up to, man. Yeah, especially if you kind of gotta be chosen for that, to be honest. Like LeBron was LeBron was chosen. Mike, those guys, magic, those guys was nice. See, magic embraced it. Magic embraced it. He said, you know, like yeah, I'm like, he was a different animal. But but I'll I like Bird though because Bird won't lay back. All right, I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna kill you just I ain't gotta do all that extra, you know what I'm saying? So yeah, bird used to just talk greasy, that's all. But you know, it's crazy though, all the nonchalot talkers. Yo, KD talk crazy, book talk crazy, Shay, all of them, they all talk greasy. Like they all talk greasy. You just don't know because super late, yeah. They on the low way, like mellow, mellow, super chill. That was another one. Talk that shit, talk that shit, bro. Definitely get the chopping on you. Yeah, it's crazy. Like, um, I thought like for a minute, I thought Giannis was gonna end up being a feast. They try to make it happen, but I guess you don't got enough teams and sets no more. Yeah, he I watched him play Phoenix two weeks ago, man. He usually Giannis usually put a little like, oh man, he about to run and dunk it. Like, you just I just look now, I'd be like, uh he don't really put too much in it, you know what I'm saying? You know, I don't think he needs to leave Milwaukee though. Like, it's not I don't understand how players be loyal to franchise, but the franchise don't be loyal to them. I I don't, I don't get that. I don't get that. And then they brainwash everybody to be like, yo, like, this is my team, this is my team, this this our team is our team, but y'all don't play it dirty. How you do the best two players, the best two small forwards of all time, they both of the organization didn't dirty Cleveland, they LeBron dirty, Oklahoma City, then Kevin Durant dirty. Everybody say oh KD, he left, and he this and that. If I was there for eight years, and you gave me Sergio Backer and Diabo sufferosha to be my fucking Diabo. And and and then and then after Diabo, you you you give me Andre Robertson. That was a bad back-to-back. Like they literally the same nigga. Matter of fact, Robertson was a little bit worse. Look, that's what I'm saying. You ain't want to give James Horner four million dollars. But you want me to be loyal to you want me to be loyal to the franchise. Go ahead. That's one of the biggest blunders. Like, if they didn't never win again, like thank god they won last year, but if they like never in life won again, we was always gonna look at OKC as four million dollars. And we ain't doing it at the time because they kept it under the wrecks, but then years later, you learn that you like four million dollars. Easy. But I mean, it came around and started over and all that. It started over again. It was a rocky road, yeah. It was a yeah, it was rocky, but I I don't get it, man. Like, uh you just went to the championship and then you said, Yeah, we we gonna and then you give him can you then you give him uh what's his name? Kevin Martin. I say he's a he's a R player, but he ain't James R. He was strictly what he was, a scorer. A scorer, that's it. Not even like D. A little bit of D. Yeah, a little bit. Yeah, it's crazy, man. I don't get it. I just don't understand. Kevin Martin, yeah. Kevin Martin was strictly a scorer. I was like, I remember when it first happened, then he ain't even last much longer after that. No, he fell off. It fell off, yeah. After the K OKC, he just fell off. OKC had it for that one year, and that was it. See, that's crazy. They had a lot of places. They had D Waiter, Deion Waiters from four, they had OK. Dion Waiters worked out. He was yeah, because they went to the Western conference here, but yeah, they were talking about being loyal to the franchise. I ain't listening. I don't believe in that, man. It's like the same thing with Josh. Yeah, like somebody pay me more money on my staying here, yeah. Exactly. I'm not staying here. I don't care about more money, better benefits. Right, I'm out. See y'all. I don't care about no franchise. People like yo, you you you you you only like Phoenix because of Devin Booker. You absolutely right. Devin Booker tomorrow, I do I give two shits about Phoenix. We should be an honest, bro. I respect people that keep it real about you know who they like and if they go from team because of a player. I've done it. I'm not gonna say a lot of you, bro. I'm a Sixers fan because it's my home team, but yeah, I follow LeBron to Cleveland. Right, I'm right. Yeah, yeah, for being loyal to a franchise that's not gonna be loyal to me. I'm cool. Only time I I just can't really do the Lakers because like growing up, I just hated them. So once he got there, it's just like, all right, Brian, I gotta love you from afar. But like is it because of Kobe? No, no, no, not Kobe. It's because, well, he was on the team, but when we played them in 01, that was the first, you know, I got introduced to the Sixers fans. Okay, and they they beat us, and it was just like Philly LA was always like a you know what I'm saying? Yeah, so I get it. But then I just never in life, like 10 years ago, you couldn't tell me like Brian going to the Lakers. So I just never was a thought until it actually happened. That makes sense, yeah. That makes sense.
unknownThat makes sense.
SPEAKER_00But um, yeah, like I I didn't like Kobe in the beginning. Like, I ain't gonna never lie about that. I don't think 2010. Yeah, I don't think nobody liked Kobe in the beginning. I was influenced, but I was had a bad influence for my uncles because they ain't like you know right there. Kind of trickled down to you. He was like, I don't like that nigga either. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, see, that's the problem right there. But uh as time passed, I started to appreciate his game more. Um, especially the old Kobe. Like I was I love the older Kobe, the back to the basket, you know what I'm saying? He ain't gotta be dunking on people all the time. Like, yeah, I appreciate that part of the game more because you know that's just basketball to me. That's how I like to play, you know what I'm saying? So as time passed, I was like, yeah, Kobe really is who he is. And then he got that two-peat, you know what I'm saying? Without Shaq, it was like you gotta give him his props. Should have been three, but should have been. Should have been. Should have been three, should have been three. But I'm youngest was coming. I mean, the CP3 thing happened, but the youngest was coming for him that year. OKC was on some reason. Yeah, yeah. But they ended up okay, they end up playing OKC at 10, and um, they done beat him in six because Pauka saw that that tapping. Yeah, pissed me off. I was pissed off. I remember that game, bro. I remember that game. I was watching that jump right at the crib. Yeah, pissed me. And it's crazy because uh uh my uh one of my my my homies, he passed away uh in 2011. Rest in peace to him. He uh definitely we was we was walking to the butt we was walking to the bus stop and I was like, yo, okay c. I said, yo, watch in a couple years they're gonna be good. He's like, he's like, I know, bro, I know. He's like, they got knocked out, but they gonna be good though. Just give them go. And then he ended up passing away. And they went to the championship the year after that, after he passed away. That's crazy. The next uh two years after that. They ended up, yeah, it's