Speaker 1:

Howdy folks, I want to thank you for tuning into our podcast. We here at Life Around the Fire have been experiencing some pretty unique things over the course of the past few months, and some of those unique things have all of us experiencing some new stuff. We've never been down this road before. God is doing something across the nations that has never been done before, and it's because he's setting the record straight. God is God and people are people. We did not create God. It's quite the other way around and we did not create an image and make it God, even though we have done that and called it God or just made images and worshiped them, given our devotion to them. But God alone is God, god Most High, and His ways are. They're not our ways, and he's setting the record straight in revealing who he is, not just what's been said about him, because a lot's been said about him and some of it has been accurate. Some of it has been kind of just a mixture of things and some of it has been nefarious. It's been either just wrong or blatantly evil, twisted. God is setting the record straight across the nations. He's revealing himself and in so doing, he's also teaching us who are his followers, his people, his citizens, his children, those of us who are born again of his spirit. He's showing us some new things, teaching us new ways, and when those new ways are being talked about, they sound exciting and they are. But also, it's really not necessarily the most dignified thing for an adult to stand up on roller skates for the first time and look, like I said, dignified. You look rather new and you make kind of. It's obvious that you're not good at roller skating. Until you get some practice, you get doing it more right. Well, we're experiencing that here on this particular podcast.

Speaker 1:

Man and I'm venturing into areas that I've not gone into before, but I'm venturing into them because I, more than anything, my heart is to obey God. I love him, he has pursued me and he has revealed his love to me, his love for me, and he has won my heart over. He's captivated my heart. I'm his, I am my beloved's and he is mine, and his banner over me is love. His banner over me is try harder, do more, get better at it. His banner over me is love, get better at it. His banner over me is love and in his love, he's showing me new things and he actually finds joy in seeing me be somewhat childlike, adventuresome, willing to learn new things, and not necessarily look dignified. Kids don't look dignified when they are exploring stuff. They'll get messy, their clothes will get messed up. They don't care if they don't look exactly, you know, put together, because they're childlike. They're learning.

Speaker 1:

Well, god wants us to be like that concerning things of his kingdom. And if we just do what we're always accustomed to doing, or what's always been done, after a while it becomes rather canned and it comes across canned. And I've noticed that even in this podcast, even in the introduction to this podcast, that it started to sound kind of canned, like it was a, you know, just a little introduction, right, that's not what this podcast is about. Man, that's not what we're about. We are about the kingdom of God being demonstrated to us and through us, the love of God being demonstrated to us and through us, relationship with God and with each other and in that relationship, doing the stuff, man Living out with passion, kingdom, lifestyle, and having passion for God, that's pure, and love for each other, that's pure. That's on fire where I can actually look at you and say, man, I look forward to seeing you instead of dreading the duty of doing church again.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, fortunately, that is being re how do I put it? Reformed. There's a reformation going on, a major reformation going on across the nations. More than a reviving as a reforming, things are being done in a new way. Some of it is an old way being made new, but it's a new way. That is ancient, eternal, but yet it has that. That is ancient, eternal, but yet it has that fresh vibrancy of new life. Praise God. Only God can do that.

Speaker 1:

And so one of the things that we've been told is that there are some additions that are coming into this particular podcast, and one of the additions is not just talking about kingdom stuff but actually demonstrating what the already and the not yet is all about, and what I mean by that is this the already is that the kingdom of God is at hand. It's here. We don't have to wait until we die before we become citizens of the kingdom. Go to heaven. We become citizens of the wait until we die before we become citizens of the kingdom. Go to heaven. We become citizens of the kingdom when we're born again, the moment we are born again, the moment we place faith in Jesus Christ and acknowledge that he's the one who pursued us. He's the one who accomplished what we couldn't. He did it. It's paid for, it's done. We can't do it, he did it. And when we say amen, he says you're mine, I bought you. You're mine, all of you, every part of you, every part of you. I'm your king, come into my kingdom. Here is the down payment. There's more to come. That's the not yet Okay.

Speaker 1:

But what's in the already, man? What's in the already is so much more than what we have been living out. And praise God. He's showing us what is in the already that we haven't tapped into yet, some that we have, but a lot of it we haven't. And that's because his plan is unfolding. It's unfolding, it's not just the same old, same old. It's unfolding and, yes, it's building upon those things that are foundational, of course, man, I love those foundational aspects of his word, of his ways. Foundational man, his kingdom, of his culture, foundational of the church, things that are important, that are part of who we are. But it's not yet been all done. We have more to experience. There's more.

Speaker 1:

Anyone who says that it all did what it was supposed to do in the first century and now we're just kind of marking time is wrong. You've been taught there's a dispensation where things died when the last apostle died, or a hundred years went and things died. That's a theory meant to be taught as fact, because it controls people. Quite frankly, we are experiencing the unfolding of God's plan and purpose. He has a plan, he has a purpose, and they're unfolding. It's unfolding and we are in part of the unfolding dynamic of it right now.

