Speaker 3It's been such a great week.
Speaker 2It's been a while, man, we miss y'all, we miss y'all. And it's been a while. We start strong with some Deadpool, wolverine man. We just came out, we just saw it, we just came out to the theater.
Speaker 3It was amazing guys. Yeah, we watched it. We didn't go watch it Thursday night, we went to go watch it Friday night. Yes, we had to watch it ASAP because spoilers.
Speaker 1Man left and right, by the way. Spoilers in this episode, yeah, full spoilers this entire episode.
Speaker 3So hopefully, you watched it. I feel like everybody has watched it, though, because people and like all the showings were sold out, the peters went packed. No popcorn buckets left. I mean biggest r-rated opening. I don't know if it's the biggest, but one of the biggest r-rated dude, it was insane.
Speaker 1I saw the parking lot packed in some theaters that I've never seen packed before bro, never packed before like I mean not like.
Speaker 3I haven't seen anything like that since.
Speaker 1Uh, pre-pandemic pre-pandemic absolutely 100. Ipandemic Absolutely 100%. I mean, if this doesn't break record numbers.
Speaker 3All right, desi Sorry, this mask gets really hot.
Speaker 1See, that's the real Deadpool fan right here, ladies and gentlemen. He knows the cosplay struggles.
Speaker 3See, I'm already sweating.
Speaker 1It's getting hot. What was the other sound effect? Suki, I thought you updated my soundboard.
Speaker 3So behind the mask it was your boy Oski it's not Merc with a Mouth, it's not Ryan. Reynolds it's Ryan Reynolds, fucked by a Sharpay vigorously with gonorrhea very hard and did not stop. I'm a Deadpool in a universe where he runs a podcast that was dope bro. I'm Deadpool, we are Deadpool, can you please stop saying that Podpool, run some podcasts. That's dope, bro. I'm Deadpool, we are Deadpool, we are Deadpool. Can you please stop saying that? Oh man, podpool, podpool, I like that, I fucks with it. Yeah, oskipool.
Speaker 1All right, man. So let's just start out with the gate man. The cameos, the cameos are crazy.
Speaker 2You want to start showing bro Right off the of the game.
Speaker 1Give the people what they want. Give the people what they want. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2Did he spit on?
Speaker 3it before he go on. Did Deadpool? No, he did not. You got to give him the hock.
Speaker 1I still can't believe she got a reality show Anyway.
Speaker 3She got a reality show, just for saying that.
Speaker 1Did you know that, bro?
Speaker 3She just made a bunch of appearances.
Speaker 1She got a management team now and shit bro, I mean that's way to extend your 15 minutes of fame. I mean props.
Speaker 3Props, nothing but props. I'm going to reach out to your management team and have you on the podcast.
Speaker 2We're going to get you on the show. Please come on our podcast.
Speaker 1She was formerly had a hot tua. We don't have 30,000, though.
Speaker 3I think the more mainstream she gets, the more she's ashamed of the hot tua.
Speaker 1Oh man, that's why she's trying to make a symbol besides that with the show, she's still very charismatic.
Speaker 3She's a very charismatic girl.
Speaker 1But she wasn't in Deadpool and Wolverine, am I right?
Speaker 3guys, she was not, but can you imagine if they made a Hawk Tua reference?
Speaker 2They made some fucking great jokes.
Speaker 1The cameos are crazy. Off the bat, man Off the bat.
Speaker 2You know what? Okay, yeah, let's start cameos. Number one was actually the first two minutes of the movie is Hugh Jackman himself, which is a skeleton version of the Wolverine that we all love.
Speaker 3Yeah, man, that beginning.
Speaker 2Yeah, logan, bro, and you know what. It started strong with that saying as hey, so he's officially dead. He died Like the character is done, done for and we're going to have fun with it which was his corpse, you know.
Speaker 3So that also technically counts as a duo at the same time, because that was a lot of people's questions. That was a lot of questions in people's minds.
Speaker 1That's what I would say.
Speaker 3It's like how are they going to bring back Wolverine and not like?
Speaker 1tarnish that legacy.
Speaker 3Tarnish that legacy of Logan, because it was a very I mean, it's still a very good movie and they referenced it in the movie. They played a clip where he's dying and I swear to God, I teared up too, because it's such a good ending.
Speaker 1Don't be what they made you. So this is what it feels like.
Speaker 2Such a great speech.
Speaker 3It's good. So the question was how are they not going to mess up that legacy, Right?
Speaker 1off.
Speaker 3The bat is like okay let's, let's uh, exude him off the ground, put his skeleton on display and then use just 207 months, 206 months to like fuck some tva agents uh 207 when he's watching gilmore girls gossip girl, gossip girl there you go which was a reference to blake lightly being yeah, I didn't know that that was a cool fucking reference.
Speaker 1That was hilarious but uh, yeah, I mean he starts right off the gate, man, he's even said, he even says he's like I'm not proud of this, I didn't want to do this, and then he goes into the whole fucking tva thing of how it happened, which was still fucking cool and we got starfire right, or no?
Speaker 3no, it wasn't starfire, star shatter yeah shatter star, shatter star oh yeah, because it goes back. It's so funny that they bring that back from the first Deadpool movie or from the second Deadpool movie or the second one. To break down where this all really started. We got to take you back to six weeks ago.
Speaker 1Yeah, dude.
Speaker 3Which is the stuff that they did in the first one yeah. Before I put my ass into this tight spandex, let me take you back where it all started. That's right, man, you know what this is.
Speaker 1Almost that's right man.
Speaker 3You know what I mean. It's almost a four-wall break that he makes fun of all those tropes.
Speaker 1Yes, yeah, what I loved is actually the song in the beginning, the fight choreography or whatever. It reminded me of the first Deadpool, because, remember, in the first one there's the car chase scene and all the credits are showing where everybody's being fucked up, yeah.
Speaker 3It's just very reminiscent of that, so I'm glad they broughton song or something and he's fucking up bad guys throughout the world in Tokyo and Japan.
Speaker 1Oh, that's right. So again, I love that they kept that running theme.
Speaker 2They started the action right after that, right after fucking that. Yeah, it's kind of cool that the Deadpool movies kind of end up following a very specific format.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3Which is making fun format at the same time.
Speaker 1Oh, but you know what the movies are all about family bro, like a narrative in the middle of the story.
Speaker 3They are, because the first one was a love story, the second one was a family movie.
Speaker 1It's still a family movie, it's just a bigger family movie. This is a friendship movie. The F stands for family friendship and Fuck Buddy.
Speaker 3That's right buddy.
Speaker 1No man, but it is, I loved it. He's like, damn, that was perfect. Pause and clip that anyway. Um, no, it's, uh, it's great because I really enjoyed it. It was. You know, this is my whole world, this, these nine people, and I don't know how to protect it, but I need. I need help, how to do this. That was very, very cool to show, like that's, that's the growth that deadpool's had. Remember, he's been the solo guy for a lot of his whole life, which I was about to get in my future shit, but I was like my future.
Speaker 1My future said what, bro?
Speaker 2Just for you to be like this ain't working out.
Speaker 3You know that's one of my hot takes on the movie, like it doesn't make sense for Vanessa to drop his ass. That doesn't make sense at all. And then, well, the whole behind it is like Deadpool kind of went into a rut after saving the world. A depression yeah, he went into a really deep depression he wanted to stop being Deadpool and Vanessa couldn't pull him out of it.
Speaker 1So she's like I gotta move on with my life.
Speaker 3They were supposed to love each other. Like wham, with an exclamation point, he did do a lot.
Speaker 2She's just gonna walk out on him, but I figured they did it for the story. Yeah, 100% for the story, you know. Yeah, 100 for the story. Yes, just to move the narrative along, because it's like since, uh, we need, we need narrative, we need to push narrative. There's a reason here, right well, yeah, they're just like we'll figure something out. But honestly, because deadpool is so like not serious, we can. We can move along from like the fact that vanessa and, uh, deadpool didn't work out, you know yeah, that's what I think is so.
Speaker 3I think it's so because I mean, if they're really like you know, a couple are in love so much, then Vanessa has to be a big part of the movie but in the second one if you kill her off, then you don't have to have her on the movie as much in this one. If they're not together for whatever reason, she doesn't have to be in the movie as much, that's true, and it gives depth and motivation. So I mean, you know why further the plot am I right. Writing.
