Reviving the Art of Renaissance with Kiki Klimt
Join Mona, the host of Women United ART PODCAST, as she interviews Kiki Klimt, a researcher of life, professional artist, and pro-dean at Arthouse College for Drawing and Painting in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
In this episode, Kiki takes us through her artistic journey from her early days as an art student to rediscovering the tradition of old masters and searching for answers in mythology, ancient spiritual writings, modern physics, chemistry, cosmology, mathematics, history and philosophy. She describes her unique way of painting based on ancient knowledge, contemporary science and her own study and experience, which she calls "painting with light". In her work, she combines the physical, emotional and rational aspects of painting.
