What to Do When You Have a Bad Podcast Guest?
What do you do when you have a bad podcast guest? I had multiple people recently reach out to ask this question, and it’s a very valid question to ask. If you are a podcaster long enough, you’re bound to get a terrible guest. But what do you do with their audio? How do you proceed? This week, episode 42 of Listeners to Leads is about what to do when you do get that bad podcast guest!
In this episode of Listeners to Leads, I’m sharing the importance of vetting your guests before you press record and actionable steps you can take right now to handle a terrible guest.
I also chat about the following:
- My own workflow; how I utilize a form I created on ClickUp to vet my guests and their topics of choice before I even connect with them to schedule a time to record.
- What you can do when you get a good guest whose topic just doesn’t fit your calendar plan anymore.
- What to do when a guest is a terrible guest, and how to handle it without adding to their imposter syndrome.
- A brand new downloadable email template bundle just for you! Listen to learn more!
Whether they were a terrible guest or it’s just not fitting your content plan anymore, this episode gives you the permission to not air that episode. Keep in mind that your audience comes first!
Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
Thank you for listening!
