Echinacea

Echinacea spp.

 Appearance: Echinacea plants have long stems and long hairy leaves. Their flowers are large and showy with long white, yellow, pink, or purple petals and an  orange or brown center.  

Echinacea can be used as a natural antibiotic, as it boosts the immune system to fend off colds and the flu. The writer of Proverbs reminds us that true health  comes from the fear of the Lord. 

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