Speaker 1Why?
Speaker 3Why she's not together enough it gives him a really good moment at the end when he's like I did it all for you Because he didn't do it to save the world. Remember, he's not a superhero.
Speaker 2No, that's right of my nine people. The bartender dude was in there. What's his name?
Speaker 3Weasel.
Speaker 2They really had a bad breakup, I guess.
Speaker 1Yeah, I did that second one.
Speaker 2Because he gave everybody a chance. What's his name? Wesley.
Speaker 1Snipes Wait hold on bro.
Speaker 2Chill, bro, we'll get there what's? That big. Thing.
Speaker 1You're really excited to go to the big cave, bro, who's shaking?
Speaker 3Stop shitting your load, guys. Stop shitting your load. Guys, come on this time in my ears.
Speaker 2Stop shitting your load thank you, that was a good reference what's the name of the big metal dude?
Speaker 3Colossus, I came with the cameos. Come on, man.
Speaker 2Colossus did do a cameo. He was just there drinking happy birthday.
Speaker 3He was a huge part Of the first two movies he was. That makes sense. They shoved him for the show.
Speaker 2So was the bartender guy. So really it was like Damn, like I believe I believe more Reynolds Than I believe the bartender guy, cause, bro, he called you know people, you know, like Wesley Snipes.
Speaker 1I'll be chill about that, I'm sorry. I'm excited, as you guys can tell. Bro, the shit was Sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2When he showed up, I almost stood up bro.
Speaker 1Okay, let me start with I'll take a step back Happy Hogan. Happy Hogan makes him the cameo appearance Happy Hogan.
Speaker 3Yeah, I guess we can work our way through the movie in chronological order. Who's the homeboy? Homeboy that was running Tony Stark's company, the chauffeur.
Speaker 1What's your superpower? Parallel parking, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3He's like when does the big guy come in?
Speaker 1I feel like I should be saving this.
Speaker 3As far as you know, I'm the big guy. No, no.
Speaker 1No, no, no.
Speaker 3We here at the Avengers, we Avengers adjacent bro, there was so many jokes and now they'll fucking kill me. Where's your super power?
Speaker 1Parallel parking, bro, that shit roasted me dog.
Speaker 2I was fucking done. We all know our spots, just gotta find yours aim for the middle Y'all never miss.
Speaker 1Oh man, I was fucking hilarious.
Speaker 2He's gonna join the Avengers, bro. I can see that, oh, absolutely.
Speaker 1Yeah, like I said, if he becomes the future Stan Lee, and there's just a different Deadpool variant in every future.
Speaker 3Marvel movie. I'm down with that, bro. You know honestly. Well, we'll talk about where the future of VN might be later there was a Stanley cameo.
Speaker 2It kind of counts what you mean. Oh, it's from another movie, it does count.
Speaker 1I'm happy they kept it alive. How about that? I will say real quick.
Speaker 2I bet he wanted one but he never had the chance. Yeah, he had it. He's like fuck it, I'll throw it back in there one more time.
Speaker 1Yeah, he didn't get it in Deadpool 2, right, Stan Lee already passed. He had already.
Speaker 3But he was in Deadpool 1.
Speaker 1In Deadpool. 1.
Speaker 3He had already passed for Deadpool 2, but he was a DJ at the strip club.
Speaker 1Yeah, so the first one. So I was happy about that because he had made it at least in one R-rated.
Speaker 3Next up on the stage Chastity in love. But you could buy it for no, you could rent it for three minutes there you go.
Speaker 1That was fucking great man you, you.
Speaker 3Whenever things stan lee would like say it was fine man, his, his voice was so iconic dude.
Speaker 1Anyway, I digress. Um, yes, there was a stan lee cameo ultimately in. What I do want to say about this film is that it was sony's bow out to their universe. It was their perfect coup to grow to them, bro, you know yeah, I don't just say that, um, I was just.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's a love letter to the X-Men movies. Yeah 20th Century Fox X-Men movies. Yeah, almost to all the Marvel 20th Century Fox movies. Their entire franchise, because Blade, elektra, daredevil those were all Fox movies. Yeah, fantastic Four movies, they were also all like Fox movies.
Speaker 1All under the Fox. Yes, so it was a cinematic universe.
Speaker 3It's a love letter to all the 20th Century Fox movies.
Marvel Universe Multiverse Concept Analysis
Speaker 2Yeah, even the song that was placed during the videos. And he shows you videos of the filming of the movies Just to like hey guys. This is the best time of our lives. I know Because if it wasn't, there was one guy that really brought it up. I saw it online. He said pretty much Endgame ran because all these movies walked. There's a reason why we had all these like that's true.
Speaker 1That's very true, other than spider-man x-men started it out in the original.
Speaker 2Like, those are the original movies, even daredevil, even the bad ones, I kind of pushed it there, hold up.
Speaker 3Daredevil wasn't a bad movie, you're right.
Speaker 2You're right the ones that they call you're right. I'm gonna say, like the ones they call like critically yeah, critically, I don't get it.
Speaker 1No, you're not wrong, though. Yeah, yeah, it's not a terrible movie.
Speaker 2You're not wrong, you're not wrong, but he was better.
Speaker 1Bad flick anyway um yeah, yeah he was better bad, so um, but no, yeah the studio didn't't call J-Lo after that.
Speaker 2Yo, you got to hook up my boy again.
Speaker 3bro, he's a good job, come on. Yeah, bro. No, that's interesting, and somebody brought it up on social media that the real messiah was Blade, because he's the one that started the Marvel movies. Yeah, sorry, blade was one of the first big Marvel movies, dude, and then, 20, 30 years later, blade is the one that's gonna save the Marvel Universe with this movie there's only one boy, only ever gonna be one when he showed up bro now we can talk big now we can get into it that was fucking crazy, bro.
Speaker 1Let's start with the goat.
Speaker 3Let's start with the goat let's start with the, let's start with the Wolverine variants.
Speaker 1then oh, okay, okay, Okay, okay, okay, okay Okay.
Speaker 3Okay, okay.
Speaker 1Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay Okay.
Speaker 3Okay.
Speaker 2Yeah, we can't be saying that. He said I have a whole list.
Speaker 3It was the one thing they couldn't do. On screen Feige said no cocaine.
Speaker 1On screen. Do you want to, though? Yes, please, fucking hilarious bro, and then they're fucking.
Speaker 3Tva knocks at the door, he comes outside. That was another hilarious ass scene with a lot of sexual innuendos. And I was like damn, I can't believe they got all of that past this day.
Speaker 1Oh, strippers. Pull out their fucking pose Like pegging Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa, I like the line before that, bro, whenever he was just like oh, depender, hired you, you must be strippers. Do me a favor, take off all the clothes. But they're not doing like pretty women we're.
Speaker 3That's a lot of kissing I want a lot of eye contact from this guy.
Speaker 2I can't see your eyes through the mask, but I feel it, bro, like every other word that deadpool said was a joke, bro, like he's never not dropping bombs, like that absolutely the whole one another random sexual shit that I was like damn.
Speaker 1Yeah, you may be new to me, but no, it's not new to me, but it is to Disney. That was great yeah.
Speaker 3Okay, but after that they send him to a TVA. He has to find a Wolverine.
Speaker 1Paradox breaks it down oh.
Speaker 2I think he goes hunting for Wolverines throughout the multiverse and we get one cameo, which is what I think you brought up, which is you have brought up earlier how they misuse anchors, which I didn't get at the time until now they explained it.
Speaker 2Yeah, the anchors is like they need a main character out there. That is the purpose of the universe. Yes, right, and if that person is dead, well, the universe is just like. Die out over time. Yeah, in this case it's like, well, they were assuming that Tony Stark was the anchor to 616.
Speaker 3Right, well, deadpool is not in 616.
Speaker 1No, but that's what we're talking about. We're like what if in that universe, in 616,?
Speaker 2Tony Stark was their anchor. He's the anchor.
Speaker 1Yeah, the Avengers are going to need a fine.
Speaker 3It's interesting that they introduced that concept.
Speaker 1Which I really think is cool, because now you can fix it Now you can end it.
Speaker 3Yeah, Like let 616 die.
Speaker 2Yeah you can let it die and jump to another universe.
