Tom Sandoval's Lawsuit Against Ariana Madix & The Boys S4
In this week's episode, we dive into the legal drama involving Rachel or Rocky Leviss, Tom Sandoval, and Ariana Madix. We also cover the messy relationships between Tom and Rachel's lawyers, Tom's countersuit, and the public's collective outrage over Tom's countersuit. Plus, we ask why the hell was Tom and his current girlfriend, Victoria, on IG Live at 4AM. If you want to watch it all, shout out to account BravoBuds for screen recording it all (link here).
Switching gears, we discuss the latest season of "The Boys." From its handling of sensitive topics to its narrative highs and lows, we reflect on the importance of ending a series at its peak. We speculate on future plotlines, including Ryan's role and Soldier Boy's potential return, plus touch on unresolved storylines like Ashley's superpower.
Don't forget to tune in next week when we plan to discuss "Phantasma." Until then, feel free to leave us a voicemail or drop us some fan mail.
Welcome to High Low Brow, the show with highbrow takes on lowbrow culture. I'm your one host, Amanda Scriber.
Speaker 2:And I'm your cacha Zomolachikova River Gilbert. Oh, I think I'm the Katya of the two of us.
Speaker 1:Ah yeah, I would say.
Speaker 2:I mean, I think, You're the successful business mogul and I'm the one who doesn't want to work and has mental health problems.
Speaker 1:I mean, when you break it out that way yes, yeah, I was like before.
Speaker 2:I was probably more of the Kasia PR pre-river Definitely, definitely, definitely, but as a card-carrying, burnt-out gifted kid like no, not anymore.
Speaker 1:Not anymore, baby.
Speaker 2:Hey, emma. What's making your brain go brr this week?
Speaker 1:Let me in now.
Speaker 2:Is it?
Speaker 1:actually yes, oh, my god. So I am so happy that you introduced me to that TikTok sound. For those of you who may not be on that side of TikTok or haven't seen Long Legs, which we kind of talked about, yeah, it was fun, yeah, our last step. It's fine and I'm so happy because I have talked to several other people and they're like the marketing was great, but the movie is like whatever.
Speaker 2:It's fine.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, and like it makes me so happy that we are not the only ones who thought this no? Yeah, yeah, yeah, and that also. People like critics are just like assholes.
Speaker 2:Yeah, kind of Critics are just like assholes. Yeah, kind of, but that specifically is a song that Nick Cage sings in the movie.
Speaker 1:Yeah, isn't it in? Like the first?
Speaker 2:like no, it's like halfway through, like three quarters of the way through, because it's a flashback.
Speaker 1:Okay, but like that TikTok trend they're using sort of a still or an image from the first sort of they're both Okay.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it happens twice. But he only sings the song once towards the latter half of the movie. Yes, yeah, so things I found out recently. Apparently, the background about Longlegs is that he is a former glam rocker. Oh, which is why they make the references to t-rex exactly, and he also the reason he looks the way he does is because he has got botched plastic surgery in like the 70s and then he went from plastic surgeon to plastic surgeon trying to unbotch it and his face just kept getting more and more fucked up.
Speaker 2:Gender affirming care, I know, and apparently he also wasn't always a devil worshiper.
Speaker 1:Well, you know, here's the thing.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:How were we supposed to get any of that from the film I?
Speaker 2:know, that's my biggest thing. I'm like I love it when things have like lore and don't like hold your hand all the way through and you really have to read into it. But it's like how the fuck were we supposed to know that? We just thought he was a fucked up looking guy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they didn't allude to any of that. There was those T-Rex posters up in his room, but like that's it. Anyways, we need to talk about the trend, not talk about the long legs, lore.
Speaker 2:Everybody is doing that now.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so there's this trend on TikTok. You sent it to me first because you were like have you seen this? I was like, no, I have not. And basically it's the song. Let me in now and it could be nice, and it's that still. But some people are also not using the still.
Speaker 2:They're also just like Doing their little hand dance.
Speaker 1:Yeah, tutting yeah, and they're either talking about like me at the bodega at like 3 am, 3 or 1 am Trying to get a kebab. Yeah, kebab.
Speaker 2:Kebab.
Speaker 1:That was so Canadian Kebab, kebab. Let me get the kebab.
