Week two of our Forged by Fire series at our 5pm gathering, Mitchell Fourie dove into James 1:19-27, exploring three types of people who hear Scripture: those who hear but don't obey, those who hear and obey, and those who think they're obeying but have drifted off course. Like building a house on rock versus sand, our foundation matters when life's storms hit. Here's the truth: we can't do this alone. We need to abide in Jesus daily, letting His Word be the spirit level for our lives. It's not about perfection—it's about getting back to basics. Love God, love others, walk humbly, and be salt and light in your sphere of influence. If you've been running from God's call, feeling discouraged in obedience, or realise you've been coasting spiritually, tonight is the night to come back to Him. No shame, no condemnation—just freedom in Christ to start fresh.
