Welcome to plant-ark’s Climate change and plants podcast. This time we’re going to take a walk together through a tropical savannah (sometimes called “prairie” region and discover the plants growing there.
We’ve previously taken a walk through typical Tropical Rainforest and Tropical Monsoon zones. As precipitation in our tropical monsoon becomes less and less abundant, we find ourselves leaving the dense growth of a tropical Monsoon region and “stretching our eyes" as we enjoy the contrast of the vast plains and open skies of the last of our tropical zones – the Tropical Savanna.