Speaker 3I mean, 616 is so fucked now and people are like hating on it. So what's the way to fix it? To actually fix it and reset it. Like they're doing parallel universes. Yeah, no, it dies, 616 dies. And then they do this whole thing where it's like, oh well, we gotta save the world. And they transfer all these people and all these heroes that we already know to a new universe, the secret, the secret wars.
Speaker 1So you read secret wars. Yes, that's literally the exact concept. Yeah, okay, do you remember that?
Speaker 3concept like because that universe is dying and they gotta transfer everybody marvel had a universe, an ultimate universe.
Speaker 1Do you remember that? Ultimate Spider-Man, ultimate Fantastic Four, ultimate Avengers, blah, blah, blah, whatever, whatever. Basically because that franchise and series wasn't doing well comic-wise. But they had a few select that they wanted to save, like Guardians of the Galaxy, miles Morales, a version of the Fantastic Four, because they had other future plans for them, right? So a giant world-ending event happens. It's basically like Crisis on Infinite Earth, where worlds collide and shatter and they have to make a decision.
Speaker 1In the comics it's actually a really cool concept where universes are slamming into each other, they're being erased and in order to save one universe because they have their own versions of the Avengers and it's like DC Superman. Basically, they have a Wonder Woman, superman, whatever, and they have to use the Infinity Gauntlet and they snap that universe out of existence and that world and they're like this is fucked up, bro, we just snapped the universe. This isn't right. They had to erase people's minds. Some people were still down for the cause. Shit got down for the cause. Shit got crazier, but ultimately like after they fix it. But the people that end up jumping over are miles morales the guardians of the galaxy characters and select a few characters.
Speaker 1So if that's how they save the universe, that makes perfect sense and that's something like that, and I mean they've already done it because they've already saved characters at the end of uh dead, pull three remember x23 comes back.
Speaker 2X23 is one that obviously makes an appearance. Yeah, like they're gonna another caveat they going to put the entire Avengers roster, like all the new ones, like Tom Holland?
Speaker 3Paul.
Speaker 2Musca in Deadpool's apartment Watch I can see it, yeah, even the new X-Men and everything they're going to be in Deadpool's apartment.
Speaker 1I think it'd be even hilarious if it's like the world is being destroyed like the universe, and the only safe spot is deadpool's apartment. I don't know. That's right, that'd be hilarious.
Speaker 2They did it in that. That one that was like uh, when they brought that uh female captain america and yeah, and they were at this bar. Remember they all met at a bar before he took him into the universe to fight this ultimate, uh, ultron oh, what if? And what if that's true?
Wolverine Variants and Marvel Universe Discussion
Speaker 1they probably end up hanging out the contest has already been introduced in the animated series.
Speaker 2Why not put me out Marvel?
Speaker 3I want to see this guy with Deadpool bro all the digs at the multiverse that was great they gotta stop with this whole multiverse thing.
Speaker 2It's mess after, mess after mess.
Speaker 3And then this is Will Ray. He's joining the MCU. Kind of a low point.
Speaker 1That was so fucking funny, man. There were all these actual dicks at Marvel. And then Nice Bull. He's like I think it's been all uphill ever since Endgame. That was fucking hilarious.
Speaker 3But now let's go to the big caveos in the void. Oh, OK, oh we never went over the Wolverine variants. Yeah, so uh, calvary rain. Okay, calvary rain was crazy, bro. Henry Cavill as Wolverine he actually looked really good, you're good.
Speaker 1You look really good. I loved it. He's so believable. It's like if there's going to be another one, that's it.
Speaker 3I think that was a big fan cast.
Speaker 1Yeah, 100%. A lot of people were fan-casting it.
Speaker 3I can't believe he did it.
Speaker 1Well, because he doesn't have any commitments to DC anymore. Now, that's not funny.
Speaker 3They called him and was like hey, you want to be Wolverine? For like two minutes he was like we love you here.
Speaker 1Yeah, bro, We'll treat you so much better than those fucks up the street Dog. That was great. I loved it and fucking got it. That was fucking amazing, bro.
Speaker 2I didn't realize the art thing that I just said.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's so fucking cool I think he did a Mission Impossible that he was like I'm famous.
Speaker 1For no reason. Yeah, what did you do? I just did it to fucking do it bro.
Speaker 3Oh, he in the camera. He was just stretching and they caught it. And they were like I like that. Yeah, do that before you cruise right, cruise caught it. He's like, hey, I think the director oh shit, I know they were there but they were like my big crew do that shit again, bro, do that shit again.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, it was fucking gangster, but no, I mean that was great uh, john the classic, john barton and wolverine the yellow and brown yes, we get to see the hulk on screen for a second yeah, I thought it was cool because I recognized it from the animated movie yeah, well, I love that.
Speaker 1Uh depo gave that that brief loki speech. He's just like I'm a god to you. Oh, he's like I'm I'm uh, what do you say? He's like I'm, I'm marvel h christ to you.
Speaker 3Mortal slam fucks him up mj if you're nasty, mj if you're nasty, ied Jesus. That was great. And then the other one was Age of Apocalypse, age of. Apocalypse.
Speaker 1With no arm.
Speaker 3Very comic accurate.
Speaker 1Yes, that was cool as shit.
Speaker 3I'll count X-Men number 237. With him like crossed.
Speaker 2Nailed to the X, nailed to the X, not crossed the X. Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3Apparently a lot of shit going on on TikTok that Deadpool was blasphemous. Are you guys saying that?
Speaker 1I'm like oh shut up. I'm Marvel, jesus, I mean, I guess.
Speaker 2Anyway, they don't read the comic. I'm sure that he does it a lot in the comics.
Speaker 1He does all kinds of shit. I mean, yeah, deadpool doesn't give a fuck that shit.
Speaker 3so to be outraged by it now now is dumb.
Speaker 1Yeah, I am Marvel Jesus. Like, come on, dog. That's hilarious, like that's part of the bit or whatever then the comic accurate X-Man five feet tall yeah that was funny. That's how they started it. Oh my god, he matches everything. He works. What the fuck? Hey short guy, hey little guy, hey little guy are you allowed to be? You look 12. That shit was funny as fuck dog.
Speaker 3No, but that montage was hilarious. That was cue the montage.
Speaker 1It was funny I knew it when we got a chance to see alternate and patch. Patch is like an assassin version of uh wolverine, which is badass yeah really fucking cool, man, really fucking cool, yeah, um, but I like I said the the music, even just going through the whole uh montage, was still pretty fucking funny too man yeah, um, all right. So after that we jumped to the boy yeah, the avoid.
Speaker 3I think it's into the boy.
Speaker 1Well, we get the right, we get the, the defective, the worst wolverine of them all. Remember yeah, finally, and it's after he sees the suit and bam we get. And it's so nonchalant. The way he comes up with the suit just throws him on the fucking floor, remember he's all drunk and shit. He's just like he can do anything, another one needs.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1That was fucking great. He's like oh dude, that was awesome.
Speaker 3I mean finally seeing the suit also. I mean we could talk about the Wolverine suit. It was still a really cool moment. Dude, I mean you can see him in the trailers, but man I've seen it.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean, like I said, if they would have busted up with the brown and yellow one too, dog, I wouldn't have been mad at that shit either, bro, like either one of them. No, the fact that that glint we got a glimpse and that shit worked, bro, that was sick. Yes, yeah, yes, but I got again. I don't think we would have got it any other way, but I'm glad that we got it for that brief second I also.
Speaker 3I also like that there was a reasoning behind the suit. It's like why are you wearing the suit? Oh, and he keeps telling him drop it, leave the fucking suit alone.
Speaker 1Blah, blah, blah and there's. Yeah, he's just like they begged me to wear it he said Scott begged me to wear it.
Speaker 3He really liked the suit. Yeah, I was like that shit hit, bro.
Speaker 1He's just like it reminds me you know, you know because.
Speaker 3I was thinking, I didn't even think about that. I thought he was the best Cyclops.
Speaker 1I wish they didn't kill him off. I do too, man. He was a great Cyclops.
Speaker 2I thought it was the Wolverine from the cartoons this whole time.
Speaker 1They don't really say it.
Speaker 3They haven't said yeah, but if it's a live action 97, it would make sense.
