God wants to free us from the trap of trying to work at being "good enough" to meet His standards for relationship with Him. The truth is, we can never be good enough on our own... no matter how much we try. Fortunately God has made it not only possible it is His promise and His desire. We are loved by God and through Jesus Christ we "get to" enjoy relationship with Him.
