Lease for proposed Brigham City-area geothermal power project advanced by BE county commission

The Box Elder County Commission approved a lease at their July 22 meeting giving Rodatherm Energy Corporation access to geothermal resources beneath county-owned property and rights-of-way for a proposed 10-megawatt power project in the Brigham City area. The agreement covers approximately 186.4 acres of county property within a broader geothermal area extending roughly from west of Honeyville to west of Brigham City.