Speaker 2Here's my thing with Hugh Grant Jackman. Hugh Jackman man, hugh Grant, huge jackman, bro. Um, so the thing is like bringing it back to earlier. The beginning is like that was that wolverine conformed, logan died, which is the wolverine we saw from 20th century fox right when we grew up with like yo, he died and then he's like, he's such a great actor. He's like hey, I'm wolverine, but I'm a different wolverine and he shows you in the movie, especially that scene.
Speaker 2He breaks down. That tells you this, the background number. And and he's like bro, it's just you, jackman, playing Wolverine again. No, that's a legit, high-level actor playing another character for you. That's true that you were like and he's such a good actor, but at the same time, I improved the character you always wanted. That's right, like and he dude. That's why I think like he's like legit. Legit owns the Oscar nominee, like bro, should win one eventually Because he had. He's showing you at Wolverine how good he is bro, because we forget oh, we accept Logan's dead. This is a new Wolverine, he's such a good actor that we accept it.
Speaker 1bro, that was a good sell. I didn't think about that.
Speaker 2I believe it in the campfire and I was like bro, I forgot, and that's how good, that's how good he is.
Speaker 3He's not in the storyline. That we know. So we get to see his backstory Facts, even where Cassandra Nova goes into his mind and I guess we see gravestones.
Speaker 1Of all the X-Men.
Speaker 3He's selling that. He's definitely selling that as well.
Speaker 1Man Yon broke this shit down for real. That's a really good take. Well, and then, when I think about it.
Speaker 3He's the dude playing a dude.
Speaker 1This guy's another dude and plays it very well, he does fantastically. Um, I just I was very, very impressed, but you know a part of the story that didn't make sense to me and then, in hindsight, after I thought about it, I was like how did all the fucking mutants die? You're telling me humans just went after these motherfuckers. They just got killed we're very violent, bro.
Speaker 2Humans as a species we could probably get around we are.
Speaker 1But then I also thought that charles xavier is like very uh, anti-violent so he probably would have told them to stand down, which? Means they were just slaughtered yeah, you think about that.
Speaker 3It happens in a lot of the um, worst scenarios universes. I think there's like one or two universes where, like yeah, humans end up killing. Oh dude, that's terrible. Yeah, I think in that one where he's nailed to the cross, uh, that's one of the versions, one of them.
Speaker 2Yeah, they break it down like that's one of like the capture.
Speaker 3I think on that one did that. No, there's skulls of mutants around yeah, like on that one, they somehow control wolverine, and wolverine is the one that kills all the what?
Speaker 1oh, that's interesting.
Speaker 3And then the one in the one one that we see in the movie.
Speaker 1He wasn't there, he left so they also killed the X-Men because Wolverine wasn't there because he wouldn't let that shit happen.
Speaker 2And then, when he, showed up, he killed everybody, but then I think it's interesting.
Speaker 1He's like I didn't stop at just the bad people I killed fucking everybody.
Speaker 3Anybody I got in contact with, I killed and that's what made them and then it's bad because then everybody hates the x-man and mutants because he ends up killing everybody.
Speaker 1Yeah and then it makes me, it trips me out, because I'm like, oh, that's the ultimate penance, he can't die, so he has to stay around with the fucking burdens that he's wore. Like, all right, the anger's gone now. Now you have to live with the consequences of your actions. You know like normally somebody goes out in a blaze of glory oh, that's fucked up. It's a great hurrah for this nigga, but he died in the end. But he didn't even get that.
Speaker 2Which is different. I can show you a different Wolverine. Because Logan aged His thing, his powers decayed as he aged An actual limitation. This one is going to live for a longer, longer time.
Speaker 1Yeah, this one's going to have years Until he's 90. Until he's 90. Until he's 90.
Speaker 2That was until he's 90 until he's 90 until he's 90.
Speaker 3That was a great running joke and they brought it back a couple of times until he's 90.
Speaker 1I fucking loved it. You know what? Okay, funny, a funny cameo. That was very, very much in the beginning that we I think everybody kind of still kind of forgets, but it's hilarious, it's still one of the funniest ones in there. It's Chris Evans. Chris Evans is a human torch.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, I mean, as soon as they get to the boy they start fighting. And then some random villains come up like Sabretooth and such. Chris Evans shows up and fucking Deadpool goes like catch, Catch him, Get close.
Speaker 1And he cuts him. That was so fucking funny bro.
Speaker 3He's gonna say it, he's gonna say it, he's gonna say it.
Speaker 2I thought he was going to say it too, avengers Flame on. Oh.
Speaker 1What the fuck. But I loved it because I remember he was like okay, captain, you're going to see a little grass app and some dirty talk, but this is going to be so much fun. And then he says something he's like and then it's fucking.
Speaker 3It's not even catholic america's human torch, that's what made me so much. Storm virus stops him. Yeah, like I think he like falls and he like hits himself on the balls bro, I look like your mom on a Friday night.
Speaker 1You know what I'm saying? It was wild out there.
Speaker 3He still had a pretty fucked up dad.
Speaker 2Bro, he was doing that in the movie theater, bro. Every other scene he was like your mother and someone else was like yeah, like something. He was like they were with Tripp. He's like your mother. Does that too.
Speaker 3And I was like bro, shut up up, bro, I'm trying to watch the movie.
Speaker 2Bro, let's start with the your mother jokes, bro every other second, bro, like something would happen, like Wolverine's breathing.
Speaker 1Let's see your mother breathe too god damn after the nigga got stuck I was like this is how I stick your mom whiskey, whiskey, claws.
Speaker 2And then what happens is your mom like if it wasn't for Dan Post's hilarious jokes, I would have told him to shut the fuck up, but I was into the movie bro.
Speaker 1Oh man, I don't even feel bad, fuck you.
Speaker 3But then we see the whole Ant-Man camp.
Speaker 1Yes the whole camp happened. That's right.
Speaker 2Can we just get to fucking Blade Runner? I'm just going to straight to Blade.
Speaker 3Runner, oh no.
Speaker 2Now you want to shoot your load. Now we're making way. Now we're making way, bro.
Speaker 3Let's talk about the Ant-Man cameo.
Speaker 1All right no no, no, we got to talk about Chris Evans' death real quick bro. That shit was hilarious, that shit was fucking hilarious, bro, when fucking Deadpool quotes these, the rant that he goes, he's like no, no, no, no, no. Let me finish. He said that the rant that he goes.
Speaker 3He's like no, no, no, no, no, Let me finish, Let me finish. He said that, and I quote and I quote I love that. He put it in the mid-credits scene or after credits scene and you can quote me on that. I will. I got you, motherfucker.
Speaker 1I'm getting a lot of flack for getting that Johnny guy killed. I got the tape.
Speaker 2Let's run it.
Speaker 1Then digga, digga, digga time. All right, all right, all right. So yeah, yeah. So the motherfucker's skin ripped off that shit was hilarious.
Speaker 2He got like a Mortal Kombat fatality fucking. That's a Mortal Kombat shit. Right there, bro, definitely Just fucking.
Speaker 3You got him killed, we're all gritty.
Speaker 1See now it still works bro Now it still works.
Speaker 2It works, every time it works, it works.
Speaker 3Now we can get to the big cameos.
Speaker 1So the big cameos is these motherfuckers get their ass kicked. They barely escape with the skin of their fucking chinny chin chins. That's right. They have no weight. The Honda Odyssey fucks hard, Bro. That shit right there. That happens before the big cameo. I'm sorry.
Speaker 2Oh bro, yeah, we got to talk about this.
Speaker 1We got to talk about the fights.
Speaker 3Deadpool is a hilarious movie, but sometimes I would tell these guys it has like some legit action Like badass action. Dude, because as soon as they get to the board, wolverine is mad as fuck. He's like all right, we're going to do this. Deadpool like calls it out. Oh, we got to give the people what they want.
Speaker 2Get ready, fanboys, they delivered bro, like the fight Wolverine's claws and he had Adamantium katanas.
Speaker 1So it made sense. The costume upgrade was legit as fuck the costume upgrade was really cool it was comic accurate, right it was comic accurate he's like you're a wardrobe dresser somewhere, it's the perfect.
Speaker 3He was slapping his ass. I thought it was a Deadpool thing. He was like hey, you watch a person as a fucking, as a predator. I was like what the? I was like homeboy in the TVN. I was just looking at him like uh.
Speaker 1He's just like.
