Welcome to Channel 15 Radio dot com. Old time radio drama for a new era. Our feature audio drama is THE AMBASSADOR, a fun, family-friendly, sci-fi, martial arts adventure.
The Ambassador is a highly respected older woman, not another Captain or Lost Renegade. She is not a broken relic looking for redemption. She’s good at what she does. Very good. She is slightly snarky, really likes coffee, is an adept in the martial arts, speaks multiple languages, and keeps lots of secrets. She’s still got game but she’s not a ‘young vixen’ any more. She’d like to retire. She can’t. The High Council has summoned her for a difficult new mission.
The Ambassador and her team don’t save the universe. They try to do good. Sometimes they succeed. Sometimes they fail. They are excellent at what they do. They are brilliant and humble, honest and kind. They are mostly regular, normal, outwardly average, incredibly interesting, quietly extraordinary people.

Chapter 2 : A Dinner Party Part 1 - Preparations
In this episode: The Doctor discovers that Ka’len has cinchona trees which can be used to make quinine to treat malaria. He goes to tell The Ambassador. She is more than pleased. The treatment could make it possible to get the treaty. She calls Beth to join them to discuss recording for the archives. To their surprise, Beth is able to pick up and hold the Ambassador’s sword, Aladrel. They don’t tell Beth that she shouldn’t be able to touch the sword. They have another meeting to lay out the plan. Kell prepares for a dangerous flight into the asteroid belt. The Ambassador uses the Ancient Arts to enhance his ability to see whatever he needs to see. The Captain and Commander Brandon along with three other officers prepare to monitor Kell’s flight. Things go well. Just as he’s finishing, his cruiser is sent spinning. At first, he can’t get control of it. Then, he remembers what the Ambassador told him and he can see a way through. He returns to the Magellan. They depart for Ka’len.
The Ambassador takes place in a world where integrity and honor matter, trust is earned, wits matter more than firepower, friends are the best, everybody gets a seat at the table, and the good guys win most of the time. It's a comfortable adventure that crosses generations and cultures, East and West. It takes us back to a time that never existed and shows us a future we can only imagine.
