If you have ever done all the “right” Christian things and still felt empty, we are going straight at that tension. We talk openly about how easy it is to slip into dead religion: programs, repetition, and spiritual language without the felt reality of God’s presence. Being a decent person is not the finish line, and going through the motions cannot satisfy the hunger for real faith, real hope, and real love rooted in relationship with God.

We also make a vulnerable announcement. We have been building toward a teaching series on King David, the life of David, and the Tabernacle of David, including the prophetic relevance many people connect to 24/7 worship and the soon return of Jesus Christ. But we are not launching it yet. Why? Because we do not want to deliver something that is merely presented. We want it to be birthed, shaped by prayer, humility, discernment, and the accompanying presence of the Lord, not just a well-made outline.

That is where you come in. We ask for intercession, strategic prayer, and a growing base of prayer support so what we share stays alive, God-centered, and strong enough to carry fruit without toppling. We close by praying for intercessors to be raised up and for God’s kingdom to be expressed with power and clarity. If this resonates, subscribe, share the episode with a friend who feels stuck in routine, and leave a review so more listeners can find these conversations.

Authentic Faith Versus Dead Religion

SPEAKER_00

One of the things that we have really taken to heart at Life Ron Fire, this podcast, is being really upfront with you regarding where things are at in our lives. And anyone who really sits behind this microphone, we place high amount of trust in what is coming out of their hearts and out of their mouths, out of their lives, because most of us have done church, right? We've gone through the various programs and we've tried to do things and have seen them fall flat. Sometimes we've seen some successful things, and by and large, though, we've seen a lot of us doing a lot of things and then slapping the name of God on it, oftentimes in the end, just because we're supposed to, or maybe we'll read some scriptures because we're supposed to be biblical and we go through the motions, but there's really no presence of God per se. The general sense that God is everywhere. We express that as being, you know, that wonderful hope that we have that one day we're going to be able to encounter Him in a more intimate fashion, and then we will really be able to see our lives develop and mature and grow and so on and so forth. Kind of like wait until we get to heaven, because then everything's gonna be alright. And in the meantime, we're gonna do our best just to be good people, and that should be good enough. Well, quite frankly, in the end, if we all get real with each other, that's not enough. I mean, that's not enough for us, let alone let alone, let alone to satisfy God with some sort of little nibblet, you know, a little snack to give him, and we're then hopefully he'll be satisfied with that little snack that we offer up. And the scripture does say this: it says that without faith, without relationship, without that real living relationship of trust, of having hope, of having dreams, of having faith, of placing your life in the hands of someone else and really loving them, and them doing the same thing with you, and love really being the central thing that satisfies both of you, and in the midst of that faith is that love, and that hope lives in there, and that faith, hope, and love, man, that that's satisfying. But religion, just the works, just doing things for the sake of doing things. One week because they were done that way last week, and the week before, and the week before, hoping that maybe one of these weeks or one of these days something's gonna happen that's gonna be significant. And oftentimes we go through life just prisoners of hope. Hoping against hope, hoping, hoping, hope, hoping that one day it's gonna be, and that's not even hope. It's more like wishing instead of having any substance. And God is not into having a fake relationship, that's dead religion, and there's plenty of that going on, and it does not satisfy God, and it certainly doesn't satisfy us if we get real. And so I say all that to say this: that we have been leading up to talking about and saying that we're going to be looking into the life of King David, and we've been highlighting this for some time now, and saying that it's going to be coming up, and we were going to be hopefully having it introduced after Dr. Bill gave his overview of the life of David and the Tabernacle of David. And today was going to be a day in which we launched our series on King David. And you know what? I gotta be real with you, and I'm going to be real with you, and be honest with you. It isn't time for it to be birthed yet. Not from us. The life of David is so prophetic. It is it carries with it so much relevancy right now. The tabernacle of David, 24-7 worship, having there be the unveiling of things prior to the second coming of Jesus. Man, it I mean it it it's it's all coming in place, and we're going to be sharing that very soon, but when we do, it has to be birthed for us to be able to do that. That's the best way that I can say it. So I'm calling out for those people that are involved in intercession to please intercede for us here at Life Around the Fire, that we will be able to have the words the right the whole way in which it comes forth would be birthed and not just something that's presented because we have some outlines and we know how to do it. We need the accompanying presence of the Lord. This is a key thing that's being expressed by others all around the nations. And I celebrate that and encourage you to get your hands on any information that you possibly can, eat the meat, spit out the bones, on the life of King David, the tabernacle of David, how things are going on right now in the area of 24-7 worship, how all that plays into the whole prophetic picture of the soon return of Jesus Christ. Man, I encourage you to get your hands on it. And like I said, eat the meat, spill the bones. You know how to do that. Use some discernment, and we're going to be sharing things in the near future, but it's not time for us to share it yet. We're not the drop in God's ocean of communication. We're a drop, one of many. Fortunately, we are one of God's drops, and so we're gonna express things as they come to us, as they're birthed. As they're birthed by virtue of God's presence being upon us, both to us, right, but through us. And right now, it hasn't been birthed for it to come through us yet. It's to us, and now it's growing in us, and it's going to be birthed through us. But we need you to pray for us. That's the one thing in our agreement that we want to call into play right now, and that is for you to pray for us, to intercede, to ask God to give you a spirit of intercession to pray strategically for us for the birthing of this particular message, the life of David and the tabernacle of David specifically. Those two things. We appreciate it, we love you, we depend on you, and we thank you for your faithfulness and for your time spent behind the scenes in prayer, because that's what makes this podcast accessible to people around the nations, and it's being listened to around the nations, thankfully. But also, it keeps what's being expressed, it keeps it alive because it's you know, God is in it. I want to be something I don't want to be involved in anything that I can just do on my own. I mean, I want to do my part, but I want to be doomed to failure unless God is in it. If God's in it, then yes, let it succeed. But I want it to be something that I can't do, something above me, something that's better than me. And when we communicate things publicly in our episodes, that's what we have in mind, and that's what we want, and that's what we're waiting on, and that's what we're asking you for your help concerning your part in this, and that is prayer. If it's not intercession, just say a prayer for us. But if you are an intercessor, please invite the Holy Spirit to give you that spirit of intercession so you can join in with what's taking place and help this thing be birthed so it can be part of what's going on across the nations. Hallelujah. Let's pray. Father, I thank you, God, first of all, for who you are, for what you're doing and how you're doing it, how you're doing, how you're unveiling your kingdom. It's your kingdom, and your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven, and that you'd give us your heart, your presence, concerning the life of David and the tabernacle of David, and its relevancy to our lives today, and how we can be part of it. How we can partake in what's going on prophetically across the nations, as it's growing, developing, maturing, being birthed in different places. I ask you to raise up intercessors and prayer warriors on behalf of Life Around the Fire Ministries. That we could see things grow and develop as the base of our prayer ministry grows and matures and develops. That that base would be solid so that the breadth and the height of this ministry can continue to grow and develop and not topple. But it would be strong, firm in foundation, strong in your word, Lord. Your written word and your Rhema word, Lord, that there would be a living expression, a dynamic display of your kingdom, your power and your glory, and that we would bring honor to Jesus, seeing him exalted in you being presented as his God and Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and you, Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Living God, falling fresh on us. Hallelujah. We honor you, we give our lives to you, and we ask that you would present us as workmen that do not need to be ashamed, but we'd be filled with your word and due to your power. And we stand here in the name of Jesus and we say, Amen, amen, amen. So be it, amen. Amen. All right, folks, we love you. We ask you to pray for us, please.
