Filled With God... Identity And Purpose (Part 8).

Letting go of things we have control over makes some people very uncomfortable.
Fortunately God cares more about developing our character than He does in appeasing our comforts.
It's been said there are even times in which, "God will afflict the comfortable while He comforts the afflicted."
Being filled with God involves letting go of us controlling every aspect of our lives and the lives of those around us.
God wants us to have Spirit-empowered self-control.
Being drunk or high is a cheap substitute for being filled with God.
Getting drunk or high is from the outside in.
God fills us from the inside out!
God doesn't settle for second best and He doesn't want us to either.
My goal is to be continuallycontrolled by and filled with Holy Spirit.