crazy, yeah. He was like, yo, I was like, yo, because he was like, yeah, they gonna be nice, man. I was like, yeah. I remember that year, because that was when, you know, I remember in this the uh the Lakers, I mean sorry, I remember the heat loss and the chip. I had money on that joint against my cousin. Um cheese back then, you know what I'm saying? No, no, he said you're gonna get some easy bread. And at my heart, I didn't think like they was gonna cook Dallas because I knew Dallas was nice, but I would have thought it was just gonna go differently than it did. That's all. Yeah, and I forgot. I didn't think it was gonna go like that. But um ever since then, man, I was like, man, after Lakers then too. I still wasn't a fan of that by that time I started to come into being like appreciating Kobe Game and the way he talked and stuff like his leadership too, because a lot of people, you know, had a lot of stuff to say because he wasn't like a vocal leader, you know what I'm saying? More of a lead by example type of guy, which is something that I take pride in being also sometimes. I don't always gotta be vocal with it, you know what I'm saying? Now that he's gone, all this slander be happening and all that, and I hate it. Like some stuff I understand, but then it'd be like, come on now. Like, I hate it. Six years ago when Kobe was here, nigga, you wasn't talking like that. No, and when none of y'all talking like that. When I say when I say I hate it, I hate it. I don't tolerate no Kobe slandering from nobody. I don't care who you is, I don't tolerate no standing from nobody. You can't tell me nothing. You can't tell me nothing about we I was in a barbershop a couple days ago and they was talking about Mike and Kobe, and I was like, he was like, Well, my OEA was like, uh, you mean Mike is different. I said, if you say 84, 85, Mike, I agree with that. Young Mike, yeah. Young Mike, they're him and Kobe, no, they're not. But if you saying Mike from 90 on them, they're the same exact player. So I don't understand how y'all say because Mike was dominant in the 90s. So when people say Mike is number one, so why is Kobe not number two? They play the same exact way. And if you say they don't play the same exact way, you don't know basketball. Because that means I know I know that you just like only watching this podcast. Because you literally had the same thing. You're talking with your heart and not with not with you. They play when I say And and which is cool, because when I would do workouts and stuff, I tell everybody all the time, I steal everything from D book. Every one of my workouts and everything I do with the pump fakes, the the pump fakes, the the triple pump fakes and going around the screen and coming up to the I steal all that. I don't care. I don't care. Kobe didn't took everything. He stripped everything from my they play exactly alike. I don't understand how if Mike won why Kobe not too. That don't make sense to me. They're the same exact way. Now for me. I only all right. So growing up, like it was hard for me to say Kobe because I just was like one the bandwagon or not even the bandwagon. I just felt like he just meant trying to mimic Mike game so much. So coming up, I was an AI fan. But if you're gonna ask me who's better, pound for panel, I'm gonna say AI. But who got more out of the league? Kobe. So Kobe at the end of the day, he won more. He had the size, and he was the closest thing to Mike. So you gotta put him after Mike. Now people do their interchangeable with LeBron and Kobe. Sometimes it's preferences, and sometimes people just yeah, because mine's because mine's is based on preference. Like I don't I like the way Kobe plays, so it's my preference. Like that's why I say like Mike and Kobe is that's one and two, but LeBron top three, so it don't matter. Yeah, like I don't understand why people make it like people that don't that like Braun fans versus Mike fans, you know what I'm saying, or you or Kobe fans, it'd be like it'd be like racing hell because of some people who don't put them you know where they think they should be, but it's nothing wrong with being the third best player of all time. What's wrong with that? Ain't nothing wrong with being. It's a lot of people that play ball, bro. Even if you the if even is five, if even if you're the five best players in the world right now, it's nothing wrong with yeah. If you talk what's wrong with being a top 10 player, that means it's a big people in the world. Why is you mad that you're top 10? NBA been off since 1950s or something like that, maybe before. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, like what are you I'm confused? You top ten out of all these players that have been in the league. I mean, you know, I get it, but you know, I think Brian has hurt his own self because of some of the stuff he be doing. I even always want the court, just like just chill. And you know, I can't defend some of it, especially later down his career. I just started, I just gave up. You know, I don't even say nothing no more. I don't give a I get I give him past I'm like, yo, he's 40. Like he just out there, you open. I don't I don't know. But now, yeah, yeah. I've been all like, I don't be expecting, like, you know, oh, he don't play defense. Like, nigga, who plays defense at 40? You know, 35, I still expect him to compete. But 40, 41, I'm like, them young boys back door and and dribble one, two, three, four, five dribbles just to pull up and hit it. Yeah, I ain't trying to go up that either. Realistically, he'll be getting dumped on more than ever if he really was trying. Yeah, if he was trying, I don't I don't say nothing. I'd be like, he's 40. I've been off that wave uh, you know. I used to be one of those two back in the day that just be like, yo, like, I don't like him for this, and I don't like him for that. Then I grow older and I'd be like, you know, I respect him. I don't gotta like you, but I respect you. So when people say stuff about LeBron, I don't get mad. I'll be like, all right, that's your preference, that's your preference. I don't care. Like, you can't, I can't tell you who to like, and you can't tell me who I can like. So I don't really care for that. I think that's just be for the internet and the TV. People be wearing clicks and stuff like that. Like baby, yeah. Because I watched this podcast called The Panel, and they say some outrageous things, man. I know what you're talking about. Yeah, that podcast says some outrageous things, and I'll be like, I don't get it. Like I get it, but then I go don't get it. So you telling me because Shay is, and I don't want to seem like I hate Shay, but sometimes people make me like I don't want to go back to that person, but sometimes people make me be like, that's why I don't watch them. You tell me because he won one MVP, uh Western Conference MVP, and he won the championship MV, he better than Kobe. Oh, he and this the new thing, he's more this the new thing, uh, more efficient. This the new thing is efficient. He's more efficient than Kobe, so he's better than Kobe. And that piss me that pissed me, that pisses me off so bad. But I but I just play if you like if you go on there and say yo, like and I I think you can't say that, but it's like contradicting, but if you go on there and say, yo, uh you know, I'm gonna say some dumb shit today. I'd be cool with that. Like, yeah, we're about to say some outlandish dumb shit today. Because I'm more like black and