Speaker 2:Kebab. See, it was just how I say kebab, because it was in Flight of the Conchords.
Speaker 1:I see Kebab Kebab or my dog, at Whenever I close any door.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Like genuinely the best trend ever.
Speaker 2:It's pretty good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm like, wow, this is the most relatable thing ever.
Speaker 2:There have been a couple of attempts at the.
Speaker 1:Mama, daddy, save me from this hell.
Speaker 2:Honestly as good.
Speaker 1:No, it's still not bad and honestly I, I have to say nick cage's performance is the best part of the movie well, yes, but what I was gonna say is the trends best part of the movie. Yeah, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. By extension yeah, and like don't go see the movie, Just watch the Trends, you'll be okay. Yeah, it's fine. What's making your break over?
Speaker 2:It's still Joyride, okay, but there was a brief point in time where, temporarily, it was Drake's dad's version of Not Like Us.
Speaker 1:Is that real or is it air? Oh no, it's not real.
Speaker 2:It's not actually Drake's dad, but it's somebody pretending to be Drake's dad after. Actually, he's like they, not like us. It's so good.
Speaker 1:Actually speaking of Drake, for those of you who know, we are located in toronto there was a huge rainstorm this week. So many things got flooded, including drake's house, and he called it espresso martini he said this better be espresso martini and it's like brad, you're, you're nobody wants to hear from you right now not not only just that it's like. So his mansion, his house, is located in a very like it's in Forest Hill, right? No, forest Hill, it's in Bridal Path, bridal Path.
Speaker 2:Thank you. I was like it's one of the two, yeah.
Speaker 1:So it's located in the Bridal Path, which is like where all the very like rich rich Old money. Old money of Toronto lives um and um.
Speaker 2:Sorry Ocean just jumped into our bookshelf and that that was something that's never happened yeah, that was very weird.
Speaker 1:We had to, we had to take a moment to acknowledge that. Bridal path, Bridal path. So lots of old money. And you would think, because when Drake was in the process of building this home, he broke actually a lot of like I don't want to say laws, but Toronto has a lot of bylaws.
Speaker 2:They sure do.
Speaker 1:In terms of what you can and cannot do when you're building a home. So, for example, your fence can only be.
Speaker 2:However, high Six feet, eight feet if you're on a corner.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and he built much larger fences and so he had to apply for some.
Speaker 2:Exceptions yeah.
Speaker 1:Because he was like I'm a celebrity, people are going to try and like drive down and take photos, so there was a bunch of stuff like this. Anyways, my point is is that you would think if he was doing all this to build this house and we know because we're in the middle of you know, renovating a house he would have tried if he was waterproofing or sump pump.
Speaker 2:You know the things that they're like. Hey, do you want to make sure that like correcting the grade?
Speaker 1:Yeah, any of these things to make sure that, like if a large amount of water water, because Toronto is built in a basin where there's lots of water. That can you know, ruin your home.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's also got shit, infrastructure yeah.
Speaker 1:So maybe, maybe he would have just tried to correct that with all the All the money. Millions of dollars that he has. Like we don't have that, we're doing it, no, so I was just like you. Know what Bruh he deserves? We don't have that, we're doing that. No, so I was just like you know what Bruh Bruh. He deserves this. You deserve this, ugh yeah.
Speaker 2:What are we talking about this week?
Speaker 1:Well, we're talking about two things, uh-huh. One is this latest season of the Boys.
Speaker 2:The Boys. It's just finished, just finished.
Speaker 1:And then also, before we talk about this latest season of the Boys, the Boys, it's just finished, just finished. And then also, before we talk about this latest season of the Boys, I think we need to talk about the situation that is happening with Tom Sandoval and Ariana.
Speaker 2:And Rachel.
Speaker 1:Well, Rachel is involved too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah. So what happened exactly?
Speaker 1:Well, there was a judge that made a ruling that said essentially for those of you who have been following, rachel or Rocky or whatever her name is now yeah, she brought a case forward for revenge porn because, Tom Sandoval essentially recorded a very private conversation where they were involved in, how you say, phone sex, but over the webcam. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Webcam phone sex.
