She is a dyslexic gal who graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Animal Science. She has applied to be a veterinarian. Listen to her story about the pageant details and hear her new announcement.

Dr. Marianne Cintron is a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Administration, speaker, and author. She has a Master of Education in General Education and in Special Education complementing her two California Teaching Credentials. She is a Dyslexia Specialist, President of Step By Step Dyslexia Solutions, and an International Teacher Trainer. She tutors students with Dyslexia and is currently in a Practicum to receive Orton Gillingham Associate Level Certification. Dr. Cintron is a curriculum developer “Step By Step Reading©” and an app developer “Dunking Dyslexia TM” (or look for CDS – CintronDyslexiaSolutions), intended to work together to help the dyslexic child read.
She is the author of “A Message of Hope, How Music Enhances Reading for Dyslexic Students.” She has twenty-one years of experience in Education, ten years as a Classroom Teacher. She is a board member of the International Dyslexia Association Tri-County Branch, a member of Christian Business Partners in Upland, a member of the Global Society of Female Entrepreneurs. She is a California native, has been married to Will for 31 years, and they have three adult children.
