Hey everyone :) Welcome back!!! Our little friend changed today so my friend won this for me at round one and I spent like $100 trying to win this stupid thing like on my own and like I couldn't win it and like she want it for me and so like we kept calling it butter dog right because this looks like a butter dog you know like the meme like butter dog dog with the butter on it like we thought that was that what it was but on its bag it's pancake bear It's Not Butter dog but I kept this a secret from them and then like butter dog came up in a different conversation and I was like Hey guys like I have to be honest with you guys like his tag says pancake bear and they're like whatever he's butter dog for like the rest of his life and so I agree with that so we might give him like weird identity issues by calling him butter dog when he exists as a pancake bear but we'll kind of deal with the consequences of that identity crisis at a later date and I will let you guys know um how that goes so um today's uh topic is fun ways that Korean people scam their kids into Elite international schools um and you might be thinking like yeah like people everywhere scam their kids into school too like if you have money you're going to scam your way into to having your like kid go to an elite school if you don't value your kid actually like working hard or something like if you have a loser kid like I'm sorry like you just have loser kid okay like just take that money and like put it somewhere else okay but you know some parents just refuse to have a normie child and so as the year comes to an end the semester is also coming to an end and this made me think like hm children are probably warming up to get their kids into school not me I don't have children but others and since you clicked on this video maybe you're wondering how to scam your way into your own elite school or scam your child's way into an elite school especially if you are in Korea this may be applicable to other countries let me know if these tips are helpful to you and help scam your way into your preferred school but you can only do this if you have money so if you're poor you can leave this video so I'm Reese and I'm so glad that you believe and learn something new and so I'm going to teach you guys about Golden passports today okay so especially in like Asian countries too if you hold a foreign passport you're allowed to go to international schools and you want to go to these international schools because you want to be with native English speakers right so that's a lot of the reason why people want to go to these international schools and there are lots of international schools overseas but not all of them are accredited right and so you want to get into the legit ones right and to do that you need a legit foreign passport and you know if you're a Korean citizen you have a Korean passport you need a different passport you know you can move to the United States or naturalize something like that or you can just buy a different country's passport and that is what you can do in some of the Pacific island countries and the most popular one nowadays is Vanuatu so Vanuatu is like this archipelago right so kind of like the Philippines where it has like a bunch of different islands that make up like it the entire space for the low low price of $100,000 you can also get a vanuatuan passport so that's one quick and easy way you can scam your way into international school so I looked up a bit about vanuatu as well and I was like oh man like is is that like a a cheap country or in something cuz I never heard anything about it and just Googling pictures like it looks beautiful but since they like Peg the vatu to the US dollar like things aren't actually super cheap in Vanuatu and I think it could be a pretty popular tourist destination for like people who live in like Australia cuz that's like it could be like Australia's Hawaii but Vanuatu has one airplane and so like if it goes down like your flight's literally cancelled or if it goes down you're literally stuck in Vanuatu so it sounds like they don't really have um much of a priority to like bulk up their tourism especially if they can charge people 100K for citizenship too like why spend more money on a plane or on a hotel just do other things like scam and plus since it's archipelago too there's like different like islands and stuff so there's like one main city that you can fly into but to get anywhere else you'd have to take multiple boats and it takes like days like three days to like get to different Islands so yeah I was like ooh like should I go there someday but like no probably not it doesn't look like a very like well thought out vacation destination place but I heard like the Island Vibes and the people are like super duper nice there which I'm sure they are like all islands are like that like even between like Korea and juu Island like a little island off like the coast of Korea like juu has way different Vibes than like you know Soul obviously because it's just the life is slower and yeah anyway but that's what I learned about Vanuatu maybe you're like H Vanuatu is kind of like suspicious though I don't want a Vanuatu passport other countries you can go to are Malta or or Cyprus Egypt so maybe either one of those are less suspicious But whichever country you prefer and find less suspicious will work best for you but 100K and Scott free so I came across this article too of this mom who is interested in getting her son a Vanuatu passport um because also it's a way to like skip if you have a son like if they have citizenship of a different country they don't have to do their mandated 2year service of the military and that's like a standard for different countries too like Singapore as well you have to spend 2 years in the military if you're a male and that disrupts like a lot of people's life like they either have to like graduate high school and then a two-year gap before they go into University or go to university and then a 2-year gap before they can get an employment at places and then go into the military like it just kind of seems like a huge disruptor and then like as a mom I don't know like I would be really really tempted to do that for my kid if I knew that was their future o you know I don't know it just sounds like good planning