What if the whisper that says you’re unworthy isn’t yours at all—but a trespasser you can lawfully remove? We share how a simple homegrown show became a global conversation about the manifest presence of God, and why rising light often stirs a backlash from darkness. Through raw personal moments and clear scripture, we break down how accusation works, why fear of death hides beneath so many decisions, and how Jesus’ victory reframes both identity and authority for everyday believers.

We walk through the difference between inspiration and authority, and why covenant language—spoken in the name of Jesus—carries weight that emotions can’t fake. You’ll hear practical, exact words for confronting oppression, what it means to call out trespass, and the reason the kingdom backs believers who echo what the Father has already declared. Rather than chasing trends or copying others, we return to the Bible as our standard and Christ as our model, exploring how to behold him until our speech and steps align with his.

This conversation widens to a hopeful horizon: God is revealing his glory across nations in ways that are tangible, disruptive, and deeply personal. Expect pressure where light advances. Expect lies to target your past and your sense of calling. And expect breakthrough when you stand in your covenant rights as a co-heir with Christ. If you’re tired of feeling pushed around by invisible weight, this is your invitation to stand up, speak with clarity, and watch darkness move.

If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage today, subscribe for future episodes, and leave a review with one line about the authority you’re choosing to walk in this week.

Feeling Unworthy Under Oppression

We've been seeing something pretty cool around here. And about four years ago, we began this particular podcast, Life Around the Fire, and we started in our home office in Jacksonville, Florida, and we sent information out to a few friends in a couple of states, and then it started communicating on Facebook and LinkedIn and X, just some of the things we had going on, and we didn't really try hard to get a following, if you will. It was basically just kind of an FYI. But what ended up and what has taken place as a result of us doing that is Holy Spirit has breathed on this. And we found out that there are people from around the world that are interested in some of the things that God is revealing to us, that is showing to us. And I want to be very clear in making this statement that we are not the only ones. We have no delusional things of grandeur going on that you know we have some sort of corner on things. But we do have something that has been shown to us or is being shown to us. And it's part of the unfolding plans and purposes of God concerning things that He's doing around the nations. And we're sharing what we have experienced and are experiencing in our own lives and what we see in the scriptures, what we see found in the Bible. We use the Bible as a premise, as a platform, as a place in which we build from. It's our standard. It's what we measure things by. And we also measure ourselves with Christ as being our example. We don't look to other people to try to see what they're doing and copy that. We are interested in staying in step with Jesus as Holy Spirit gives us revelation. And we're sharing some of that revelation with you. And you happen to be sharing it with some of your friends who share with some of their friends, and as a result, we're heard all around the nations now, along with many other voices that are expressing things that are similar, some are different, but when you look at the whole, God is speaking to us prophetically, and he's showing us that he is in the process of revealing his glory, his presence on planet earth in a very profound and impacting way, a very real way. Not a way in which we hear preachers preach, and it's a good sermon, and we get moved, and it's about God, and maybe even attested to by a sense of God's presence. But I'm talking about a manifest presence of God that is a sovereign display of his mighty right arm, a display in which it can only be attributed to God, but in the process of that taking place, his presence, his glory is being revealed across the nations in a very significant way, and it's going to continue to increase. But as that increases, it puts it it puts a type of pressure on evil, on darkness, because darkness cannot comprehend the light. It has to flee from it. And in the process of fleeing from it, it leaves in its wake a tremendous amount of damage. It's that being that wants to be God but can't be God because he's not going to be God, he's a created being, but nonetheless, a very high-ranking angelic figure who goes by the name Satan or the Satan, the accuser, the devil, Beelzebub, whatever name you want to place upon him, he is the king of a kingdom that is opposed to things of God but can't compete with God, but nonetheless has the ability to bring about some element of destruction. And he's doing it. And also, he's the one who creates this sense of darkness and oppression. That if you are a believer in Jesus, you can sense and see things that are oppressive in ways that you previously may not have been able to identify, but now you have the ability to sense and see things, and you can see some of the activity that is the activity of the enemy, but there are times, and this is what I want to leave in this particular podcast episode, leave with you. And that is, there are times when that oppression can get to a person. I've recently encountered that. It leaves a person, it leaves that oppression has left me, has left me feeling like I'm inadequate, inferior. That who do I think I am in calling upon the Lord and expecting him to do great things in my life? I don't have the pedigree for that stuff. That is all oppressive communication that comes from a source. It's fueled by Satan himself, but it's carried out by some of his minions. Demonic powers that have been studying people for hundreds and thousands of years, just studying us, looking for weaknesses, looking for ways they can enter in, and they are more prevalent than we have given that whole area credibility to. It was in weakness that Jesus overcame the powers of darkness, and upon his resurrection, he sealed the deal. He overcame death, one of Satan's most heinous tools. The fear of death, the fear of a long painful death, has been the fear behind many people's lives. There are many wealthy individuals who cannot enjoy their wealth because they are bound in fear. The fear of poverty, fear, the fear of having death take away their wealth. Because death is an enemy. And it's been that type of fear, if not of physical death, of some sort of torture that doesn't go away even if you have all the money. There are so many things that our natural things can't touch, and they require us taking authority. Using the authority that Jesus secured upon his death, his resurrection, and his ascension. He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men upon his ascension. He made an open display. The scripture says it's a public spectacle that he made while on the cross, and then on the resurrection, and then the ascension. We serve a mighty king, the king of kings, and we live in his kingdom, and those spirits have no legal right being in the kingdom. They are trespassing. And we had the authority to stand and command them to move in the name of Jesus by the power of his blood, because that's covenant communication, and we have a covenant relationship with God, meaning that's what his is now ours, in which ours is his. And that covenant overcomes the powers of darkness, the power found in that covenant. We are in covenant with someone who is greater than Satan. And so he must yield to that greater authority, because greater authority must yield to, excuse me, lesser authority must yield to greater authority. Lesser authority must yield to greater authority. And Jesus has greater authority over the powers of darkness, and he said that he has given to us that authority, that authorization to enact the power of his kingdom when it comes to addressing the things of the devil. And so what I've done recently, and I mean recently, is I have taken authority over those powers of darkness once again. And I need to be reminded of it because in the midst of it, sometimes we just get our our our bell gets rung. We can't see things straight. We start actually believing those lies. I did for a minute. I'm like, yeah, what what what right do I really have in believing that I'm of anyone that God would use? I mean, after all, in my background, I have a long list of things that would disqualify a person from thinking that they could be used of God. Except the reality is that the blood of Jesus annihilates those things. Literally removes them, not just covers them up, but removes them. Wipes them clean. The ones I committed, the ones I commit, and the ones I will commit, they're all covered by the blood of Jesus. That's covenant. And by enforcing that covenant, by enforcing the things that are provided for in that covenant, when we address them, when we speak to them, when we declare them, it's powerful. Things actually take place. I stood up and I stood to the powers of darkness just today. I said, You have no right being in this kingdom. And I'm in the kingdom of God.

