Your Burning Questions
Chas and Julie kick off this episode lamenting about the inconvenience of airport carpet, noting the smooth transition from laminate to carpet in terminals, which snags luggage. They also touch on the Super Bowl's impact, citing a study showing 22.6 million people took off the day after the game. Julie and Chas also address executive priorities, noting that while CEOs focus on profits, attracting and retaining talent is crucial. They conclude with humorous responses to how they stay productive.
We're gonna stop right here.
Julie Develin:I'm asking once again why to get to the actual gates in the D terminal. They have beautiful laminate floor, and man, that those those suitcases roll like butter smooth. Then all of a sudden, Chaz, you get to this threshold point, and somebody, somebody decided, You know what, this is the point we we provided them a good experience getting here. That experience shall not last. And there comes the carpet. My two cases getting snagged.
Chas Fields:Here's my question for airport authorities, are we genuinely concerned about people slipping, coming up and down the jet bridge? Because I would argue that that same risk applies on any other surface that is a hard surface throughout the rest of the airport.
