Today on the Private Investigator Experience Podcast. I'm your host, Phil Little. We usually talk about the cases and life of a PI, but look at international events that could be affecting us here at home. First, I would like to thank all of you who have been subscribing and sharing the posts. I'm so grateful and that helps us grow the channel and helps us in the future make a better product. Can I say Happy New Year? We've had a sad start to 2025 with The events in New Orleans and in Las Vegas, and I'm afraid from my past experience that this is a signal of more to come in 2025. It seems like we've crossed over into a different society than 50 years ago. We would have said there's no way. Our country would deteriorate into this violent explosion by those who want to change our way of life. How did we get here? What happened at the time? We could leave our doors unlocked, know our neighbors, get along with friends who had different viewpoints than us, and everything revolved around our family, God, and who was the center of our lives. The glue that held us together was personal ethics and integrity. Your word was your bond. I grew up on a farm in Missouri. My dad was a man of his word. I heard that from everybody around the community. When he said something, it happened. You would shake hands on the deal. You didn't need contracts. Now we only need contracts for everyone else to know what is going on. The glue that held us together was our personal ethics and integrity. Loving our neighbors as ourselves and being available to those, uh, uh, who needed help in time of need. We need to have secure borders and those we've let in, by, legal immigration, who integrated it into our way of life with the language and respect for our constitution and our bill of rights that gave them the opportunity to work hard and to be successful in what they wanted to do. Well, how do we get from that time today to January 1, 2025, with the forces of evil, who want to change our way of life, destroy our God and I want to take away our freedom to force us to worship gods of stone who don't have life or they want to protect life. Yes, we in America believe and want to protect those who don't want to believe like we do. As long as they don't try to force their way down on us or enslave us. Our success as a nation is one who cherishes freedom and individual rights to make their own own choices in how they want to live. We realize as Americans our rights don't infringe on someone else's and so we live within the law that we were given by God and it's been enshrined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. You know, I think that the average people, we don't have to have Elon Musk the bus like you. We can agree that in 2008, A divide was started between, uh, races that was accelerated to warp speed in the last four years. The rule of law was ignored. The justice depar department was weaponized against their political opppnents said the press covered it all up. Our country was sold out by those in power, the FBI, which had been the standard in the world. It lost its glitter. I had countless conversations with officials around the world, talking about the professionalism and how the world class FBI was a gold standard in the world. You know, those conversations started back in the seventies when I was at the beginning of my career, running around the world and continued up to a few years ago, but that has all changed now. When I talked to my friends out around the world, they shared a dismay at how the events in the U. S. resemble a banana republic. When I left, law enforcement to enter the private sector, I had some experience in the importance of intelligence gathering. That interest increased from a friend and mentor, the chief of police in Buena Park, California. He had a department then of about 120 officers, but even with that small department, he had a three man intelligence unit, and he drilled into me. The importance of intelligence gathering and building my files for the future. I listened and I've learned. The next move forward for me was when I was on the board of a group going into Israel that, led me to going into northern Israel and southern Lebanon and learning firsthand about terrorism. By the early 80s, with trips to Europe and Interpol, I saw the opportunity to set up and build that International Intelligence Gathering Group. Small units, one or two people in each country with on call peoples to support operational needs. Over the next years, I built stations around the world. And develop human agents on the ground, providing weekly or monthly reports on events of interest to me in their countries. Now, is just a reference to human resources, people, resources, not cameras, not satellites. Not listing on the phones, but in those days, the human side was the critical side. After the attacks on 9 11 in 2001, I found what I had built was useful for both the private and government sectors that saw that I had something that even some of the government agencies didn't have. Over those next years after 9 11, I found that I was able to Help by being involved in both, private and government sectors in utilizing, um, assets that I had the experience that I had to help stop terrorism and terrorist from gaining entry to the United States. And when we look at that era with all that was going on, not only what we were doing, but many others, it was pretty successful. And we were able to stop terrorist activities before they occurred. Well, what do we have to do to go back to the basics of having a safe environment to raise our families to work in? And yes, to have some fun in. in a recent post that some companies that would come to West Coast Detectives for help They had neglected preventing measures which allowed those focused on criminal activities to flourish in their companies. And I would hear from many of those, companies, executives that were a family company. We don't want to have visible security or put up any kind of barriers because or hard access or cameras, because we just want to be a family operation and we don't want to make our employees feel like they're being watched. And after I would do security audits on these companies, I found that many of their good employees left because of the lack of security and controls that allowed the bad employees to create a negative work environment, to create theft, drugs, and other activities. The people who are in your company who, wanted to do bad things. like it that when you don't have preventive security. soft and nice doesn't work because the employee who's looking for trouble won't be deterred by kind employers. The same with the country. When you open up your borders to anyone who wants to come into your country. and then the citizens who are playing by the rules, they become the victims. The problem we face in 2025, it's not just from one cause. The illegal invasion from all over the world is just one of the symptoms of a much bigger problem. But coupled with an open border, there's many problems. One, is foreign dictators see the opportunity to empty out their jails, get rid of all the bad guys from their country, send them over to the U. S., and we just let them in over the last four years. Even though we knew many of these had criminal backgrounds. It has been reported. by the government, that there's at least a million of illegals that got in that have criminal, pasts from their own countries. Also, it's been reported, I think some, some pretty accurate sources of what I've been able to verify that there is, upwards of at least a thousand and probably more of trained terrorists who were trained somewhere in an Al Qaeda, ISIS or other format, Egypt, places where Terrorist groups are flourishing. They've been trained. They're in place. They were able to walk across the border and say, I want asylum. I'm just a terrorist who's looking for a new home. And they got in. Second, we saw benefits being given to illegals, which took resources from the local citizens and the rights to their community benefits that they were Put out of the schools in many cases, told to keep your kids at home and do homeschooling or zoom or something because we had need these schools to house our illegal, immigrants that have come in. Thirdly, with the rise of sanctuary states and cities, criminals are protected and everybody waits right back into the street. Local citizens pay the price. Fourth, Crime of all types increase due to this lack of execution and penalties for breaking the law. Fifth, communities are overrun with drug use on their streets, in their parks and communities. It's not safe for people to go out of their own homes and walk their own streets. I asked again, what can we do? Yes, close the border to only legal, immigration. But at the forefront, due to the numbers of known people connected to terrorist groups, we have to go back to the backbone of intelligence gathering, human investigation. yes, we must close the border and get control of who's coming in now, but our national investigation agencies have to staff up and identify where the estimated at least 1, 000 trained terrorists are at and go after them. First, pick up the ones that can be found easily, activate teams to work the list, and go after all that are on the list. Add agents to monitoring social media for threats, and when identified, act before the event occurs. Identify where events are taking place that foster violent acts against Americans, and expand the human, Agents to infiltrate where possible, but if not, at least do covert surveillance and, prepare prevention measures. This is not a quick solution. It will take time, resources, manpower, and most of all, a new direction from Washington on what is important for our federal agencies. We have to get back to the FBI becoming the gold standard of the world. We have to Eliminate DEI and get common sense back into the criteria our agencies have for selecting job placement in these agencies. Job placement should only be based on who is the most qualified candidate. Not on race or gender or anything else, who's the best qualified. That's what happens usually in the private sector. Those that aren't using DEI, DEI will expose all of us as citizens. If it is used improperly. There's much to do, but together we can make a difference. Become your own investigator. And remember, prevention is much better than enforcement. Would you become part of our team by liking, sharing, subscribing, and you know the drill, hit that notification bell for future posts.
