We live in a disposable world but our God is not a disposable God. He is a covenant-keeping, promise-keeping Father whose faithfulness stretches to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9). Every promise he has ever made, he has kept - from Abraham to the empty tomb to Pentecost. This Sunday, Ps Cody reminded us that God does not treat his people as disposable. He pursues the wandering, restores the fallen, and remains faithful even when we are not (2 Timothy 2:13). The cross is the ultimate proof - the new covenant sealed in the blood of Jesus (Luke 22:20). And because He is faithful, we are called to be faithful in our walk with God, in our marriages, in our families, and in our church community. Faithfulness is love that learned how to stay.