white, because there's no way you think that a person that did something for one year is better than a person that was dead 20 years. Yeah, come on, man. And then that's the efficiency argument is always funny to me, right? He's more efficient is because it's like taking chances, right? So, like we got the quarterbacks in the league that don't throw a lot of passes. I'm a Jordan Hurts fan, but he don't take that many chances. So, of course, he wanna be more efficient in most areas because he ain't throwing it on certain he ain't throwing certain things. So his percentage might be better than the average quarterback, right? So if you compare stars, yeah, Shea is more efficient than Kobe, but you gotta look what Kobe had to deal with in the times when he was leading his own team. Yeah, it's two nobody else was scoring. Yeah, it's two different areas, man. You know what I mean? Like nobody else was scoring. No, that's true, that's true. Who was getting buckets beside Kobe? Like he had big men, but who on the wing was getting buckets? Yeah, like you know, he like we even before Lamar Odom and um Powkasaw, I want to say before Parkasaw, Parkinson got there. I mean, they had Odom, but you know, but who else was on the wing with him? You know what I'm saying? Odom not really a score first player, though. He no, he not. Well, but he's a point forward. Yeah, his his when he first came in, he was uh, you know, he was he was like crazy. But like throwers later, throw it was later in. Like, I'm like, yo, like who else was Kobe? Who else did Kobe really win with for free thinking about it? Because it's like, yeah, Park is all cool. He got your second score, I get you. Then you got LO, you got Biden. But then you got who else you had? You had Kobe, then you had uh Trevor, don't disrespect the Trevor Reason. He was nice. You got Trevor Rainett, Trevor, you got him, then you got Trevor Reza, excuse me, and then you got, you know, it's Kobe, and then Fish at your point guard, and then you got Sasha Bush. You got Sasha Bush. Jordan Formar. Jordan Foremar gone like y'all know Kobe won with that. Like, Kobe ain't win like for that. He had Smush. That was hard. And he didn't win with that. You know what I'm saying? Pick Kobe won with the Kobe went with the worst. I want to say Kobe probably won with the if you look at all the NBA championships. Kobe might won with the worst one, like in old nine no time. He just cobyes was just that great though. As long as I've been watching, yeah. That that team might be the worst champion. They might be the two worst, besides Pakistan and Kobe. They might be the two worst ones, though. For for yeah, if you ever look at it. And Binance was in Biden was inconsistent. Yeah, I won't say inconsistent, but he just what and what he lived up to. Like, he was good for them. And then you seen when he went somewhere else, it's not what it is. He came to Philly, bro. He never played, yeah. He stole money from y'all. I seen him in person, bro. At the bowl, and I like I'll never forget. You seen him at the yeah, he uh he stole money, but yeah, that may be the worst team, though. Yeah, might be the team. I had to think, like, yeah, because I'm I can go back, yeah. Yeah, it might be the worst team. Top the bottom, yeah. Top to bottom after that starting five, man. It's got real nice. Oh, and wait, let me say this. I know no disrespect to none of us on the team because they all great players because they I mean they all good players because they NBA, but if you see the all the championship team, like compared to like Golden State with KD, Steph Curry, and then uh Draymond, Igadalic, David West, Jabelle Vigie. He's like, yo, like Sean Livingston, it's like, yeah, like then you got uh Mr. Mid-range, right? Then you got Braun team in 20, you know, 16 with Kyrie, J.R. Smith, Roman Shepherd. And you got uh that was a nice team. Nice day, just a lot. Then you got the Spurs, all A Jones, all they teams was loaded. You had Detroit with the Wallace. On the load, too. Yeah, you got Detroit with the Wallace's, then you had Miami with that O 16. Miami was deep. They had Wade, Antoine, they had Wade, Walker, they had Gary, yeah. They put that team was loaded. That team might cool, that Lakers team might get the worst team they won two championships to me. We're gonna have to go out and say today, yes, it is. Yeah, so I think something else it is, yeah. To somebody be like, yo, cook this up, and somebody be like, Oh, yeah, you know, uh it's somebody else. Uh was Gasar all-star? Gasar was an all-star. That's what I said, besides Gasar and Kobe, but who else can you really? Yeah, yeah, man. I don't know, man. Shout out to Colt. Yeah, man.
unknownYeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00We I still want to get into that, you know, because yeah, we're gonna get into that, but yeah, we can get into that. But talk about that now, actually. Because we still talk in the NBA. That Shaq and Kobe thing. That that thing, that's something that really irritates me a lot. Yeah, I don't know why, like, I don't let really like run in real life, really don't get under my skin, but that Shaq and Kobe debate. When it comes to sports, that's that should get under my skin. You know what, bro? Even though I wasn't a Kobe fan at the time, I saw the games with my eyes. Like I seen, like it's a dynamic, big man, big man guard dynamic. Okay, yeah, Shaq was the most dominant. There's no question. But when you really, really need a bucket, where are you gonna go to? The nigga on the perimeter that can shoot and make free throws, or the man down low who could potentially get foul and miss two. That's what I'm saying. And don't get me, and no, I ain't even gonna say that because I like I like Shaq off the court as a person. Yeah, I like I love Shaq. He's a great, he's a great human being. But as far as like being on the court, I don't get where they'd be like, yeah, you know, he just carried Kobe. That pisses me off. Like he never carried Kobe. I'm like carry, I'm like, that's first of all, calling Kobe a uh a Robin's no fuck this trust. That's the most disrespectful shit ever. You call Kobe a Robin, that's the most disrespectful shit ever. Like you're saying like Kobe really was a sidekick, and I don't get that. If you average 32 and I average 28, it's no way that I'm a sidekick. That's not making no sense to me. And it's a lot of older people too that that that's the way I have the argument with like they be like, yeah, like you know, Shaq just the most dominant. Cool. He got the he got those three MVPs. Don't get me wrong, but he ain't winning till Kobe grew up. So I don't get where what you carrying. He ain't getting with nothing until he grew up. Yeah, he ain't win with Penny and Penny. He ain't went with Penny, and they got Hakeem was out there getting on the business, then they be like, Oh, well, he was young. I don't give a fuck. You would it you in the NBA, I don't care what you was, you was getting your ass torched. And only one with Wade, and Wade was young and vibrant. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Like, and people like, oh well, he averaged 20. He wasn't Shaq, he wasn't the Shaq that he was with Kobe when he was 30 and 15, like, you know what I'm saying? You know, 20 is cool, but it's like I hate that Shaq and Kobe thing. I hate that Shaq even Shaq. First of all, Shaq fought because Shaq allowed that to even get out there, like, yeah, like, yo, um, yeah, like I'm is I'm the reason why we won. And you don't even work hard. You never work harder than Kobe. You never did none of that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't get it, man. They need to cut that out though, man. They all that all that's I'm saying it right here, right now. I don't care what nobody says. I wouldn't disrespect Kobe like that. Don't disrespect Cole like that, man. Don't don't do don't do that to him, man. Don't do that to him. I just feel like that's like really, really disrespectful. Like to say a lot of people is better than Kobe, and none of y'all, and none of y'all really better than Kobe for free. And y'all wouldn't even say that to Kobe face. Yeah, they wouldn't. None of y'all walked up to Kobe and be like, yo, I'm better than you. But you know, Kobe would have walked up to y'all and be like, Yeah, I'm better than all y'all mo folks. What's up? It's crazy, man. Yeah, that kills me. It hurt my feelings, man. It really does hurt my feelings, man. The way don't make it no better. Yeah, no, but now he be trying to, he'd be like, you know, uh, but you should have been did that though. Yeah, you should have been doing that since I know they had these few in the beginning. Like, I get that. But after that, bro, man, come on, you got your feelings, dog. Yeah, yeah, man. And I ain't saying because I don't know, I don't know all the details. I'm not saying it could have been, but from what you hear, like it's like, dog, come on, man. Like, I don't understand that. Nothing is that bad. Like, he ain't harm you physically, do it to your wife or nothing like that. Man, you should be able to get over it. Yeah, man, they be tripping on cold, man. Not and some people don't be going for it. I know I'm one of them. I don't I don't tolerate no slander. I don't care. Obviously, we all do. But like we can't, you know what I'm saying? They be going strong on cold sometimes, you're right. And I never thought I would get to a point where I felt like this, but too much. David don't my man dirty, man. David on my man dirty. Yeah, um, I've seen you and the first championship they won when they played the Pacers, Cold came through. Yeah, because Shaq filed out. Yeah, like Shaq had the numbers. Yeah, the numbers, yeah. You know, if you look into the game, like the ins and outs of the game, that crunch time when they needed a bucket, Kobe, even with that uh Portland jaw. Yeah, but you know what's crazy though? Because the series before that, the series, the two series before, you know, Kobe averaged like five, like 40 points for five games straight though. Between San Antonio and and um, and they played who they they played San Antonio on the Wisconsin front, and they played Sacramento in the second round, and I think in the second round. Between those two series, he was averaging like four, averaging like 40. You know, he was only 22 at the time, too, right? Because people people don't know that though. He was 22 at the time, averaging 40 in the playoffs for a stretch. That's different, bro. Yo, that means like yo, like I'm 22, like like you 22 and you averaging 40, like you killing grown men. You're not even grown yet. It's crazy. He came like I think Kerry could they always gonna say they did Kobe at the service when he came in the league because like they ain't starting, so he had to go through the pain. He kind of go, yeah, he went through the he ain't get that with everybody because they were saying that in the barbershop too the other day. They was like, Yeah, you know, he went out more. He was like, Well, wasn't AI better than Kobe full of yeah, he was. No, that's no doubt about it. He was for that little bit of those little bit of times, he was better than I'm gonna say from '96 to like I want to say 2000. Yeah, AI, 2001, AI was better. But once Kobe, once, once, you know, once that once that wore off, Kobe just took off. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? He took off. So what happened was they all like all those guys was like close on the same level. All them guys, the T Max, the Kobe's, the AIs, even Vince was right there. Ray was right behind them. Yep. But then once Kobe like got that taste of winning, he shoot to the roof. He just went crazy and he became another alien. And I've seen it, you know what I'm saying? And that's when I was like, dang, because he wanna be like Mike. It's nothing wrong with being, it's nothing wrong with trying to be the bet, want to be like the best. Ain't like I'm out here trying to be like somebody else. I want to be where he at. There's nothing wrong with that. I don't want to see why people understand it. Like, if it's somebody that's better than me doing something, I want to get next to him so I can see what he's doing, so I can get better. Yeah. Uh yeah. That's facts. Um man, so what's your what's your true thoughts? Because I know you train as well. Um, you train the youth. What's your thoughts on like load management, bro? And you think like, do we play, do they play too much young? Because you know they got the AAU system and all that. Yeah, I yeah, I do. I think they I think playing a game every week or every week or every weekend or whatever it is, because I I don't do nothing with AAU. Like if one of my if like one of the kids I'm training every want to go AU and they ask me my personal opinion, I'm gonna tell them no. But if that's what they want to do, go here, I'm gonna still support you. But me as being like original, I wouldn't want that for you because it's like you're playing, you're playing every you're playing every weekend, and then they're charging y'all money. When I was coming up, and when I was coming up and doing stuff like that, we they we never got charge to play for you. How you charging me to play basketball? And it's you know, as a kid, you don't even think of that because you just want to play, you just want to know who, and then you don't know what somebody mind going, especially as a lot of shout out to all the single moms and all that. It's a lot of single moms out here. You tell me they gotta come out their pocket,$1,200,$1,300, and then you ain't even playing their kid. Yeah, then that's the hurt piece. Hey, you was the biggest paying you all this cheese, and my kid can't get in the game. I'm scared of your bum. That's right. That is the biggest scam in the world. Yeah, I would never tell no kid to go play in none of that. A lot of people never put that into perspective. That's the crazy part. Yeah, that's crazy. You know how I mean, like, and and shout out to the dads too, whoever the dads be doing. But like, you know, normally when I go to you see a lot of moms, you don't really see you now. If you see a mom and a dad, that's rare. But you know how many moms gotta bust their ass to go over 40 hours and do overtime just to give another man all this money, and you ain't even treat my son how he's supposed to be treated. That's crazy to me, yo. That's crazy. Crazy but true, bro. Yeah, I've been training for years, and guess what? I don't charge a dime. Why I'm gonna charge somebody mom that's working hard, they gotta put food on the table, gotta do this, gotta pay bills, gotta pay rent. And I'm gonna charge her three, four hundred dollars to train her son, and her son might not turn out to be good. So basically, I didn't do my job, and then I'm just wasting your time. Yeah, that's crazy. I didn't even know you don't charge. I don't charge, I don't charge nothing. Anything I get gear, if I get I got gear, I