#6 News on the legal requirements for the safe operation of mobile platforms

Autonomous mobile platforms, such as automated guided vehicles (AGVs), are increasingly being used in production and logistics environments. This results in legal requirements for the safety of AGVs. In this episode of our podcast series, Jürgen Bukowski, Senior Engineer in the Global Services Team of Pilz, reports on the new requirements for safety and integration of AGVs as described in the current AGV standard ISO 3691-4 and the Machinery Regulation, and how they can be implemented in practice.
