County takes step to adjust Willard Canyon trail easement

The Box Elder County Commission has approved the first step in modifying an easement for a trail into Willard Canyon that was created last year to restore public access while gravel mining continues in the area. Following a public hearing on March 11, commissioners voted to vacate a portion of the existing trail right-of-way so the route can be temporarily relocated away from active mining operations.