got shirts, anything is from the muscle. I pay for everything because like I don't got no kids, I don't got none of that. So like everything I'm doing is for the muscle. I'm doing it for the kids. Like, I'm doing it for the, you know what I'm saying? But I'm not charging no, I can't see myself charging no single mom for no for no workout. I'm with you on that. That's that's that's crazy. And I don't care what nobody says. I ain't charging no single black mom. They already got it hard enough. That's crazy to me. You know what I'm saying? That's crazy to me. I can't do it. I respect it, man. I can't do it, man. I just I think that's just a scam, and I think the little man, I think that's why these kids, they when they come in, like now the one thing I did think I could say they be the they be already at the because they've been playing, they be already but then they are the yeah, but it ain't it's not that many of them though. The crazy part is like I think you was about to get into that. Like, like with all the stuff that they got, all the new technology technology and stuff like that that we got, the the injuries are worse than ever. Like, dude just got injured last night, right? Yeah, um, his knee popped out in the in the middle of the phase. You crazy. Like, yo, like I stuff like that was not happening until like I guess when we was coming up, because that's when we first seen our first crazy drunk, like the Kevin Ware, Paul George. Paul George, yeah. That was nasty, bro. To see that live, yeah. You know they're gonna zoom in because zoom in. Yeah, they don't care. Like Tyreek Hill injury, Tyreek. He played football, his injury was bad. So it's like that was nasty work. Yeah, it's just like, yo, like that don't that's crazy to me, yo. Like, that's yeah, I mean, I think it's more essential, you know, than people act like it is, like the load management, like, because like you said, it's not like it was back in the day. I don't know what it is in our food, everything is just different, man. You know, we got technology, everything is enhanced, and you know, they messed up, and they've been playing so much that hey, you do take a toll on your body before you even get to the league. You gotta think you start playing ball at five or six, and then by the time you get to the league, you 20. Bro, that's 15 years of ball. Oh ball constantly. You ain't do nothing else, you ain't be no kid, especially if you're nice. That's what I'm saying. You you ain't been you couldn't be a kid enough. I mean, I was uh watching David Booker, um, and he was saying, like, yo, like I sacrificed my whole life to be where I'm at today. That's how it is. Uh that's the ones, some of them, also the ones that like that had to go through that. Yo, I mean he said I sacrificed my whole life. Like, I ain't even get a chance to really be a kid because this is what uh, you know what I'm saying? It's crazy, man. Yeah, it's crazy. So I mean, I honor those guys that can do it, but it's definitely a lot. Like, if I have a kid and they want to play ball, I'm gonna have to think about it strongly. Yeah, strongly, yeah. Not about them playing ball, but just how much they can play. You know what I'm saying? Because I want you to be able to enjoy your life too. Yeah, because you know, you still gotta be a kid, you know, and all that. Like, some people, some people, some parents really be like, yo, this is what you really doing. And shout out to LeVar, he did his thing, but I don't know if I could. That's why I want no son, because I know I'd be like LeVar. Yeah, shout out to him, by the way. Shout out to him, but I know I'm gonna be like him. Um once I want no kid, I know I'm gonna be like him. They gonna eat, sleep, and shit. This thing right here. I you know what I'm saying. For real. Like a ball, but they didn't want my thing about it today. No, he's the best father, he's the best father in the world. Yeah, he's the best father in the world. I he got a hands down. He got a hands down. Like that's why I said I know I'd be like that. I I know I know I'm gonna be like that with my son. If I had one, I know I'm gonna be like that. Oh, for sure, bro. But I respect what you're doing, man. Because youth, man. Yeah, everything from the muscle, your own pockets, man. Takes everything coming a real dude to do stuff like that. Yeah, I ain't everything I do, I do it from the muscle, man. Do everything. I ain't charging nobody. I ain't doing none of that. And I ain't trying to get no, let's make this clear. I ain't trying to get no recognition from it. I don't like no cameras. Only reason why I be on here with you, because you my guy. We've been here, we've been since we was little, little kids, but I don't like no attention. I don't like no cameras. I don't like being around a lot of people. That's just not my personality. I like being around the people that love me and I love them. Like being around the youth and the kids. And don't I just came in my house with new stuff for the gym? The gym just opened back up, you know. I heard. Yeah, and I just got all this stuff for the uh, you know, for when I start training and stuff like that. And when my kids come back for summertime, like I ain't, you know, that's that's what I like to do. That's that's me. I want to come down there a couple times with you too, bro. You definitely come in, man. It's it's always open arms. Anybody can come in there, it's open arms, man. You know, I ain't nothing, man. You know, we be in there chilling. I'll be see me. I hang with the older case, so like, you know, I mean I be chilling, you know. I come in there with them, and you know, we we brock and do our thing, like, you know, that's what we've been doing. I need big man, you know what I'm saying? I'll put him on and I'll put him put them to the test and I'll show them some footwork, a couple job sets. You know how many big fellas be coming to me. I'm not gonna lie, I am a little bougie. You know how many big it's a lot of big fellas that be going to you, but I just feel like you know, I ain't like people be like, yo, I want you to train like little little kids. When I get the patience and big men come to me and little little kids come to me, that's what I'm gonna do. I just don't have the patience right now. That's my only that's that's my only flaw. That's my only flaw in in training. I'm not training no little, little, little, little kids, and I ain't trying to really train no big man. Because I can't show you nothing that I I don't know. So it's like I don't know what the, you know what I'm saying? So I can't really, you know, only like if you a guard and you know you at that, I can I can tune, I'm like, my whole thing is I'm not the best trainer in the world. I'm not none of that, I don't call myself none of that. I'm the one that's gonna tune you up and get you ready for the pros. That's me. If you're already good and you want to be a professional and you want to be a professional scorer, I'm your guy. I got you. Like, if you want to be like tuned up where you be like, yo, they like yo, why he put like that? He played like a pro. That's me. I'm not the one that's wanting to build you up and and yell at you all day. I that's not me. And some people good at doing that, but I'm not that. I'm the one, I'm the one you come to when you want to tweak your whole thing up, and I got you. You really good, you know what I'm saying? Like, I take credit for that. I ain't taking credit for like saying, Yeah, I build