Fatima is a native New Yorker who moved to Paris about five years ago on a whim. As each year passes by, she wonders what motivates people to dig roots in France. This podcast hopes to demystify the allure of navigating French society as a foreigner. Through conversations with friends & strangers who have spent a considerable amount of time in Paris, whether 3 months, 3 years, or a lifetime, we plan to understand how France changed their scope on life and the work that they do. From New Zealand to Paris│Meet Charlotte Pleasants, a Paris based Theater Artist
After graduating from a bachelor's degree in Theater & Anthropology , Charlotte Pleasants intended to move to the UK but a short stint in Paris about 6 years ago caught her attention and she's been in Paris ever since. Since her arrival, she has been heavily involved in the English theater scene. She created Tapis Theatre and is a founding member of Cygnet Theatre, a Shakespeare theatre troupe.
