Welcome to Channel 15 Radio dot com. Old time radio drama for a new era. Our feature audio drama is THE AMBASSADOR, a fun, family-friendly, sci-fi, martial arts adventure.
The Ambassador is a highly respected older woman, not another Captain or Lost Renegade. She is not a broken relic looking for redemption. She’s good at what she does. Very good. She is slightly snarky, really likes coffee, is an adept in the martial arts, speaks multiple languages, and keeps lots of secrets. She’s still got game but she’s not a ‘young vixen’ any more. She’d like to retire. She can’t. The High Council has summoned her for a difficult new mission.
The Ambassador and her team don’t save the universe. They try to do good. Sometimes they succeed. Sometimes they fail. They are excellent at what they do. They are brilliant and humble, honest and kind. They are mostly regular, normal, outwardly average, incredibly interesting, quietly extraordinary people.

The Ambassador: Chapter 1 Departure Day Part 1

An older woman leads a tight-knit team to protect the Local Neighborhood. Together they must stop the invading Olmeri.
Chapter 1: Departure Day
In this episode: The Central Alliance High Council has called First Contact Ambassador Micha Lawrence for a dangerous mission. The invading Olmeri have been spotted just outside the Local Neighborhood, near the Hyades Cluster. The High Council wants her to go all the way out there, try to get a treaty with Ka’len and stop the Olmeri. They have assigned the Magellan to be her transport and her over watch. She talks with her friend, President Aliel Smbarak about the problem. N'amani calls to tell her he was able to get all their supplies. She recalls President Smbarak telling her that she was going to have a high-value Elronym Administrator, N'amani Anrmlar to help her with her backlog of reports. As the Ambassador finds out on their first mission, N'amani is also a capable fighter.

The Ambassador takes place in a world where integrity and honor matter, trust is earned, wits matter more than firepower, friends are the best, everybody gets a seat at the table, and the good guys win most of the time. It's a comfortable adventure that crosses generations and cultures, East and West. It takes us back to a time that never existed and shows us a future we can only imagine.