your whole. Nah, that's not me. Because I'm not I don't have patience for that. You know what I'm saying? I don't have patience with the little ones for sure. I know that. Tiny ones, and that's the best, and they and they really the best ones to really get. Because I I I see that King's Lesson all the time. I've seen a lot of people come from being terrible to being great, like to be on the path of being like, yo, he's gonna be good. You know what I'm saying? A lot of little babies, and I and I respect the trainers. Shout out to the trainers, I respect all of them, but I can't do it though. I don't have that level of patience to even want to do that. Like it ain't for everybody. That's not for me. That's not for me. That's that's not for me, yeah. No, it's not for me. Nothing. So let's talk some little NFL for a second. Um, there's been a lot, you know, this this offseason, of course, but it's been a lot, you know, with system quarterbacks, uh, and game managers and stuff like that. So how do you feel about that? Like, what's more important to you? Like the talent versus the system? What do you think matters more? Let me tell you, let me tell y'all something. Let me we gonna nip this in the butt tonight. Y'all know Brady was a game, and uh everybody knows I'm the biggest Brady fan. If you don't know, I'm the biggest Brady fan. That's my guy. Don't y'all know Brady was a game manager for three Super Bowls before he came Tom Brady. I don't get where people be like, and you know I don't like nothing about Philly, and I live in Philly, you know, I don't like the Eagles, I don't like Jen Hurst, I don't like nothing. But I'd rather have him, I'd rather have him, if he's gonna game manage and he's gonna make sure his team wins, he's not getting no turnovers, that's cool with me. I'm great with all that. But don't go on there and be like he top five though, because that's going that's where we're gonna get into a little argument. But I don't have no, I don't see no problem with Chen Hurst being a game manager. Tom Brady was a game manager for three Super Bowl rings. So why what's wrong with Children Hurts being a game manager? What's wrong with Bob Brock Purdy being a game manager? The name of the game is don't turn the ball over. If you turn the ball over, you're gonna lose the game. That's how the Rams lost. They turned the ball over, that's how you lost to the Seahawks. And the NFC championship. It's the game about being simple, it's not about being flashy because you can't be flashy at the beginning. You you ain't gonna have that. If they got tape on you, you ain't gonna be flashy, you ain't gonna get all that. So the system quarterback versus the manager and all that. I don't really to me, I don't really care about that. As long as you really, as long as you win the game, that's all that matters to me. You have all the orange yo, Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks I've ever seen in my life. He only got one ring. Drew Brees watched him play all his life. He got one ring. No matter how pretty you can throw the ball, it's about managing the game and whoever you is. So they need to. But that's how I say that'd be for clicks though. Or I think everything just be for what we doing right now. I think it'd just be one clicks. Because I'm not going out my way and saying, yo. Uh well, I'm not saying I wouldn't, I don't think nobody should say yo. No disrespect. I don't care who got rings on. I know you wouldn't say yo, yeah, Hurts is better than Lamar Jackson. You know that's not true. No, just because he got a super ring is like, oh, just because people got rings, he's like, oh that's not true. You know that's not true. You know what I'm saying? Like, y'all people shouldn't say that. I wouldn't disrespect Lamar Jackson. That's my whole thing. Like, if you want to say Jalen Hurts is top six or whatever, that's cool. If you want to say he top five, but he ain't the top three, he ain't three up there, though. He better than Justin Herbert, though, if you ask me. Talented, more talented, no. But he's talented, there's a lot of things to go over there. Right, but he managed to he he he managed to gain better than Justin Herbert. He do more something he's doing that Justin Herbert ain't doing because he can't win that one playoff game. Yeah, him, him, him, him, Justin Herbert. That's true. But you know what I'm saying. Only reason why I would pick Justin Herbert because the I no, I don't want to contradict myself. I get what you're saying, yeah. But for me, well, I like that's my type of quarterback. Justin Herbert, like I love I my cousins know I love Josh Allen. I love Josh Allen too, but my coming to it and just like something. He just that's small, you know what I'm saying? But it's just like, you know, I wouldn't if y'all want to say Jalen Top Six, I'm cool with that. I'm cool with that, yeah. But don't because uh he won the Super Bowl, yeah, he's top five. That because then that is that the case, Eli Minnie should Eli Minnie was top five in 07 and 12 and the and 11. We both know that's not true. That's not true, you know what I'm saying? You're making a good point. Eagles fans just be delusional, man. They just be it's a lot of hype. Yeah, it's a lot of hype, and I was I was on there too for a minute. I ain't gonna lie, for like a split six-minute period, six-month period. I was like, Yeah, but on that Super Bowl high. Yeah, but you should be though. You know how hard it is to win a Super Bowl? Yeah, that's all I be trying to tell people. You know how hard it is to win a Super Bowl? Yo, like, you know how many nights, you know how many times, you know how many times I just should be stressed out, like, all right, the women go to the Super Bowl, I'm happy. But I'm like, it's a possibility they can damn lose. I don't want to watch my team lose. I didn't watch them lose to the Giants twice. It hurt and hurt bowls. I didn't watch them lose to the Giants twice and the Eagles once. I'm two and two. Yo danger. That John we lost to the uh to the Chiefs the first time. Yeah, shout out to shout out to what's the name. He was out there out there hooing, whatever the cornerback was, the cornerback, whatever it was. Shout out to him out there holding on juju holster. Yeah, man, you know. And what's they played good in that game, though? He played like a hurts on one. You know what it is, though? See, you see what it is, though. You see what it's like when you like when it's like when you you when you be in that mood and it's like yo, I'm putting a game on my back. That's the best feeling. It is everything. That's the best feeling on a much lower scale, but you know, that's the best feeling. Like, yo, he like yo, he was feeling so good that game. Oh, of course. I said, Yo, Jenny Hurts, like I'm not he's a gamer. He's a gamer like he's he's not gonna raise his level. Listen, when it's on that play, oh he he definitely go on ball. That's that's the truth. He definitely go on ball. But I think he gotta get out of his own head, though. I think he yeah, I think he tried to be too much of a uh I don't want to say Brady, but I think he wanna be too much of a like I don't try to be too much of a game. Yeah, yeah, I ain't trying to F up. No, you're gonna have to F up. You got to. That's the only way to succeed. Man, y'all know, man, Brady last Super Bowl in the NFC Championship, he threw four picks. They just somehow still won.