Drawing from Isaiah 9:2-3, we examined how joy is not dependent on our circumstances, but flows from a settled confidence in our salvation and the finished work of the cross. In a time when our nation—and our individual lives—face darkness, uncertainty, and challenges, we were reminded that true joy comes not from what we manufacture, but from what we receive when God reveals His Son. This joy is theological, not merely psychological; it's the fruit of reconciliation with God through Christ's atoning sacrifice.