Speaker 1:

And so the inclusion that he wanted to bring about in this particular podcast is a demonstration of the already of his kingdom, and that involves gifts of his spirit, words of knowledge, words of wisdom, prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues, healings, miracles, discerning of spirits, things that are a demonstration of the supernatural dynamic of his kingdom, of his life, of his love, for the purpose of, yes, showing us who he is, but also of letting us experience the benefit of his life being offered to us, and sometimes we need things done in a way that are outside of the norm, because it wakes us up, it's a sign, it's a wonder, and then our attention is drawn to him. That's the objective, that our attention is drawn to Jesus. And so, without any further ado, there is a word that I'm going to share right now concerning a person. It happens to be a man and you're in your 30s and you live in northern Minnesota. In fact, you're sitting right now in a pickup truck, a brown Ford pickup truck, and the only good thing about the pickup truck is you have a decent sound system in it and you have listened to this particular podcast a couple times on Spotify. You found us on Spotify and you thought it was pretty interesting.

Speaker 1:

But you're drunk right now and you're listening to this and you are contemplating suicide. I'm here right now to say don't do it. God loves you and he is going to set you free from the bondage of that terrible, terrible scourge. The alcoholism aspect of life is a reality and the only the alcoholism aspect of life is a reality and the only, only only help can come as a result of God intervening and breaking that thing. You've tried so many times. That's why you're looking to kill yourself, but that's not the answer.

Speaker 1:

The answer is found in your relationship with Jesus and he's extending that relationship to you by pointing it out right now, where you're sitting in that pickup truck, listening to this voice telling you what's going on and saying to you ask him to help you. And really in your heart, sincerely mean it, and he is going to begin the process of relieving you from that bondage. You're going to find other individuals coming into your life offering to be with you through the process of gaining strength again in a non-drinking way of life. Take them up on that offer. The bondage will be broken dynamically, but walking through the process of learning a new way of life is just that a process.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to pray right now, father, I thank you for reaching out to this man right now, holy Spirit, I ask that you would break the power and the bondage of alcoholism, lord Jesus, that you would deliver him from evil, that the men and women that will help him will be guided to him, and that there will be divine appointments in the next few hours to make the connections for him to walk through the valley of the shadow of death and ultimately, fear no evil, for Lord, yours is the kingdom, the power and the shadow of death and ultimately, fear no evil For Lord, yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, and we honor you and we say that it is so. In the name of Jesus, we declare it to be true. Amen. So be it. Amen, amen, my brother.

Speaker 1:

I look forward. Drop us a line, just sometimes on the road, just type in lifearoundthefire at gmailcom, all lowercase lifearoundthefire, all one word lifearoundthefire at gmailcom and give us an update. We would love to hear from you Do anything we can to help out in the process and give us an update. We would love to hear from you Help out, do anything we can to help out in the process. We've helped out lots of folks, man, and we would love to be part of that in your life.

Speaker 1:

All right, there's another situation that I want to point out. There's a young man Actually, you're 10 years old and you live in Kenya and you're listening, and you've been listening to this podcast with a group of other people. You're 10 years old and you have club feet and you've club feet and you've been suffering with club feet since you've been born and you have infections as a result of getting abrasions on your feet and the difficulty in wearing shoes that feel good, and God is going to heal you miraculously and give you new feet Now. There are people around you right now and you're listening to this. I want you to lay your hands on him right now. Just gently lay your hands on him and just release to him that healing flow that's coming to you right now, you'll feel that warmth. That warmth that's coming, that's the gift of healing, or healings, and there is a power for miracles to take place right now as well. Different expression and a miracle will take place in your feet right now, and I say to your feet be made whole.

Speaker 1:

Father, I want to thank you, I want to thank you for what you're doing right now. I honor you, holy Spirit. We acknowledge that it's you bringing glory to the Lord Jesus. Lord, we exalt your name and we look to you and we say thank you, god, for being so good to us and this young man as you would cause him to be a true disciple of yours at a young age and he would lead many people to you, that his story would go across the nation and that it would be a testimony to your goodness, your great love, lord. I thank you Again. Folks, drop us a line at lifearoundthefire at gmailcom and let us know how things are going, and we'd really love to hear from you.

Speaker 1:

There's a great thing that we've got going on in that particular nation. There's a group of people that are part of a fellowship known as Rock of Hope and you listen all the time, man. We love you guys, and I'm so glad that your water catchment system is going along just fine right now. And let it rain, baby. Let it rain R-A-I-N and R-E-I-G-N. Let it rain, the rain of God, hallelujah, hallelujah. And yeah, one last thing, and yeah, one last thing.

