Jesus in the Temple Week 4 - The Hammer

Dr Adam Claasen concludes his series with a look at the Maccabean Revolt. Judas Maccabeus also known as "Judas the Hammer" was a central figure in the Maccabean revolt against the Greek (Seleucid) Empire. Through much fighting and bloodshed, "the Hammer" helped bring temporary peace to the Jewish territories. 
While walking the temple complex, Jesus claims to be the Messiah (John 10:22-42). Jesus would be the true liberator of Israel and beyond. He will spill his own blood to defeat sin and usher in a kingdom that knows no end.