Speaker 2I'm gonna blow your load over here.
Speaker 3This guy knows what I'm talking about this guy knows what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1Who are?
Speaker 3you calling your wife. Those jokes are hilarious. Is your wife working?
Speaker 1at HR. Hey man so that was just funny. Back to the fights. So the fights are great when they fucking. Let's get the people what they want.
Speaker 2Yeah, man, straight like Deadpool shooting the kidneys, are you?
Speaker 1ready to be calm now.
Speaker 3Wolverine starts dropping all the bullets yeah, that was sick. And then Wolverine starts just stabbing the fuck out of Deadpool with the claws.
Speaker 1You get some of the nuts.
Speaker 2Dude, I mean, he fucking goes off on him.
Speaker 1dog, it was great. It really fucking. Let's see if you can grow your fucking head.
Speaker 2No, I can't.
Speaker 3It just takes too long, oh man. But then I thought it was done and I thought it was like we already saw them fight.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, there's no more. No more needed. Yeah, but then in the Honda.
Speaker 3Odyssey, they did it again.
Speaker 2I'm about to hit some cell phones because I believe it now Met Mobile.
Speaker 3Met Mobile. Met Mobile.
Speaker 2After what he did at the Devil Movie. I believe it because he didn't have to do a second fight bro.
Speaker 3But you got to give the people what they want, bro.
Speaker 2And then Honda Odyssey, bro, which is crazy. No, I'm going to be honest.
Speaker 3The first fight in the minivan. Wolverine was just fucking him.
Speaker 1That's the same thing I thought.
Speaker 3I was like damn, who the heck was handling his ass in this fucking one, bro yeah he was kicking his ass. I thought it was going to be a Deadpool fight, because he's the one that got insulted.
Speaker 1But no, Wolverine was just from the get from the jump. I was like, oh, he got his ass, but I thought it was great. It plugs back to the joke in the very. He was talking about something else. The key is something.
Speaker 3He works at CarMax, yeah.
Speaker 1Why is this better than the Honda Odyssey? Because the Honda Odyssey doesn't suck balls.
Speaker 3It was fucking hilarious.
Speaker 1I take it all back. The Honda Odyssey fucks hard.
Speaker 3Hilarious. That's the quote I walked away with.
Speaker 1I don't have much anal sex. He looks at the kid. He never broke eye contact with the kid Kids. I love him. It's not that I want to have him, but I don't have much anal sex oh, he's fucked up. Or ventral sex. That was great. So yeah, that fucking fight scene was amazing. Oh the song, dude, I got you. Damn Motown, oh man. That was hilarious. Cheers Damn motes, oh man.
Speaker 3That was hilarious Grease bro, but I don't know if he cut it. Small knife, baby knife. He's hitting Deadpool's head on the radio and the first song that comes up is from the Greatest Showman.
Speaker 1No, is it really? Did you catch?
Speaker 3it no I didn't?
Speaker 1That's cool, Like oh, oh, oh, and then pop, pop I got chills.
Speaker 3That's hilarious.
Speaker 1Yeah, I didn't catch that. They have our greatest showman represent there, that's fucking cool he does that.
Speaker 2He's like he will sing you this song with no warm up With no warm up.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's right. That is very, very true.
Speaker 3I love that Because he's checking his very talented music.
Speaker 2Bro, like the jokes are hard.
Speaker 1Bro the, he said that shit. He's just like he's let himself go since the divorce, and you know and it makes sense. Too soon. I loved it because I was like, damn, is that why he kept the shirt on the whole time? The suit I was like it makes sense. Like hey, that's how you want to shame him into it. You know he just couldn't cut the roll and then, bam, the cum gutters at the end. You're like oh. Did he? We were all staring at the camera bro everybody that shit was crazy his motherfuckers.
Speaker 3Still got it.
Speaker 1Still got it bro when you say my name da na, na na na.
Speaker 2Oh bro, like you mentioned that, the crawl, like he did, the the animalistic looking crawl.
Speaker 1That was badass dude. I loved it. I thought that was amazing man.
Speaker 3Let's get to your big caveats, bro. Now we're here.
Speaker 1The shit went fucking down. We get Electra coming out the gate with her sexy ass, jennifer Garner still got it bro?
Speaker 3I don't think she's got it bro. Man, that's like fucked up man.
Speaker 1He's going through the voice right now bro, what do you mean?
Speaker 2chill, bro, j-lo, I mean.
Speaker 1I mean so.
Speaker 2Blaine so Blaine comes out bro, blaine was crazy no wait, elektra, cause if you think about it, elektra is dope bro, like that's a hidden, like what the fuck? Yeah, that was my thing.
Marvel Characters and Movie Discussion
Speaker 3It's like we know we know Electra right away, but I feel like that's a deep cut deep cut because. Daredevil movie was not the most well received movie.
Speaker 2It's a good movie, but it's not well received yeah, universally something that.
Speaker 3I completely forgot is Electra has her own movie she does have Electra, it's such a forgettable movie yeah, man, but she have her own movie.
Speaker 2Yeah, I forgot she had it.
Speaker 3I forgot that she mentioned this was back in the early aughts, so to bring electra back, that's a deep like deep cut, bro, with the whole her blades.
Speaker 2Like like all carl marvel characters, like electra is like this uh random mass katana no that's rafael's.
Speaker 1Uh, uh tools, things yes.
Speaker 2Yeah, that was no to the camera and then and then, blade bro From the eye contact bro 1998 blade bro 99 Suki 99?
Speaker 3yeah, the first one 99 blade, if I'm not mistaken you can say started it all, bro. You can say started it all yeah, no, I think the blade was one of the big, first big Marvel hits hands down bro.
Speaker 2Yes, 100% hands down.
Speaker 1I'm trying to check. I wanna take you there, I'm trying to see if Suki can fact check Suki, what's up? When did Blade come out right quick, even his fighting, because when he fought bro I was.
Speaker 2I thought like I thought Deadpool was gonna do some kind of gag where like, oh they died 98 it is 98, 98. Yeah, it's pre pre 2000 pre Y2K, pre Y2K fam, I really thought he was going to die. I thought he was going to die, elektra was going to die. I thought that he was going to kill them off as just a quick gag, like, hey, they're here, all right shot in the face.
Speaker 3Final goodbye. I thought it was going to be like X-Force.
Speaker 1I really thought it was going to be like all right, we're showing you these great characters real quick, real quick.
Speaker 3Yep, and they're all going to die storming the fortress Me too. They got a legit fight.
Speaker 1I loved it because Deadpool even paints it for you. He's just like big fucking climactic fights, slow motion, we don't know who lives, who dies. Come on high stakes, let's fucking go. That's how they hype it all up. Are you guys ready? You're all going to fucking die.
Speaker 3Read the roof Bro, that shit was hilarious. I didn't know my daddy, but I came out his dick.
Speaker 2All the cameos bro Chet and Tatum. Bro Chet and Tatum 21 Jump Street. Chet and Tatum bro.
Speaker 3Chet, 21 Jump Street with Tatum. I got to say every scene he was in, he owned it, he killed it, he killed it dog. It's one of the best parts of the movie the accent was hilarious, with the Creole accent, you know. Who's your dialect coach?
Speaker 1I feel like we're missing vital explanation right now, bro, and he was comic accurate Comic, accurate Comic accurate too.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, the suit was comic accurate.
Speaker 1The hair peak, the powers fucking dark, everything. We got the best version of a Gambit movie that we're ever going to get, that we're ever going to get, 're ever gonna get. The coat, bro, the coat, the coat, the trench coat, I mean it all worked, everything in the fight but it had like overhead shot scenes.
Speaker 1You can see the glowing stick of gambit I thought that was yeah, you earned the motherfucking sword, you know yeah, you know, something I didn't know is like chen and tatum was meant to play uh gambit in uh wolverine origins oh yeah, yeah, he was gonna be the original guy.
Speaker 3I didn't know there was a conflict, because he had. He was in gi joe, yeah, that's right.
Speaker 1Yeah, step up, but he was the first choice he was gonna get the movie. He was gonna get his own movie. Yeah, which?
Speaker 3is funny because ryan reynolds ended up being deadpool in you know that was his first experience yeah, he was perfect.
Speaker 2Deadpool was perfect, deadpool, right there.