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00You just it's how it goes, man. It's how it goes. But I think with the system and the I think they, I think that just I don't know. I'm gonna be real. I I'm gonna speak my mind. I just think that should be for cook pits. I don't think it yeah, you know what I'm saying. I think that's just all for television, you know, people watch it, so that's what they're gonna do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It gets tricky. I don't really talk about that a lot either, because yeah, I'm a I'm an odds. I'm a still my eyes test. Yeah, so I mean, shout out to all the quarterbacks that's doing it right now. Um and I and I wouldn't have been mad. Like, I would I was like, if if we wasn't, because I knew we wasn't winning the chip this year, at some point I found that I realized that. But even like I would have been okay with Josh Allen doing it, and I was like, all right, maybe this might be his year, and then I don't I don't know now. I'm scared because I'm thinking at this point, and you ain't winning this year, I don't know when you're gonna win this year. That's what I'm saying. Like this year was the year, like, oh, he got, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you ain't got run into who you run into every year, which is the Chiefs. So he got it now. He's gonna be bad. Listen, man, crazy bees man thing is, man, he's gonna come back, and he's gonna because I seen this movie before, man. When Brady tore his ACL and eight, man, he came back on the rampage, and it's just like I feel bad for I feel that's why I really I'll be watching football, but I I feel I feel bad for a lot of people that think they gonna sleep them drones in. I that's over with. Like once he gets back, because once he gets back, Super Bowl this year, man. Yeah, man. You know, I I I watched it, I only watched a little bit of it, but I was surprised that they really dominated New England like that, you know. I ain't expect that. You know what it was though? I was being a what's the name though, because I watched them against the Bucs, because you know I watched the Bucs a lot, too. I watched them against the Bucs, and Baker was slicing and dicing them like with no Mike, with no Mike Evans, no nothing on the side squad. So I'm like, damn, yo, I'm like, and then I see what the rent and puka always killed them. So I'm thinking like, yo, there's no way they're going. There's no way they they going back. But they defense stepped up though. They stepped up, though, stepped up the right time. Drake May is good, he's a good young quarterback. He just ain't there yet, all the way to win a straight. Drake May, Drake. I'm gonna tell y'all right now, Drake May is going to be great. I think so, yes. He definitely there, he's gonna be great. Yo, his the way he threw that ball, yo, he's going to be great. He already got a taste of it already. He's gonna be great. Why they get rid of Diggs, though? Off the off the off the off the field. Yo, you if you're not if you're not a Patriots fan, I seen that coming from a lot of ways. If you're not a Patriots fan, you cannot do nothing off the field and think that you're gonna still be on the Patriots. I don't care who you is. The only reason they had me like that, because it's like I get what you're saying, because for sure. I've been watching football long enough to know that's how it goes in there. But I also just wasn't thinking nothing about it, like, and then they just said it out of nowhere. You know, I just all year I was like, oh, they went to the chip, he getting sized back. And then out of nowhere, you just like, oh, he getting released. Like, oh damn, he wants plans. Yeah, you you yo, when they say what they say is patriot, the patriot way, yeah. That's real life. It's like they say you can't go in there and think you're gonna do what you want to do on the boat and do all what you're doing with the with the shelf and think you're still gonna be a patriot. That's still, even though Bill Belichick not there, that still applies. Yeah, it's the Patriot Web. It always reminds me of the NFL version of the Spurs, like the way they run the org, they'd be yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. No nonsense type stuff. No, no nonsense, man. No, we know body there. They let the greatest route, the second greatest wide receiver ever go for nothing. Hurt my heart, they let Randy go. Man, as a fan of football, I was like, Are y'all serious? Hurt my heart, they let Randy go. Yeah, they hurt my heart they let Randy go. Yeah, yeah, man. Everything everything must go, even even the greatest, yeah. You see, they're about to you see they trade, you see they was about to get rid of Gronk until Gronk said I'm retired. Yeah, he said, No, how you gonna trade me? Yeah, how you say you're gonna trade me and I'm retired? You gonna get me? Yeah, nah. Oh crazy. You think the NFL is too soft though? No. NFL is definitely soft. Definitely soft. It's definitely soft. Only thing I only think that I only think I agree with the NFL is don't touch the quarterback. Because once the quarterback goes, it's a rat. I don't care who else takes the fun out of the game. Takes the fun, I don't care else who you injured. I don't, and sorry to say that, I don't care else who you injured, but do not touch the quarterback. Like, I don't want to see no backup quarterback like with Denver. And you and you know I love the Patriots, but Bo Nicks there, they probably won that. They they probably won that game. Yeah, that was a little crazy. You know what I'm saying? They probably won that game. Low low key, they probably won that game if if if uh boat next was there. But don't hit the quarterback, man. But the NFL is definitely soft, though. You can't, you know what I'm definitely soft. 100%. I'm s uh and the NBA is soft too. They both saw, they all saw. Yeah, yeah, they both saw. And um, North Carolina just let go Hubert Davis. I knew that was coming. Oh, yeah, it's been stinking it up since he's been the coach. Yo, you know what's crazy? My my cousin was like, shout out to L Yo, because I talked to L about uh yo. He was like, Yeah, they're gonna get rid of him either for he the first black coach. You think they care? He's out of there. He's going. They don't care about none of that, man. You know what I'm saying? They don't care about that. He's like, yeah, I'm out, he like yeah. That's crazy. Crazy for sure, but I'm starting reading it now, but I knew that was gonna happen, man. Yeah, they said, No, you gotta go. Yeah, so those teams like that, yeah. You don't got that much of a window to excel because you know that's they used to, you know, always being always sitting there running. Yeah, and you keep coming short like that. Nah, bro, you gotta go. Yeah, you gotta get up out of there. Hopefully, Josh Allen got uh Tariq Evan, I mean Tariq Hill. So hopefully he get right, and you know what I'm saying. He can do something. Oh, they wait, they're gonna wait, wait, they they trying to the bills like last week. They signed Tariq Hill? Yeah, you should give him some they gave him some cheese too, bro. I did not see Tariq Hill get signed. Yeah. Get that boy some cheese. I said, oh, that's love. I didn't see that. That did not come up on my radar. Said Bill signed a Tyreek Hill, 70 million. Wait, who said that? Uh Victory Part? Or is a source? Let me see. Don't get me on here looking crazy. Yeah, I don't want to get you on here looking crazy, man. You about to make me call my cousin. Cause he would have told me. You