Speaker 1:FaceTime, that's the one. Yeah, and she was unaware that it was being recorded. It was done without her consent or knowledge. It was being recorded, it was done without her consent or knowledge. So when Arianna was given Tom's phone, and she saw it. Yeah, she sent it to herself and I think she sent it to Rachel to be like you're.
Speaker 2:This you yeah.
Speaker 1:Like this. You, you're disgusting. Yada, yada, yada. So Rachel has brought a case forward against both Ariana and Tom Tom for essentially recording it without her knowledge and Ariana for distribution. Yep, part of the distribution case against Ariana is that it was also distributed to others. From my knowledge and understanding and again we're doing a very high level sort of recap of all of this my knowledge and understanding with the case against Ariana is that Ariana and her lawyer have sort of Ariana turned over her phone. She sort of like she has been very compliant.
Speaker 2:Yeah, forthcoming, and like yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:She has done everything that they have asked her to do.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and she gave a statement, you know, saying these are the things that I did, and she is not like, she's not said that she didn't do anything. She said that she did send. She sent it to herself because she didn't want anything.
Speaker 2:she said that she did send. She sent it to herself because she didn't want to have to rely on tom and he came deleting the message. Yeah, she sent it to rachel.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then she said she deleted it yeah, so those are the things that we know now. I think ariana and tom both filed some type of like not a countersuit, but some sort of injunction saying like, hey, we're hoping that the case can be dropped based on these things. A judge ruled this week saying no, the case cannot be dropped, it's going to go forward, it's going to be brought to a jury forward, it's going to be brought to a jury. Okay, um, so that is where we are brought to this week, where I guess one of the other things that I will mention, because it does play into the next step, is that rachel rocky, whatever her name is- let's just call her r is.
Speaker 2:Let's just call her Rachel. Yeah, let's just call her Rachel, that's her name.
Speaker 1:Her lawyer and Tom Sandoval's lawyer are actually brothers, yeah.
Speaker 2:Well. Which is very Some might call that a conflict of interest.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Some people have been speculating about Like there's, that's a little strange, uh--huh. Just keep that in mind, okay this is new information to me yeah, yeah, chronically online yeah, so I am very deep in this. So essentially this week the judge ruled saying, nope, everything needs to go forward. And then tom I think it was on wednesday or thursday counters and decides to sue ariana and says that for also revenge porn yes because he is technically in the video as well yes, says that you know I'm going to be suing ariana.
Speaker 1:It's a counter suit.
Speaker 2:Yada, yada, yada yeah basically, if, if I go down for this, ariana's gonna have to bear all the responsibility yes, and let's just say collectively the internet lost their fucking mind. I mean it, it was Tom Sandoval, the most hated man in the United States. Volume 2. Now that's what I call hating Tom Sandoval.
Speaker 1:And not only just that he filed this lawsuit, him and his girlfriend Victoria deactivated their social accounts, which then meant that the Schwartz and Sandy restaurant account. All of the hate was being directed to their social comments, and Greg, as we know him from you know. Greg the Scientologist, yeah, From the very few times that we have seen him on television, was starting to answer comments online and was like we never got a heads up about this either, and we are pissed.
Speaker 2:And Schwartz started removing photos of the two of them together.
Speaker 1:Sheena made a video.
Speaker 2:Sheena made a video.
Speaker 1:Being like this is fucking stupid.
Speaker 2:You called Rachel evil for doing this to Ariana, and now you went around and did exactly the same thing.
Speaker 1:It's like what the fuck?
Speaker 2:is wrong with you.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and you know, I asked you not to make a fool of me and now, like you, went and did exactly that.
Speaker 2:She does boo-boo the fool.
Speaker 1:Yeah, boo-boo the fool, like literally boo-boo the fool, it was wild.
Speaker 2:So 24 hours later.
Speaker 1:It was like you know. Insert Spongebob.
Speaker 2:Yeah, 24 hours later, yeah.
Speaker 1:All of a sudden, Tom and Victoria are back up on social. Tom releases a statement that essentially is like oh shit, man.
Speaker 2:We didn't know what legal meant, so we just thought this was like a statement, not a suit. So I followed what my lawyer was saying and like that's so bad, like no, no, that's bad. So we fired him, yeah and we're gonna drop that yeah I just want to move on bruh. This was also, and like 24 hours before that, we saw him and victoria zooted out of their minds yeah, saying they were sober four in the morning being like we're sober on live.