Speaker 1But you know they strong-guarded him to that Wolverine origins.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, because he's like, if you're not going to play, somebody else is going to play.
Speaker 1And you'll never get a chance to play it.
Speaker 3Yeah, that was it, and he was like well, this is not Deadpool.
Speaker 1It's like well, I mean, if you're not a player someone else is so it was good.
Speaker 3It was good that they kept it. It was good Because I mean what happened to Shannon, you know.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3He didn't play it and then you know he never got a chance to play Gambit until now, but we only got it because somebody leaked the fucking footage.
Speaker 1We never would've got the Deadpool movie because Wolverine did so bad.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1They killed all the origins. One obviously yeah, he was and uh, and he still got a trilogy yeah, he still got the wolverine, the wolverine and then a really good movie fantastic, yeah, and then
Speaker 1logan japan yeah, that was one. That was a good one. Yeah, that was the second one, he fought like a samurai version of the silver, silver samurai, which is badass, uh, but then and then, logan, he still got a trilogy, even with a bad first one, bro well, yeah, he's making a decent future. Past and the other one yeah, because heized the whole franchise which is still crazy on a bad movie. Normally, most superheroes are fucking out after that.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1Spider-Man 2,. Andrew Garfield didn't get a third one, bro, he was out after that second one.
Speaker 2Yeah, he won a third one. He won a third one. No, he won a third one. He did win a third one. He won a third one.
Speaker 3But remember, obviously he shitted on them one. That's what got him fired. I think he only got wolverine because of days of future past and they only brought him in days of future past because you needed that character.
Speaker 1That to connect them. Yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 3I mean you think wolverine in every x-men story, because he's vital to the story, he is because such like he's one of their big three.
Speaker 1I don't even know who they're. It's like Jean Grey, him and, I guess, fucking Professor.
Speaker 3Xavier.
Speaker 1Or yeah.
Speaker 2Yeah.
Speaker 1I don't know, big booty hoes.
Speaker 2That's really what it is.
Speaker 1Yeah, man, but no, I loved it. That was a great fucking movie.
Speaker 2And Gambit and Chantin owned it, bro, because he even said to himself in the movie my moment, I'm going to make a name right here, Are you?
Speaker 1trying to. I'm doing all kinds of stuff right now. Buddy, I was in it. I'm like, oh man, it was great. It was fucking great Half of the lines in that little hideout.
Speaker 3I didn't get what the fuck he was saying. Oh, none of it. It wasn't until that line when he said he came out his daddy's dick ready. That was the only line that I was like, oh shit, that's my fault.
Speaker 2Is Gambit like that, or is it just?
Speaker 1like no, no, no, I think he totally freestyled. I love that entire thing. That's a piece of 21st Street shit right there, yeah, just being silly my name is Joe, my name is. Jim.
Speaker 2I was like bro does Gambit talk like that, like bro, if they?
Speaker 1did, though that'd be hilarious. That would Wesley Snipes, the motherfucker coming up, the motherfucker himself. Yeah, blade, blade. Yeah, blade showed up. Dog, that was crazy. Like I said, I don't know who I want. I thought you retired. Retarded I said retired. I'm not trying to get canceled here.
Speaker 3I thought that joke was so stupid. What is this?
Speaker 2I delivered it with such seriousness.
Speaker 3I feel like.
Speaker 2Ryan Reynolds circumvented, like I wouldn't need to write a retarded joke here, but how, like, how do I circumvent it?
Speaker 1I mean, he doesn't want to be here anyway. Right, come on, bro, let's give him a quick line.
Speaker 3I mean, I think I had a lot of fun playing that blade. You know what he?
Speaker 1actually did. He was excited he was like explaining what's the plan. He's like yeah, yeah, whatever, just pan up to blade, bro. Give me the rocket launcher. That was fucking dope. Where'd you get this from punisher? Damn man. There's been like five different punishers and there's only one fucking blade baby. That's right, that's true oh man, that was great, man, oh man you know.
Marvel Universe Future and Movie Review
Speaker 3I mean there's this excitement for the next Blade movie, but also it's also been encouraged by like creative choices and director changes and pushbacks, who knows? If it's ever gonna come out. Now, after seeing this, it's like nah, put that shit back yeah bro, I'm not even tripping.
Speaker 1Wes the Snipes is the only Blade man, fuck, he did good.
Speaker 3back with the sniper, you can still pull it off, bro, you can still pull it off with the little uh the soul patch.
Speaker 1It's great because he's old now, but you still had it. Give me part four.
Speaker 2Bro, look if Hugh Jackman is out there, bro If it was the Blade, but he was in exile comes back to his time and tries to fix shit.
Speaker 3Yeah, like Old man Blade or something to that club.
Speaker 1Look, just give him some stem cells. Give him whatever the fuck you're feeding Hugh Jackman, bro. He'll be back at it in six months. You know what I'm saying. Pay for that training. Just do it bro, Look, if LeBron James has spent a million, let's play money for Disney dog.
Speaker 2Get him back in the role. Come on, there was this one lady, I think she broke it down. I really bring this point up as we slowly transition to uh I love this.
Speaker 2Take listen to this and it was like, um, uh, she was like just be careful because, like, the market has spoken, that we are moving to the marvel, transitioning of cameos and like, so we need to be careful because it's great, because there's a story behind it, like like no way home, uh, deadpool, and like it makes sense, like it's making sense, it's like, but let's not, we might fall into that part where like hey, we're just going to show you cameos, but there's no plot. There's no plot to this, you know, yeah, and there was one where she was like, because it made sense, like the seasoning was too expensive, because it doesn't pay. It doesn't pay up, you know having diversity, bringing it back to the people that do pay, which is Salt and Pepper, but it's like, hey, man, they're probably right.
Speaker 3I kind of worked through that take with that. You got to be a little careful with it, because it works on Deadpool, because he's Deadpool, he does it in the comics, so it works for Deadpool, but it's just not going to work for other movies.
Speaker 1It works for Spider-Man because we know that there are a bunch of different variants of Spider-Man.
Speaker 3Spider-Man cashed in on like.
Speaker 2When you be careful. There's nothing wrong with cameos. Bring them on.
Speaker 1They did great, but you can take away from the story because you're like, oh, this character's here.
Speaker 3Remember that you wanted to see this character. You still made a good storyline.
Speaker 1For example, if they gave you Wolverine but there's no real reason for them to fight, you're like, oh, these two characters just sorry.
Speaker 3Yeah, we haven't seen more of that fight. Yeah, like why? Why Exactly? It's just that Chris Chigley's cat man.
Speaker 2It was you know what I'm saying. It could happen because I heard they might bring some World War Hulk stuff, so like they're not done with.
Speaker 1Mark R as far as like who they were gonna have, remember, like who we started out with originally and who the who's gonna come up next, the squad, or whatever. Oh yeah, that's what you were gonna talk about.
Speaker 2Oh, that too, yes yeah, yeah, my bad, yeah. So that one because it's like what I'm thinking more was like we know, the original end game theory had, like your four, like high level actors, not like rDJ. Chris Evans right, thor is there, but charisma right, but I feel like the next level it was Benedict Cumberbatch right, it was like the four high-level actors for Marvel. I'm guessing that this new long-term scope is going to be Tom Holland, for sure, because we love Tom Holland. He's charismatic Deadpool for sure. Hugh is Jackman. And who was the first one they said, oh, pedro Pascal.
Speaker 1Pedro.
Speaker 2Pascal or Mr Fantastic. So these are like the four, high level, like hey, we're going to like you. Four are going to carry the Marvel version for the next 10 years. But even then I'm like that's not a bad lineup If that's the new Avengers if it's Deadpool, wolverine, spider-man, mr fantastic wolverine, uh, spider-man, and fuck it, don't, don't cumberbatch back in that bitch, bro.
Speaker 1Well, I'm sure thor and cumberbatch are gonna come.
Speaker 2I'm saying so like, but that's the stack squad though, bro, like I guess. I guess dr van doom, that makes sense okay uh well hang on.
Speaker 1Let's finish with the movie.
Speaker 3First let's yeah, okay, we can finish with the movie. All. Yeah, okay, we can finish with the movie. Alright, real quick.
Speaker 1I mean we're almost done.
Speaker 3Yeah. Yeah yeah, I mean, I think that's it.
Speaker 2I mean the only other thing, oh, the Varian fight.