know, he's like, May Day, May Day. As they were trying to like. Alright, so that's why the the person never said nothing again. Oh, yeah, but yeah, because I was like, yo, that would have been big news. Like you I clicked on the link, like, hold on. Yeah, that'd have been big news. I was like, hold on, cuz I would have seen it. Oh, these comments is crazy. Yeah, I've seen that. You know it'd be fake news out here. Yeah. You know, oh, this is this page is ridiculous. It said, Well, Beckham and Green three years from Eddie Mill with New York Giants. I'm out. I'm out. Yeah, you know it's fake news, man. That's fake news, man. I hit just dawn on like I didn't see that last week, and now that I just clicked on it. I'm glad I know now. Yeah, I'd have been getting the season count. I'm like, damn, Tariq at Tarekad. He's so he's playing with the Chiefs or somebody again. Yeah, they just they definitely just let him go though. That's crazy. I seen that coming on, man. It ain't all his fault though. I mean, I I mean Miami was supposed to be one of them teams that's putting up points, but like when it comes down to it, they don't do nothing. Yeah, did they get snubbed? They had to go on the plane to uh get into the that's crazy. That's wow. Wow, man. It's crazy, man. It's the crazy sports thing we live in, man. Yeah, man. Um you know me. That's all I really watch, been watching though. Start watching ball again. I do my boxing all the time. Um we'll start doing some more episodes. Uh, we should try to do this every week, actually, bro. I'm gonna try. So I'm gonna get at you. Yeah, man. I told you, I told you, man. I'm always time. I mean, I be I be I don't know, I'll be working a lot, but you know what I'm saying, but it's uh I'm always down. You know what I'm saying? I get off around about so uh I work in the hospital from seven to three, and then I work at the recenter, and then so I'm almost I'm like 8:39. I'm always you know, I'm always down. So that's perfect. We're gonna make it happen because you know get a little nice little playoff push. So by the time the playoffs come, we already set seal. Yeah, and if the caves, I'm not gonna lie, the cavaliers, uh the cavaliers f me over again, bro. Because remember, I told you last time they do it to me again, I ain't got nothing, and pause, I ain't got nothing for them. Yeah, it's crazy. I don't think nothing for them, yo. They if they don't if they don't make it this time, bro, because them them the the two years, like two years ago, and I was like, yo, Cleveland gonna, and they let me I remember that they let New York beat them. I said, get the fuck out of here, yo. That's just some bullshit. I said I said LA though, so I can't be no better. Ain't nothing wrong with that though. Listen, man, and shout out to Cade. You know, he you know he ain't gonna win MVP this year because he got the collapse lung, but they're gonna rob him though. Shout out to Cade though, which is great, man. Collapse lung. Shout out to Cade. Shout out to Cade, man. He definitely shout out to him. To me, he's the best point guard in the league, hand down. I don't fuck with nobody. Today he is today. I don't care what nobody says. You can say Shay, you can say Luca. Man, that boy played on defense, and that boy, then that boy averaged 11 assists with 25 points. See, that's the difference. He played both ends. Like he really played not, he don't play lanes. No, he don't play lanes, he up on you. He bro. My favorite. He one of my favorite to watch. Man, I like besides book, it's my favorite to watch. All right, it's nothing. You can't tell me nothing about him. Like he made it. You kind of knew that was gonna happen too. Yeah, you know, it was just like well, two years ago, they was just the worst team in the league, and then they made the playoffs last year, and now they have number one seed in the east. That's how the teams go nowadays, man. They be like corny one year, and the next year they get that that that breakthrough, and then the third year be like, yo, they yeah, they just shoot up out of nowhere. Remember, Phoenix did that? Remember, they had that year in the bubble where they was fighting this fight, man. Yeah, then the next year they went to the Chris Paul, they end up going to the gym. Yeah, that's how it'd be, man. I wouldn't be mad at Detroit go because I know we ain't going, so I don't even got nothing to say. I would man Detroit goes. I'd be so happy for them. You know what's my dream though? Before we get off here, because I don't want to take out too much more of your time. You know what my dream man? I want booked to go to Detroit so bad, be in that backcourt with K. Oh man. I would love to be crazy. I would love oh man, because if them two can somehow play together, that's all they missing. They don't need nothing else. He just needs K just need somebody on the other side of them that can score the ball. And Booker also passed the ball too, though. That's the crazy. Get you eight nine assists. As long as Phoenix don't get cat. All right, just don't get stay away from cat. Oh man, no, man. I'll be I'll be yours. I'll be at work, man. I'll be like, give us Joe. I want Joe. I want Joe. If if if Book, well, I know Book gonna stay in Phoenix and he's gonna go nowhere. But if they have to get anything, because they already like loaded up. If they have to get anything, they have to get somebody that can score the inside. Zion Williams would be the perfect face for Phoenix. Wow, that's all they missing. Because like when they can't hit a jump shot, because offense is three and defense. They don't got no they don't got nobody inside where they can get, they can be like, yo, all right, I'm gonna hand it to you real quick. Go get his bucket, like because you know, book gonna have to take a mid tough mid range sometimes. Or he's gonna get there, he's gonna do his thing, he's gonna be booked. But to take the pressure off him, but they have somebody that can just like Zion, Zion, the only thing that they really missing. Zion would be crazy over there. What the picket roll with Jalen Green and Zion or picket roll with Book and Oh my god, yeah. Yeah, be crazy, man. What's you thinking? I wouldn't even think of that. That's crazy. What's you thinking? I don't want no other player. That's if they can go next year and get Zion if Book wanna stay. That's that's what they that's the only thing they really missing for from the Pelicans ain't doing nothing ultimately. So that's what I'm saying. Like, they be trying to get all these first rounders, he ain't even doing nothing. Like, he ain't even doing nothing. No effects, bro. Yeah, man. Yeah, but um ain't gonna hold you too much longer, bro. I appreciate you coming on tonight. You're talking sports with me. Um we'll be back next week. We're just gonna say that now. We'll be back speaking to existence. We'll be back at the end. Yeah, cool, man. Talk some more sports, bro. Yeah, you know. Sure. Um, make a nice playoff push. Yeah, yeah, playoff should be coming up soon. This yeah, probably back in a couple weeks. Mid April, yeah, I think. It should be coming. Yeah, yeah. So we're right on time to get the ball rolling. Then yeah, yeah, we should do a little bracket and everything. Yeah, that's cool. We could do that. We could do that for sure. We can do that. All right, it's a bet. All right, thanks for coming through, bro. You already know. Step up on sports. My man feek strand in the billion. See, I holla at you. You already know.