SPEAKER_01

You're trespassing, and I command you to leave now in the name of Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

Guess what? They did.

SPEAKER_02

They did. I'm not taking any tongue in cheek gestures concerning this. I'm not making them, I'm not taking them. No, this is a reality. This is something that I'm sharing with you. You already know it, but I'm sharing it with you in a fresh and living way, in a Rhema way, that we have authority that's been given to us to overcome the powers of darkness. The scripture says that the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet shortly. And it's a God of peace that goes beyond our understanding, would keep our hearts and minds focused in on Jesus, laser locked in on him. Because what we behold, we become like. If I behold my problems, I just become like the mort problems. I become like the problem even more when I focus in on problems. When I focus in on lies, I start living those lies. When I focus in on Jesus, I start living like him. Because I walk his walk and talk his talk. I walk his walk and talk his talk. And as I do that faithfully and I obey his word, the power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead, that same power, that same spirit lives in me, and I can activate that power. The power, what backing? I have the backing of the kingdom of God. That's what you know. The only way that you can really enforce authority is if you have something to back it up with. Well, I have the kingdom of God backing up the words that come out of my mouth when they coincide with the words that God declares. Our Father has declared these things. I'm echoing his words. I'm declaring what he has declared, and his word will not return back to him without accomplishing what he set out for it to do.

SPEAKER_01

And here we are, the recipients of that blessing.

SPEAKER_02

Folks, we have power over the powers of darkness that bring about that oppression. And I'm saying to you, rise up and take authority in the name of Jesus and say to those powers of darkness, You're trespassing, you got to go now.

SPEAKER_01

And they will.

SPEAKER_02

And he does. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. My heart is for you, man. I want you to succeed. And I believe that you can take these words right now and apply them to your life, and you'll find relief from some of the oppression that's coming against you because the oppression is only a sign that greater things are on the way. It's like moving out the dirt before you really bring about the glory of God. A place that's suitable, a place that's clean, a place that's worthy of the Lord's presence to abide. Powers of darkness have no place. They have no sharing in the glory of God. They would love to, but they can't. Because God said he would not share his glory with another except he is called those of us who have responded to his spirit's wooing in coming to Jesus and finding life in him, that he has already secured it, and that he is removing the rubble and revealing the fact that he abides in us and that we are called to abide in him, and that he will see to it.

SPEAKER_01

That the glory of the Father will be made known, intimately known.

SPEAKER_02

All throughout the nations, all throughout the earth, as the waters cover the sea, so it will be that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

SPEAKER_01

There's something going on that's significant.

SPEAKER_02

And God wants us to see that some of these oppressive things, yes, they've been going on for a long time, but they have been increasing, and the intensity has been increasing in order to even deceive the elect in believing lies. Sometimes it's not doctrinal lies about God, it's about lies about ourselves.

SPEAKER_01

Things that we believe about ourselves, lies, deceiving even the elect, if at all possible.

Covenant Authority To Confront Evil

SPEAKER_02

But here it clear that we have been given authority in the name of Jesus. As we walk in accordance with his word, he is faithful to do what he said he's going to do to us and through us. And we have been given his name and his authority, his life, his kingdom, his power, and he said that we would share in his glory. When I said that he would not share his glory with another, and I said accept, except he has said that he's going to share it with us. We are co-heirs with Christ. Amazing. We've been given great authority. Let's use it in the proper way. And let's be a people that are joined together as a result of us knowing and hosting and stewarding the glory of the Lord. Let's pray. Father, I thank you. God, I thank you and honor you for who you are. You alone are God, and there is no one like you.

SPEAKER_01

There is none like you, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

We look to you to bring to our hearts and minds a clear understanding of the authority that you've given to us. And we can utilize that authority properly and see the powers of darkness moved away. The very name of your son, meaning that we are just like your son. You called us to be just like him. And so we declare that we are like him, according to your spirit, according to your word.

SPEAKER_01

You have transformed us and are transforming us into the very likeness of your son Jesus. And we say, Yes, Lord, have your way.

SPEAKER_02

Jesus, it's in your name that we stand here and we say, Amen, amen, amen, amen. Amen. Alright, folks, we love you.
