The Box Elder County Commission approved an ordinance and related agreement Wednesday authorizing SenaWave to operate a fiber telecommunications utility within the county. Brian Papworth, with SenaWave, told commissioners the nonexclusive franchise agreement allows the company to construct and maintain fiber infrastructure in county rights-of-way under a 10-year agreement with renewal options.