Speaker 1:

There's a woman and you're listening to us from Thailand and you're in a relationship with another woman and you don't want to be in that relationship anymore. You're uncomfortable with it, but you don't know how to get out of it. God is going to give you wisdom in how to communicate, but you're going gonna have to communicate to the person yourself that you want to break free from this relationship, and you'll give them the reason why, and that is because you have a different relationship that you want to nurture and grow, and that is the relationship with Jesus. And you have recently come into a relationship with Jesus and it's why you're uncomfortable with your relationship with this woman right now. So I'm telling you, as you're listening to this, that God is going to give you words of wisdom, clear words of wisdom, because how we communicate is as important as what we say, how we say it. So I want to pray for you right now, father. First of all, I thank you for redeeming this young lady and that you have brought her into your kingdom, that she has a relationship with Jesus and that Holy Spirit you would give her the words to say, and how to say them, words of wisdom that will actually benefit the other person as well. Let it be a clean break. I thank you, god, and we exalt Jesus and we declare these things to be so in his name. Amen. And yeah, if you just again drop us a line at lifearoundthefire at gmailcom, we would love to hear from you.

Speaker 1:

I just I love seeing what God is doing across the nations, and this is one of the ways he's doing it. He's catching the attention of many of us in some unique ways, and this is one of them right here. And the communication aspect that we just talked about, or that was shared with this young woman I want to park on that for a minute because it's a good way for us to cap things off was shared with this young woman. I want to park on that for a minute because it's a good way for us to cap things off. We've been talking about love being the driving force, the power of God's kingdom. It's not power itself, it's love. Love contains within it power. Love contains within it power. Love contains within it faith. Love contains within it hope. Love never fails. God is love. When he bled, he bled love. He loves you, he loves me, he loves us. But he's also very clear in his communication. But it's not a one-size-fits-all communication and that's important for us to remember and that's important for us to remember. It's kind of a little admonition for us when it comes to communication that we want to be careful with not just what we say but how we say it. We want to be wise and loving. We don't want to.

Speaker 1:

For example, jesus in the Gospels there were times where he would address the religious elite, the scribes, the Pharisees, the lawyers, and he called them out man. He said you're like whitewashed tombs, you're like a brood of vipers, and the whitewashed tomb was obviously. The picture was you make the outside look good, but the inside's got dead bones. You're inwardly dead, but outwardly you look good. You're not real. He was saying to them and a brood of vipers saying to him and a brood of vipers, a brood of vipers was a swarm, like a ball of snakes, small snakes, and they would hide in shady areas but it would look like a bunch of sticks, and so if a person wanted to get shade, they would go underneath the shade tree but they would lean on a brood of vipers and the vipers would bite them and they would poison them. Well, that was kind of like the effect of the Pharisees when people were trying to get relief.

Speaker 1:

The vipers, the Pharisees, the religious ones, they would poison them with religion and Jesus would call them out. He said, and he was strong in his communication, but it was love, he was lovingly holding up a mirror to them and they needed to hear it strong. It wasn't to shame them, it was actually so that perhaps they might snap out of it. Some did, many didn't, but some did. They heard what he said. It penetrated, but the same Lord, same Savior, with the woman who was caught in adultery thrown at his feet.

Speaker 1:

And the Pharisees, another group of them, said according to the law, she should be stoned. What do you say? He said the one who has sinned, go ahead, throw the first stone. And Jesus could have been the one who could have thrown the first stone. He didn't and the Pharisees all walked away. They couldn't throw any stones because they knew they were, they had sin in their life. And Jesus looked at her and he goes where are your accusers? And she goes I have none. He goes, I don't accuse you either. Go and sin no more. He didn't call her a brood of vipers or a whitewashed tomb. He said go and be free. You don't have to do that anymore. You're free not to sin anymore. Go, don't do it. You're free not to sin anymore. Go, don't do it, you're free. It's not what it said, it's how it said.

Speaker 1:

And also, a situation isn't a one-size-fits-all. Some situations require things to be strong, some gentle. It's important for us to be wise, loving and know the difference. Let's pray, father, I thank you for I love you. I just thank you for loving us and for teaching us, for showing us, for helping us walk through these different stages and phases and places of our lives and your kingdom, lord.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes I feel like I don't know what I'm doing at all. I'm so dependent on you and you love that and I want to love that. But I'm a. Help me get over myself, god. Help us get over ourselves and focus on you. Help me really focus on you. Appreciate things the way you see them. Teach us, o Lord, and guide us. Show us your paths, o God. Show us your ways. We'll walk in them. In the name of Jesus, amen. All right folks, I love you. If you have any thoughts, questions, concerns, please feel free to drop us a line at lifearoundthefire at gmailcom, or type in lifearoundthefire and look us up on the web.
