Black History Month has come and gone but not without controversy. One prominent black ignored by educators is Clarence Thomas, whose story cannot be found in the popular Penguin Workshop mini books for kids age 1-12 featured at Barnes & Noble. 
You can find RBG and KBJ but not Clarence Thomas!   Ivy League Conservative quotes from  the 2007  Memoir of Clarence Thomas entitled "My Grandfather's Son." In the book,  Clarence Thomas writes about coming to terms with the "angry black man" he had become at Holy Cross College in 1968-69.Clarence Thomas' remarkable story should be front and center of black history education in America. Sadly, it is not.
