The Creative Frame - A Photography Podcast
A podcast for photographers looking for creative inspiration and a glance into other artist’s creative processes.
Are you feeling stuck right now with everything going on in the world? What would it mean for your photography to lean in, really lean in, to the idea of creating straight from the heart.
Creating for yourself not for the socials or for posting but creating work that resonates with you & makes your heart burst. How can we bring a little light into our lives right now through our art?
Each month I’ll be interviewing photographers about what’s inspiring their current projects, their dreams, and how they’ve found their voice as an artist along with how to stay inspired to pick up your camera. I hope you’ll join us for this adventure.

Looking at the Expected in an Unexpected Way with Kristin Dokoza
For today’s episode, I’m talking with Kristin Dokoza. Kristin is a child and family photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area, known for her unique abilities in capturing light and mood. She believes in the wonder of connection, laughter and love in everyone. Kristin is a wife and mother of two boys who can crack a joke with the best of them.
In this conversation, Kristin shares what inspires her, what her process is when she is shooting family sessions as well as her commercial work - along with a lot insight into herself and how she approaches photography. I loved this part of the conversation since it left me thinking more about how we all bring our unique experiences and point of views to our work.
You can find all the information on her art and her workshops on her website or her Instagram.