Speaker 3The only other thing.
Speaker 1The Varian fight, yeah, cause the Varian fight.
Speaker 3I mean also, the main villain in the movie Was Cassandra Nova, which is Xavier's Professor Xavier's evil twin sister.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's the real thing.
Speaker 3And she's also an Omega-level mutant.
Speaker 1She's like a big threat. Yeah, she's like next-level shit.
Speaker 3She was skull-fucking everybody Damn. Welcome to the skull-fuck club buddy, she doesn't wash that hand.
Speaker 1Oh, you got your fingers in me, and not in a good way, damn.
Speaker 2That was hilarious, man.
Speaker 3I thought she did good. So many finger jokes. But then you got the big fight against the Deadpool core, the.
Speaker 1Deadpool core finally coming out was awesome, blake.
Speaker 3Lively was leading Deadpool.
Speaker 2You caught the name of the cowboy.
Speaker 3Matthew McConaughey boys skyboat pool.
Speaker 1That was crazy as fuck. To me that was a cool pool.
Speaker 3Nathan Fillion is the zombie pool, the head pool, oh head pool.
Speaker 2Okay.
Speaker 3Of course Ryan Reynolds' kids play Kid. Pool and Baby Pool, which is hilarious, and I don't know if this is true, but I read somewhere that Nice Pool is actually his twin brother. That would be funny, ryan Reynolds' twin brother, which I forgot.
Speaker 1Ryan Reynolds has a twin brother, does he really?
Speaker 3Yeah, gordon Reynolds, I think.
Speaker 1I'll check this out. Jump in the comments. Are you?
Speaker 2legit. He has a twin brother, identical twin brother.
Speaker 1Yeah, identical. I did not know that what. There's two Ryan Reynolds out there, yeah there is With the same level of sarcasm. But I loved it though, because he's like sorry, sorry, guilty, as trot.
Speaker 3Well, I think his twin brother is not as sarcastic.
Speaker 1It's either way, it's hilarious.
Speaker 3The twin brother is not an actor, but he does have an identical twin brother. Know he the other twin?
Deadpool and Wolverine Movie Discussion
Speaker 1the twin brother is not an actor, but he does have an identical twin brother. But the fight was epic. Uh, the, the, because they were already hinted at. Oh, there's a bunch of us around here, the fucking deadpool core. Yeah, we ran rampant around the fucking voice and they just dropped them there. But of course, when we finally got a chance to see them, uh, that was badass. But of course, nice pool getting fucking blown up was hilarious brother.
Speaker 2Bro, that's not your brother, that's him.
Speaker 1That's still him, that's him don't believe social media, bro, no, he has two, two. He has three older brother he doesn't have a twin brother oh no, it's him look that's how good the level of acting is, bro he got his ass, bro.
Speaker 2I got you, bro. No, that's the thing it's like. There's like a contract where someone like his agents were like they have to show a face of an actor Not exactly Ryan Reynolds, I'm sure he would have put the mask on for the entire movie, but for the sake of his agency the agency they have to show. Like, hey, my actress has to show his face, so he had to circumvent that shit. He's like look, here's Nicepool, here's me, maskless mask on.
Speaker 1You know what I love? I think he's actually honest. I thought he was full of shit originally when he said this concept. But then the first deadpool movie, he's ryan reynolds for the first half, deadpool for the second half and the second one he's deadpool. And then there's that moments where he jumps to the, the afterlife, and he's ryan reynolds again.
Speaker 3He's not deadpool during those moments oh, that's right, that's right I think so yeah remember he has like there's that part I know I know.
Speaker 1I don't know if he was real.
Speaker 3I don't know if it's gonna matter that much to ryan reynolds it's the agency. It's the agency like these I brought, for example for chris evans like, I think, his contract, like did not wear the helmet as much. That's why in the movies chris evans doesn't really wear that helmet yeah, and that's what I was saying in the early odds, like he wears it in a couple of action pieces right because it's open mcguire spider-man.
Speaker 1Captain america is Tobey Maguire Spider-Man, I mean.
Speaker 3Captain America is supposed to wear the helmet the whole time.
Speaker 1Yes, and that's what I was thinking. I think the agents got behind them because Tobey Maguire suffered tremendously. Again, he wears the mask. 90% of the Spider-Man movies.
Speaker 3No, but I mean, he was still famous for it.
Speaker 1Oh yeah, yeah. But I think, like Tom Holland his Spider-Man movie, he takes it off a lot.
Speaker 2He takes the mask on the entire time, but the agency and it makes sense.
Speaker 3The whole bit about Nice Pool was hilarious. How long does it take you to regenerate, regenerate?
Speaker 1How the fuck am I supposed to know he wasn't going to regenerate? That was so funny. I stay in the back because I have very low bow density and I have to protect my face. Why don't you wear a mask?
Speaker 3come on, guys what does he say? Who are you going to pick me, or Ben Milder? Yeah?
Speaker 1Ben Milder.
Speaker 3I could do a four wall rake too.
Speaker 1I could gently poke the fourth wall too. That was hilarious. After he gets shot in the beginning, remember, and he's like there's a donut cart there, they're practically hospitals.
Speaker 3Someone pointed out that they walked past the pharmacy to get to his donut cart. They did.
Speaker 1Oh, did you guys know the shoe store that they showed up in? Oh, it's Lightfield.
Speaker 3It's Lightfield.
Speaker 1The Deadpool creator. Oh, it was a joke for him. Yeah, ah, yeah, it's just feet, or something like that is what it says.
Speaker 3But I mean, I guess that's most of it.
Speaker 2He's like wait, let the what do you call it? The background actors do their run.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, Let the extras get away. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Go, go.
Speaker 3That was hilarious, and then the climax with the Madonna song.
Speaker 2Is that Madonna? Yeah, it is Madonna, I can take you. I never knew that till right now.
Speaker 1It's a big Madonna song. Yeah, bro. Like I said, when his shirt fucking explodes? First off, when he pulls up the cow.
Speaker 3When he pulls up the cow, we finally get him with the mask and he looks badass.
Speaker 1Do you only save it for special occasions? Kill it.
Speaker 3He makes a joke about he's being like blowjob handles. Oh yeah. What's the speed rate?
Speaker 1what is the speed rate you get in the book. Sorry, I, I, when you say I lash out, when I get into, when I'm jealous. Yeah, oh, that was fucking hilarious. But uh, even when he fucks up they, they fuck him up and uh, he makes that joke. He's like the cow's, really intimidating. Huh, it's like Batman, but he can turn his neck.
Speaker 2I loved it, man. I loved it the whole way through.
Speaker 1It was fucking great. Cassandra Nova blowing up at the end was a fucking wild plot twist.
Speaker 2Yeah, it was like the whole sacrifice the Deadpool and Wolverine did. That shit was hilarious as fuck.
Speaker 1That was great.
Speaker 2I really thought that Wolverine was going to die or something I thought he was going to die.
Speaker 3I really like the whole thing. It's like, yeah, if only one of them did it, then he would have died, but since there was two of them, they survived.
Speaker 1No, you give a Wolverine to Deadpool. Jacked up listening to Madonna. We're invincible. That was fucking awesome. He worked out. He saved his universe Real quick when he closed the door on him remember.
Speaker 2He was just sorry. I guess I'm nervous about dying.
Speaker 3That's fucking hilarious man that's unnecessary but just dumb, fucking, stupid humor. But that's all deadpool like 100, 100, so that was great.
Speaker 1They were a great movie. Uh, after all, the, uh, the sony people die. Uh, deadpool makes that. That plea out with the tva to be like yo, can you bring some people back? We see x23 at end. Obviously, that's a really cool symbolizing, like maybe other people came back.
Speaker 3we didn't even talk about X 23, but it was good that they brought her back. It was really really cool.
Speaker 1It was good An emotional storyline. For a little bit I was a little creeped out, but I'm not gonna lie when we I was like brother.
Speaker 3I was like the fucking internet is undefeated, man, because she's at the premiere. And well, she's like 23 now.
Speaker 1Yeah, she's grown now, right? Yeah, and she's got that yacht.
Speaker 3Oh, I didn't know that. Sorry, that's what the internet says. You can see it in the comments.
Speaker 1Don't at me, don't at me, don't at me, don't at me.
