We've looked at Sabbath as a gift of time (Genesis 2) and a claim on our talent (Mark 2) — but there's a third movement Scripture won't let us skip: Sabbath as a claim on our treasure. In Exodus 16, Israel is free from slavery but still grumbling, convinced God won't provide. God's answer isn't a lecture — it's manna. Daily bread, no stockpiling, and a double portion on the sixth day so rest costs nothing.