to me I know it's a scam but also it sounds like good planning and in this article too that I'll link in the description as well like to mail in your passport it cost $1,300 to like get the passport change and I thought getting my passport changed was expensive cuz it was like $100 and I was like Wow government you're robbing me and then Thomas's he's a citizen of the United Kingdom and his was $250 and I was like but then vanu watchu is like 1,300 and I know they just do that cuz like they can right they know these people got money so they're they're milking it they're lemoning it they're squeezing out all the juicy money from these people and like there are ways to like get your Korean passported student into international schools I went to an international school in Japan and I did like an exchange program where I would go to like a Japanese school and then that Japanese kid would take my place in school so it was like an exchange and like people can sign up for those and do those right and then that would happen like every week for like two days we would do that and like that was that was fine I don't know so you can there are other ways to like not be scammy but scamming is easier you know um if you just have 100K lying around but maybe you do have a little bit of time or you have a nanny um so and you kind of want to go about it in a different way and be a little bit less suspicious um by having maybe like a US passport or something which is a little bit more difficult but there is birth tourism in the US like you can have a baby in the United States if you're from a different country and that baby will have dual citizenship and that's this is the case for a lot of different countries too cuz my cousin was born in Germany and um she has dual citizenship too I believe so that's crazy and so you might think like like the 50 states like that's kind of far from like Korea you know and so like if you're a Korean citizen like you'd be like well I don't want to go all the way to like California so some other cheaper places to give birth at for US Passport is Guam or sipan which are other beautiful islands just a hop skip and a jump away from uh Korea and you can use like jedu a have really really cheap flights um over to guer cpan so you know those are some tips and tricks but let's say like maybe you're like well you know I don't want to go through all this like citizenship business I'll just get into the best school I can you know in Korea with our Korean citizenship we'll do it that way and so but maybe you're not in the right neighborhood to go to the best school district you know so I suggest fake residency to get into the school district that you want to and this is such a phenomenon that like it even happens like from Korean families in place places like California like they will rent out apartments in like Palo Alto like shortterm like Palo Alto or like certain school districts in Irvine or whatever to like get access to these schools and then move somewhere else cheaper right like they'll get the paperwork all done like to prove residency and then they'll like commute their kids uh to a better school district and honestly yeah it's fraud but it's also smart but maybe you don't don't care about the quality of education and you just want a piece of paper that shows that you went to an international school to make it E year for your kid to get into maybe a better College um so you can go to a ghost school um so these are places where you can send your kid abroad to like places like the Philippines and stuff where it's really cheap and people do speak English there so your kid will have like good English immersion and stuff but the schools aren't like accredited to be like international schools but your kid will learn the skills you know and they'll have this good International School certificate so it might help or hinder your child it's kind of like a role of the dice but ghost schools those are also an option if you want to send your child to the Philippines or there's also like dual enrollment programs where you can like go to regular High School in Korea but then also dual enroll your child into another university in the United States to like get that type of education too like online but I feel like that would only help you if you had a child who was a hard worker as well um cuz it sounds like a lot of actual work that needs to go into a child doing double school so if your child won't do double school this won't work for you and then so you need $100,000 for a different passport um but if you do have a hardworking child that this may be an option for you cuz then your kid can like do English language like SAT prep and stuff to pass those tests and get high marks to go into international schools but um I mean the SATs were hard for me but I'm also an idiot so maybe your child will do better or you can get your kid like involved in a really weird and Niche sport so they can be on an elite sports team like equestrian or rowing or yacht racing or you can have a rare certification like piloting or scuba diving those are kind of more of a role of the dice too you don't really know if like admissions people will care about it but also your kid will just be cooler too because I don't have any of those certificates or extracurriculars but I feel like I would think I was cooler and um it would help your child's self-image probably and they'd probably know a lot of rich people and rich friends so maybe they'd get like the end of like job stuff so like Elite Hobbies yacht clubbing yeah that's probably a good place to put your child for like the the social implications of like having a rich friend that might be useful and then if you just don't have the money for all this you just don't have all the time you can rent out like a office TA or a goian for your child and force them to study nonstop forever in a Hogan forever and ever and ever um so yeah these were fun ways that you could scam yourself or Someone's Child that you know or your own into an elite school um I don't know if this language is going to be flagged by YouTube actually um as like harmful but this was a joke okay if it wasn't clear um but I just thought this was like a really fun video to do of like basically how to you know scam your way into different universities so I