Speaker 1:Yeah, doing an IG live, being like we're like sober. It's like you know, we just wanted to be on IG.
Speaker 2:It is a train wreck Like I am genuinely unsure of what's going to happen next.
Speaker 1:So here's my thought. So one I think Tom is actually stupid enough that his lawyer did come to him and say hey, this is what I think is the next step that you need to do for this case, for xyz, reason 100, because if, like, you're not gonna win, so you need to do this in order to protect yourself that's what I believe, yeah like, and it makes sense because they're not going to win no, so I think that did happen. However, I don't think that did happen. However, I don't think that like.
Speaker 2:Oh, he was 100% briefed, fully, he fully understood the ramifications and he was like yeah, fuck Ariana.
Speaker 1:Yeah, what a lot of people have brought up is that this is also 100% narcissistic partner court, triangulation and abuse 100%. Which, like you see so often, and this is just Tom trying to pit both Rachel and Ariana against one another.
Speaker 2:Yeah, oh, for sure. It's so obvious what he's doing. Also, rachel's PR person is starting to like I'm going to answer all the questions you guys have about the lawsuit, and it's like girl what?
Speaker 1:Yeah, like this entire thing is so messy and I just like how, what I don't understand. I just like how, what I don't understand, like, in all of this, ariana and her team lawyer whomever has stayed so like above board.
Speaker 2:Well, she has the moral high ground.
Speaker 1:Yes, of course, I'm just like what is wrong with these people.
Speaker 2:It is wild. I'm just like what is wrong with these people?
Speaker 1:It is wild Also, throughout all of this as well, people have just been, like you know, for Rachel and Tom to keep being like we just want to move on with our lives. They keep not moving on with their lives.
Speaker 2:And it's everybody's like. This is like confirmation of the death of Vanderpump Rules. Yeah, and it's like kinda you can't just sue your castmates.
Speaker 1:Well, another thing. That's sort of what I found really interesting, and like him coming back 24 hours later being like oops, I didn't mean to do that was.
Speaker 2:Steve Urkel I did, did, I do, that Did.
Speaker 1:I do that Was I bet you cause like you. You know greg being like we didn't know about this. I bet you bravo, evolution. Lisa vanderpump, like tom, did not think about all the other people who are involved like tangentially related. Yeah, yeah it's like no, you, you make your paycheck based on other people. So sure, this lawyer is advising you, but then you need to go and speak to other people you need to talk to.
Speaker 2:You know the lawyers at the show that you work on and be like hey, is there legal implications if I do this because he's telling me and my own best interest?
Speaker 1:but what does this mean for? The future of the show it's like the future of the show. My restaurant with lisa yeah, I met my restaurant with Greg my like. It's like. This man has half a brain cell that he just needed to rub together.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I mean it was definitely Schwartz's day with the brain cell.
Speaker 1:I can't wait to see how this all turns out, it's going to be wild, buckle up.
Speaker 2:Speaking of wild yeah, we finished the Boys season four.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we sure, certainly, we certainly did we certainly did.
Speaker 2:What did you think? Uh, speaking of wild, yeah, we finished the boys season four.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we sure, certainly, we certainly did, we certainly did uh, what did you think of this season? I thought this season was intense.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I thought it was very heavy-handed yeah but on the other hand I love the fact that the conservatives and republicans and the far right didn't realize that. But it's the wait. Is this show about us? Wait us no, it's like guys come on yeah, so like well, yeah, basically like this season was straight up, just well, the fact that they had, like a whole situation happening on January 6th.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah. It was literally like we're not even going to try and like sugarcoat this right away, we're just gonna.
Speaker 2:Yeah Well, they introduced Firecracker.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:And she's very much the far right sycophant, q anon, deep state conspiracy theorist, yes, um, and she did a lot of heavy lifting this season in terms of just painting. No, no, guys, this is the bad place yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:And then there was yeah, it was the woman of color behind the scenes kind of orchestrating everything, which I found very interesting. Who do you think that was supposed to be in, like?
