Dr. Natasha N. Johnson is a Clinical Instructor of Criminal Justice and Criminology at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Legal, Ethical, and Regulatory Issues and has served as a reviewer and editor for many other publications. With more than 20 years of experience as an educator, her research focuses on critical theory, equity, and social justice leadership, especially within the K-20 sector. She is a STEM Gem who is also interested in intersectionality, educational law, policy and governance, and curriculum development. Dr. Johnson has worked as a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant dean, instructional leader, and curriculum developer in the US and abroad. She is a David L. Clark scholar and a CETLOE Faculty Teaching Fellow and has published her work in various academic journals, including JSTOR, SAGE, the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Taylor & Francis, the Routledge Focus series, Psychology of Violence, and popular press. Dr. Johnson believes that authors and reviewers should engage in mutual exchange during the academic publishing process. She emphasizes the importance of maintaining a fair and balanced system of submissions and reviews.
