The Creative Frame - A Photography Podcast
A podcast for photographers looking for creative inspiration and a glance into other artist’s creative processes.
Are you feeling stuck right now with everything going on in the world? What would it mean for your photography to lean in, really lean in, to the idea of creating straight from the heart.
Creating for yourself not for the socials or for posting but creating work that resonates with you & makes your heart burst. How can we bring a little light into our lives right now through our art?
Each month I’ll be interviewing photographers about what’s inspiring their current projects, their dreams, and how they’ve found their voice as an artist along with how to stay inspired to pick up your camera. I hope you’ll join us for this adventure.

Today for episode 17, I’m talking with Chloe Lodge who is an award winning storyteller photographer based in New Zealand. She loves to illustrate life with light and digs deep into the shadows of her everyday.
Chloe has also recently shared her love affair of the photographic medium with the world in the form of a self-published 'recipe' book. It's called ‘For the Love of the Photograph’ and has become a global success and treasure within the photography community.
She recently moved to New Zealand and now lives on a sheep, beef and deer farm with her husband, two children and their much-loved rescue dog called Lucca.
In this conversation, Chloe does not hold back from sharing about her journey, how her art background influences her photography, and her creative process. We dig deep into how you can get reflective and analyze your work along with why this kind of activity is important and will help you grow your skills as a photographer. We also spend some time discussing Instagram and Chloe shares some insightful thoughts and questions you can ask yourself. This is one you do not want to miss so here is our conversation!
