This episode looks into the exploits of John Basilone, one of America's first war heroes in WWII. Basilone was made famous following his heroism on Guadalcanal where he won the Congressional Medal of Honor. The group will discuss the War in the Pacific as seen through his actions and discuss the various moments which went on to define one of America's greatest wartime figures.
