Fear is a primal instinct. It's rooted deep within us, and it can be misunderstood or a wise counselor. Fear, you see, can be a good teacher if we let it.
The fear of God is a recurring theme throughout Scripture. For the most part, it means to revere with utmost respect. It is the beginning of wisdom, as Proverbs says, and it leads to life. Without it leads to, well, not life. What does it look like to live with this holy awe and reverence that leads to life?