Speaker 2:real life might be able to make an argument that it's like it could be international voices. It could be, she could be the putin, but it's not. She's not the putin because she's supposed to be the smartest person in the world yeah, I'm like no, it's I. I think it's just. She's kind of a deus ex machina where it's like we need, we've painted. Homelander is not smart homelander is not smart. Homelander is not smart we need somebody to be smart.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I also thought it was very interesting that Butcher was sort of like losing their mind.
Speaker 2:Yeah Well. So after we finished the season, I started reading comics. Butcher is very different in the comics.
Speaker 1:Oh really.
Speaker 2:In that he is a psychopath. He is like at the end spoilers at the end of the season you see him struggling kind of like with whether he wants to develop this uh virus that's going to be strong enough to kill homelander but as a result, because it's so strong that it can kill homelander, it's also going to kill all of the Supes. And he's like battling himself and then the guy in his brain takes over and he's like, yep, nope, we're going full genocide.
Speaker 1:But then the comic books, he's just full genocide the whole time it's just all gas, no brakes yeah, I also was like the way they were sort of talking about the virus in the in the show. It was like, oh, is this supposed to be like a covet equivalent?
Speaker 2:I don't think so, yeah, but I mean like it could be something like plandemic.
Speaker 1:Yeah, inspired yeah, because, because so many things were they were trying to map it out to what was happening in real life. I was like, oh, are they trying to make this like?
Speaker 2:and I think that's where this season kind of fell short for me was, because it was so heavy-handed with like no see, this is what's happening. I'm like, yeah, I mean, we got it this whole time guys yeah, we get it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I did like that. They actually gave a nod to toronto because they filmed in toronto and they were like oh, I'm just in toronto right now that's the only place I can talk safely.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they had the cn tower in the background yeah, it was like hey yeah, yeah. I mean I think the season was good. It was very shocking in a lot of ways. The ending was the last 20 minutes was just like.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I was like oh, this is so depressing.
Speaker 2:Where do we go?
Speaker 1:from here.
Speaker 2:Yeah, ryan's heel turn and Butcher developing snake powers and tearing Vic in half.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:That was wild.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:They sent Vic's daughter to the same place that she grew up, yep, which is like. She's like, please don't do that, yeah, which is weird, because where's her dad, didn't they?
Speaker 1:kill him.
Speaker 2:No, he got out. Didn't they kill him didn't? No, he got out. Remember he stabbed uh kamiko with the virus.
Speaker 1:So frenchie has to hack off her leg and he runs.
Speaker 2:I guess we'll find out, I guess. Uh kamiko talks yeah, she yells no in the most heartbreaking season.
Speaker 1:Uh scene of the series, I think I like when that happened, I almost cried I know which I think it's. That's what it's supposed to do absolutely it's supposed to have a raw emotion, yeah what else?
Speaker 2:oh, we gotta talk about starlight's reaction to huey being coerced into sex because that was uncomfortable for me. Yeah, you were very upset about it yeah, not to say I wasn't, no, no, no, you were, you paused it and you were like so recap, there's a shapeshifter. Yeah, the shapeshifter takes on starlight's body and basically seduces and sleeps with huey who huey is sure is actually ann and it's fine, yeah, and this happens like apparently about 20 times in the past 10 days, and they'd be fucking.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and Starlight loses it, and you paused it and you're like it's not really his fault, though, is it? And I was like, well, seeing as he was lied to about who he was having sex with, in no ways was that his fault. And then her response being like you better get fucking tested, because you're not giving me it. And it's like, wow, that is a not, that's really not.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's like okay, like fair. You don't want to get 100%. But also maybe have a little bit of compassion and like I get it.
Speaker 2:She went through her own stuff and like meanwhile she's like Huey's off fucking this shapeshifter.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but like but he didn't know yeah. Like how are you supposed to know?
Speaker 2:Yeah, no, that part made me feel very uncomfortable and the fact that it felt like they kind of played it as a joke, I was like guys, I don't know about that. Mind you, this is a series that deals with like sexual assault, with like all the gravity of a feather, so like it is not treated like all the gravity of a feather, so like yes, it is not treated like the first season where annie has to give the deep a blow job. Yeah, I don't know. Uh, fifth season's gonna be the last.
Speaker 1:Yes, I think that's time honestly what I appreciate about the fifth season being the last, or just like any TV show when they're like this is going to be aired last season. It's like just when you know to call it.
