State park information and listening sessions scheduled for Mantua

Following much discussion of the proposal to turn Mantua Reservoir into a state park, Mantua Mayor Annette Ash has announced that on Saturday, Aug. 22, community members can hear directly from Utah Division of State Parks officials and ask questions concerning the proposal. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., representatives from Utah State Parks will present tentative plans and answer questions from residents.
