Perry moves to rejoin Tree City USA

Perry officials discussed rejoining the Tree City USA program Thursday, including a requirement to adopt an annual Arbor Day proclamation and demonstrate ongoing investment in tree care. Perry City Administrator Robert Barnhill said the designation can help with grant opportunities but is also intended as a recognition of the city’s commitment to trees.