Speaker 2:it's like yeah we told their story. We told the story we wanted to tell.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's like when not that this is the same, but when Schitt's Creek was also like, yeah, we're done. Yeah, Like, just end it when you are happy with where you want to end it yes 100%. There's no point in drawing out things.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, I'm very interested to see what's going to happen next. Like I've seen buzz online about, like Ryan's not going to end up killing Homelander, he's going to kill Butcher, okay. Yeah, yeah, I'm like that probably would make sense yeah. I don't know whether they're gonna end on like a dystopian note or if they're going to end on a semi-uplifting note maybe Ryan will kill Butcher and Homelander. Maybe apparently there was a post credit that we missed Soldier Boy's back back.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, okay, maybe we need to go back and watch that, yeah.
Speaker 2:So there's a, there's a lot. We also need to know what Ashley's superpower is, because she took a compound V Right. We talked about that and all of her hair fell out.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and we were like Ashley took compound V and then she like never came back that episode.
Speaker 2:Yeah, her hair fell out and she got naked and that was it, and we're like huh, okay. All right.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I felt one of the things that I felt with the finale was that things happened but it didn't like there were some things that got introduced that didn't get tied up.
Speaker 2:And I'm fine with that, like the way that this differs from the bear season four, yeah where everything felt like it was like loose ends, whereas this was like, oh no, there's resolutions, there's story plots that happened exclusively in this season, yeah, and ended in this season, and there's ones that were continued, started in previous season, that ended this season, and there's some start that started later on and that were continued, and I'm like great storytelling, wonderful yeah yeah, I mean, I think I had mentioned to you that the bear actually was filmed as two different, like there's to be a part one and part two.
Speaker 1:Well, that's how they should have marketed it I know. Season three part one. Season three part two.
Speaker 2:But they are going to be releasing it next summer, in 2025. They said, like we always do every summer Apparently, they do not know whether or not this season's going to be the last. The season five is going to be the last of the season four.
Speaker 2:Excuse me, of the bear yes, they don't know whether or not it's going to be the last. Apparently, the cast is, uh, a little apprehensive about that and are hoping that it is not their last, which makes me think that we're not going to get the resolution that we're hoping for in season four.
Speaker 1:Cool.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Cool. I hate that. Yeah so but, but we are going to get the resolution we're looking for in the last season of the Boys.
Speaker 2:I mean we have to.
Speaker 1:It's over, it's over it's over.
Speaker 2:Oh, I also really liked Huey's moment with his dad.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that was a good moment. Yeah Also.
Speaker 2:Oh, I also really liked Huey's moment with his dad. Yeah, that was a good moment. Also, reading the comics Huey in the comics is just straight up Simon Pegg. It's like fully just comic version Simon Pegg. So that's a little nod in the.
Speaker 1:It's very cute, yeah, yeah. And when his dad became a soup.
Speaker 2:Yeah, his mom gave him compound V and then he accidentally killed a bunch of people. Yeah, and his brain was still not doing. Okay.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then they had to do a spoiler alert.
Speaker 2:Put him down. Yeah, yeah, no, it was.
Speaker 1:That actually also made me cry. I know it was a very emotional moment it was a very emotional moment, absolutely. And as a person whose dad passed away with superpowers.
Speaker 2:Can I make that joke? I also have a dead dad you can, it's allowed.
Speaker 1:I was just like.
Speaker 2:I know, I know it was very.
Speaker 1:I think, seeing like dead dads, it's still gonna be tender. Oh god is it ever.
Speaker 2:Also the fact that Simon Pegg is a phenomenal actor it's true, uh, it certainly didn't help that the emotions and that, or rather tremendously helped the emotions but certainly didn't help the feeling of the emotions yes, how?
Speaker 1:How would you rate it out of 10?
Speaker 2:Out of 10?.
Speaker 1:Seven, seven and a half. Yeah, I was thinking seven too, yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm like it's not as good as the previous seasons because of that heavy handedness. It wasn't as fun as the previous seasons, but that's because they're trying to tie off all the things and life is getting fucking scary. But yeah, I think seven and a half is a fair rating.
Speaker 1:Yeah I enjoyed it. Yeah, I was like I'm not mad that we watched better than long legs which?
Speaker 2:remember was a six, so yeah, yeah, full full 10 better tell the people where they can find us.