Speaker 3But uh, I'm TMZ bro everybody in the comments were like oh, x-23, got that yeah oh man, that was part of the Project X, anyway, I'll stop.
Speaker 1So, uh, project Leotix yeah, got her. I need Jesus, I'm gonna pray for y'all.
Speaker 3You need Marvel. Age Jesus in your life. Tell them Marvel.
Speaker 1Age.
Speaker 3Christ ain't playing, we're gonna we going to cut all this out with Madonna.
Future of Deadpool and Marvel Universe
Speaker 1I can take you there, but that was great. Her appearance in it was really, really awesome. I love that speech that she has of whatever. She's just like we need you. He's just like I'm not the guy you're looking for. She's like you never were. Oh, I like that he's like you're never the guy Until you were, until you finally were and I was like, oh, man, I guess we'll.
Speaker 3he's a hero, but he's always a reluctant hero.
Speaker 1He is. He's the one that doesn't want to join the group.
Speaker 3He says it. He's like you only showed up when we needed you.
Speaker 1Yeah, you've always showed up whenever we needed you.
Speaker 2And bam, he pops out the trunk and he fucking comes out, fucking shit up, dude that was awesome.
Speaker 1And then Deadpool falls Fuck, I didn't land the dismount. Out of all that, this is the only thing they're going to remember. It was great, I loved it.
Speaker 3We called out a lot of the jokes here, but hopefully you laughed with us.
Speaker 1It was great. If you haven't gone, go watch it again.
Speaker 2Go support this fucking film we're going to go back. There were so many jokes.
Speaker 1Obviously, I stole some of the fun for this guy. So we're going to go back and we'll shut the fuck up. We're going to watch all the jokes. This time it's going to be.
Speaker 3Speaking of the future of Deadpool my take on the future of Deadpool is that as much as you say that this is Deadpool's first Marvel movie, it wasn't. He wasn't in the Sacred Thailand, he wasn't in the 616 universe, so this was still very much an X-Men universe movie. So that that would be my take on it. It really wasn't a marvel movie and nothing he did had an effect on the main marvel universe well, he did close the the old universe, you're right, yeah well, I mean his x-men universe actually continues like he goes back to his own universe, you know whatever we're still living right did
Speaker 1you guys did you guys catch remember whenever they actually showing the the sacred timeline for him, right, his, his timeline remember? And they have, like the, the red ones around it yeah okay, if you notice, only his white one continued, but all the red ones didn't yeah, did you guys notice that?
Speaker 2yeah?
Speaker 1so I think that's all the other universes in my mind. That's what I'm thinking of. It is, it's all. The other variant versions are like the. The electra is the, all those, whatever whatever all those universes out, but the main one that survived is deadpool's universe which is that's what we're talking about, like that's.
Speaker 3That's the x-men universe from centennial century fox like it survived like yes, just that thing is alive, things we survives uh, I mean wolverine is in it goes to deadpool's universe, which is what earth 105, 1003, I saw something like that. Yeah, yeah, 10015. Uh, we don't know if Wolverine is going to stay in that universe or whatever, but that universe is still very much separate from the Marvel universe.
Speaker 1Yeah, you're right, it's not 616.
Speaker 3Well, first of all, I don't think Hugh Jackman would come back for another movie. You don't think so. No, I don't think so. I think this was it honestly. I think they asked him in the press, but I mean, he always gives the same answer. Who lives the stories, right? Yeah, yeah, but I don't think so, man.
Speaker 2If I go broke, you know.
Speaker 3I think Logan was a very good ending, but Logan was a very depressing movie. And he came back from this because Ryan Reynolds is his best friend and he's a really good storyline it is, and he finally gave the people what they wanted. You know, comic accurate suit. But I think Hugh Jack Jackman is very much done with the role and I don't think Deadpool is going to be a main part of the Marvel.
Speaker 2Universe.
Speaker 3I think if anything they're going to bring him for cameos, He'll be the fun cameo in every movie.
Speaker 1I think that's it.
Speaker 3He'll be the Stanley cameo in every movie, but he's not going to be a big part of a team.
Speaker 1You don't think so. I don't think so I think he'll be cameos.
Speaker 1He'll be like a 10 minute tom holland, though, like tom holland was a fuck ton of cameos before he got another spider-man movie. Or like even chris evans, remember, he hopped in like thor and some other shit, like that's true. He bounced back and forth like so I can see that just writing them on for a bunch of things, and they'll write a script that's good enough from secret wars and he'll come back for secret wars, of course he'll still, he'll be active in that sense, Maybe.
Speaker 3again, I still think he's not part of the main universe.
Speaker 1I think I think Disney stole him stupid money at him. The versus Fox.
Speaker 2Generally, generally, you see them all where they said like hey, so-and-so will return, so-and-so will return, right.
Speaker 3We didn't really see that. Oh, he said, hey, we're going to bring Cable back.
Speaker 1Well, I think that the franchise, the trilogy, is done. Ryan Reynolds isn't going to be doing Deadpool films for a while. I think he's going to be doing a bunch of cameos also. I think that's part of it too.
Speaker 3It's like, hey, I don't think I'm going to keep doing Deadpool with this name, because it doesn't really work Really. Where's he going to go?
Speaker 2then. Well, I think, like he's done With Deadpool for a long time, or he's just done, I'm guessing he's open To cameos, but I don't think he's gonna have a next movie. I got five years yeah.
Speaker 1That's what I'm saying For like the next five years and whatever movies that are gonna come out. Him and Logan May make cameos throughout, but that's about as much.
Speaker 2As we're gonna get for them.
Speaker 3I don't think he's going to make another Wilburian appearance. What? Do you think you dirty little skank.
Speaker 2Man, I don't know, Like you're just using that convincing argument, it makes sense like why they wouldn't return. The only thing is just this hope I got is I hope they're like hey, it was good, we'll come back in three years, you know. But in all reality it makes sense what you said and if they do, fair enough enough, you know, thank you. Thank you, ray. Ryan reynolds, thank you for shutting it down with 21st century fog. Thank you for bringing it all back, you know thank you for so many years of playing wolverine.
Speaker 2You know, you know you're up there with like batman, uh, like, no, not even a batman actor can say I'm batman, yeah yeah bro like you are unique in your own. You're a fantastic actor. I hope you win, like all the oscars bro, here's the goat and yeah, man.
Speaker 2So I would say like, at the end of the day, bro, what do I give this movie? I put this. Ah, man, the thing is I want to put this movie into the marvel movies number three because I really want to paint this one in top five marvel movies of all time that's not an outrageous statement.
Speaker 1I put iron man one, uh for sure.
Speaker 2End game um deadpool 3, the guardians one and um no way home. Those are my top five. More I don't know no specific order, but like those are the top five, like I'm like I'd swap out endgame for infinity war but yes, infinity war. What's the last one?
Speaker 1that's in game. You're right. Infinity war is the one where all the action took place. Infinity, yeah. So I thought the same thing where they fight.
Speaker 3We're like that's in game. I mean, I keep hanging top, yeah yeah, no, I mean it was a great movie. I mean I love deadpool, so I'm biased. I'll give it a 9.9 out of 10 yeah, I'm 9.8.
Speaker 1Yeah, like I'm putting it up there.
Speaker 3Yeah the only reason that we don't give that 0.1 is because there was one missed opportunity.
Speaker 1They should have brought back Benny.
Speaker 3Jones and Juggernaut. Absolutely, they should have brought him back.
Speaker 1I saw his tweet, bro. He was like they didn't come at me, they didn't ask me, and I was like damn, he still could have pulled that shit off, the original one, yeah.
Speaker 3From X3. Yeah, X.
Speaker 1United. No, it wasn't him. They even said he's. I guess you're this version of the juggernaut or whatever. Yeah.
Speaker 3And that's why I shave a point one off.
Speaker 1I'll give him that. I'll shave point two for that I fucking love Deadpool.
Speaker 3That was I mean, it was yeah.
Speaker 1I would've just loved to. It's the juggernaut bitch Certified fresh.
Speaker 2Yeah, certified fresh, absolutely.
Speaker 1Yeah, fuck, check it out.
Speaker 2Yeah, man, I guess we focused more on that for this episode. Yeah, we're at an hour the studio's closing down, so yeah.
Speaker 3They're going to turn the lights off on us here in a minute.
