We consider that to be a true sign of spiritual growth as we journey along The Way. If this is you then come along with us as we co-operate with God in what He is doing around the corner and around the world!
Life Around "The Fire"
A Simple Practice That Changes Every Gathering
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Most of us walk into a room quietly asking, “What am I going to get out of this?” We wanted to offer a reset that’s short, direct, and practical: the next time you get together with friends, family, or other believers, plan on being a giver.
We talk about what Christian generosity can actually look like in real life. Yes, sometimes it’s money. Just as often it’s a word of encouragement, a moment of prayer, or the courage to let God use you to strengthen someone through the gifts of the Spirit. The goal isn’t a one-time act. We’re aiming for a lifestyle of giving, not because we have to, but because we get to.
From there, we tie generosity to discipleship and the example of Jesus. God gives, Jesus gives everything, and we’re called into that same pattern of love. We also push back on a shallow “faith equals getting stuff” mindset and name the bondage of scarcity and begging. We want abundance for a reason: so we can be free to give. Even if it starts small, it starts with a decision.
We wrap with a prayer asking God for wisdom to maximize the life and provision He’s entrusted to us, so we can show the world what giving looks like. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

Short, Sweet, And Direct
SPEAKER_00something. Whether it's giving money to somebody, giving a word of encouragement to somebody, perhaps
Show Up Ready To Give
SPEAKER_00even being used by God to demonstrate one of the gifts of the Spirit to somebody else. But the next time you get together, don't think of getting something, but think of giving something. Something that you can give both to God and to someone else. Because really one of the chief things that we've been called to be as believers in Jesus, as disciples of Christ, we are called to be like Him and He modeled giving. Jesus gave everything. In fact, Charles Wesley said about Jesus that he emptied
Jesus As The Model Giver
SPEAKER_00himself of all but love and bled for Adam's helpless race. Amazing love, how can it be that thou my God shouldst die for me? Right? Amazing love that God so loved the world that He gave He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever should believe in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life, not just an ordinary getting by existence, but the very life of God, to be co heirs with Christ, to be partakers of the divine nature of God. That is our calling. It's not the calling to be religious and to do some good things and to get some good things. It's not a religion of getting a new car so that we can impress our neighbors. It's about giving. It's about demonstrating a lifestyle of giving. Not just an occasional thing that we do,
Breaking The Religion Of Getting
SPEAKER_00but we live a lifestyle of giving. Not because we have to, but because we get to. It's a blessing. It's a burden to be a beggar. Poverty is a curse, not a blessing. To be a beggar is to live a cursed life. We are called to be abundant in our lifestyle so we can be givers in our lifestyle. There's more seed in an apple. Right? But there's more apples in a seed. A man There's an abundance of seeds in an apple, but there's an abundance of apples in a seed. Creation itself speaks about giving. If creation didn't give, we wouldn't exist.
Abundance Lessons From A Seed
SPEAKER_00Creation itself gives. And we are called to be givers. We get to be givers. Poverty and begging that's bondage. Being free to give, even if it's a little to begin with, even if it's just a very small amount to begin with. We get to be givers. We're called to be givers. You are called to be a giver. And the next time you get together with other people, plan on being a giver. Let's pray. Father, thank you. God, thank you that you've called us to be like you and you've empowered us to be like you. You've called us into relationship with you, but you've called us to work together with you in that relationship. Thank you that you have joined us eternally together with you, and that your love keeps us safe
Prayer For Wisdom And Provision
SPEAKER_00and secure. That you have provisions for us that we have yet to tap into, but the ones that you've given that we can tap into, Lord, give us the wisdom. Show us how to maximize the amount of life that we can live so we can become givers to the greatest degree possible. Known as people that are givers, partakers of the divine nature who demonstrate what giving looks like. Thank you, God, and we honor you in everything that we say, think, and do. And we look to walk more and more like Jesus as we partake in your divine nature. And we stand here with you, God, and we declare these things to be true in the name of Jesus. We declare them to be true in our lives. So be it. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Alright, folks, we love you.
