Perry cancels two April meetings

Perry officials expect to cancel both of the city’s regularly scheduled April council meetings because of conflicts with the county Republican convention and the League of Cities and Towns conference. The city would normally meet April 9 and April 23, but both dates would have to be canceled due to the conflicts. Staff proposed April 16 as a possible makeup date to present the tentative budget, but Councilmember Blake Ostler said the date would not work for him due to a family commitment.
