The Creative Frame - A Photography Podcast
A podcast for photographers looking for creative inspiration and a glance into other artist’s creative processes.
Are you feeling stuck right now with everything going on in the world? What would it mean for your photography to lean in, really lean in, to the idea of creating straight from the heart.
Creating for yourself not for the socials or for posting but creating work that resonates with you & makes your heart burst. How can we bring a little light into our lives right now through our art?
Each month I’ll be interviewing photographers about what’s inspiring their current projects, their dreams, and how they’ve found their voice as an artist along with how to stay inspired to pick up your camera. I hope you’ll join us for this adventure.

Today I’m talking with Linsey Davis who is an internationally-acclaimed documentary family photographer. Her life is chock-full of homeschooling, road trips, backyard shenanigans, fun extracurricular activities, and a lot of cooking. All of which we talk about today. Linsey also shares the importance of incorporating humor in her photos, the elements she looks for in documentary photos, and what some of the barriers are she overcame as she stretched herself creatively over this last year. We talk about some of her photography projects, their meanings, and how she develops them along with her self assignments.
I hope this conversation leaves you with some ideas for getting creative with your own photography.
