Join Ps Chantel Byrne, as she leads us in celebration of the promise fulfilled this Pentecost Sunday - the baptism of the Holy Spirit that empowers us for mission and transforms us from the inside out. The same power that fell on 120 disciples in that upper room is available for you today. This isn't just about salvation - it's about being clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49). The disciples positioned themselves, devoted themselves to prayer, and waited with hunger and expectation. They were never the same after the Holy Spirit came upon them. Are you hungry for more of God? Have you positioned yourself to receive His promise? The baptism of the Holy Spirit isn't striving - it's receiving by faith the free gift of the Father. "How much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?" (Luke 11:13). This promise is for you, for your children, for all who are far off - everyone whom the Lord calls to Himself (Acts 2:38-39). Position yourself. Seek Him wholeheartedly. He is faithful to fill the hungry and thirsty.
